Let me just say congrats to the ACC to not screwing it up for the first weekend in what seems like forever. Apart from Florida State and to a lesser extent VA Tech or Clemson, the league still isn't very good but how many years in a row did the ACC lose to the likes of Old Dominion, Troy, and San Diego St. Bravo ACC, bravo. I know it's early but one game in conference that I am looking forward to is Louisville @ Clemson on Oct. 11th. I am really interested to see how good Louisville actually is. They've looked pretty good so far but it's pretty hard to gauge them against their competition so far.

I gotta say I'm all in on Leicester this year. They are a fantastic team to watch and give no fucks when they are playing teams with higher quality players. Hope they can keep this up all year.

I think the category where the separation between one and two is the closest is in baseball. Mike Trout and Giancarlo Stanton are really close stat wise. Trout is better at getting extra bases and Stanton is hitting with better power and a slightly higher average. Even their wins over replacement is very tight with Stanton at 6.05 and Trout at 6.00. The reason I would give the nod to Trout is that I feel like you have to be a better athlete to play CF than RF. I really wish Andrew McCutchen had not gotten hurt this year as I would have loved to compare them equally. Trout is beating McCutchen right now in most stats that aren't average but Andrew is such a great fielder. I really think the only real stat that Trout could significantly improve on is his strikeouts. Still they are all amazing athletes and I'm glad that we will have many more years of watching them play!

Jason Puncheon commits a stupid slide tackle and gets sent off on his second yellow and Arsenal scores less than two minutes later. Crystal Palace worked hard enough to get the point here but they couldn't keep the composure for the full 90 and end up getting nothing today. Such a shame.

That Everton/Leicester match was fantastic to watch. You could say that Leicester stole a point there but they played really well all game long and really earned their tie. Will be watching them again soon. Everton though really should play better in the second half. They had almost no build up like they did in the first half and it cost them.

I'm very glad to see Lance signed with the Hornets as I said earlier when I compared him and Gordon Hayward. If I had a texas hold'em hand of crazy shooting guards I might go all in with Lance and PJ though. This season should be fun.

I understand how things can get out of hand in a pickup game. If you're PJ though you have to have better sense than to get into it with anyone right now. Also we've had Gordon Hayward have a visit but I just don't see it happening here as he'd require a 14.8 million (max money) to get him away from the Jazz and I would prefer if I had the chance to have Lance. Lance has a higher true shooting percentage, has a sightly higher efficiency, and a slightly lower PER that could be explained by playing on a team that values defense more than offense.

It sucks that we lost...like really sucks, but I'm excited to see what Jurgen can do with four years to develop players to be more than just bigger and stronger than other teams.
