Keep it simple and stick to characters that started off as animated characters even if they seaguewaed into comic books and disqualify the ones that started off in comics and cross-pollinated into cartoons. So Bugs Bunny and Uncle Scrooge - Yes, Batman and Spider Man - No.
-
And does "top" been best or favorite? Subjective definitions that no one will agree on. Just submit a ballot and debate like rational humans.... yes I know that is nigh impossible. I don't have a problem with an anime character or a Simpsons character winning.
-
Then they should keep the content permanent because it sounds like a viable alternative to deathmatch PvP.

Easy Rep if you have a clan or friends to help out. PoE is fairly simple for 40s and there are vids of fireteams killing Skolas almost instantly with Sleeper Stimulant shots after doing the running around.. Matter of fact, there are vids of players soloing Skolas with SS and obliterating him before the encounter gets started.

There is even an achievement/trophy for doing this Yep. If you have the From Ashes DLC, you have an earlier opportunity to get the achievement than you normally would. Otherwise your first opportunity to hijack an Atlas mech is going to be at Grissom Academy. The first mech you fight at Grissom is a boss and you have to blow it up. The second mech you just commandeer and it doesn't count towards the achievement. There will be a third mech that you fight as the students are boarding the escape shuttle. Instead of fighting the Atlas with your own mech, use a weapon (preferably a sniper rifle) to shatter the canopy and then take out the pilot with a headshot. Then run to the mech and hit whatever action button shows up and you will dump the pilot and hijack the Atlas mech. Sometimes the action button entry will glitch because the quick time animation that dumps the dead pilot on the ground puts the body too close to the feet of the mech and prevents Shep from jumping into the cockpit.

I don't expect there to be any major DLC for Destiny coming out ever. Microsoft and Sony are slowly withdrawing support for major titles from previous gen machines. It will be cheaper for companines to dev for XBone only and a lot more profitable for M$ as they prod the last few 360 holdouts to buy current gen consoles if they want to keep playing popular franchises.

I will take glorified board speculation with a grain of salt. Destiny fans are doom and gloom prophets of the highest order.

It has more to do with the idea that the movie Krampus kills people. Being naughty gets you a helluva lot more than a lump of coal.

Hopefully the WHY IS THERE A SEQUEL TO CROUCHING DRAGON, GOD, WHY? people will shut up when they realize that CTHD is the third book of a series and this movie will be loosely based on the last novel, Iron Knight, Silver Vase. I really do wish some publisher would get around to getting Western audiences a translation of the Crane - Iron books. Donnie Yen will be fighting and Woo-Ping will be directing so I will be hitting up Netflix to check this out. The rumors that Zhang Ziyi refused to reprise her role as Jen are slightly false. She told the production company she'd come back if Ang Lee were directing, but CFG and Weinstein were looking to put more action into the film and hired Woo-Ping. The reason we're not getting a theatrical showing is because Regal Entertainment Group wasn't too keen on Weinstein's plan to simultaneously release the movie on Netflix and IMAX via RADIUS-TWC. REG thought the joint release was a betrayal of their Go Big Or Go Home mantra where they try to promote the theatrical experience as superior to On Demand programming via television, computer, or wireless device.

The first episode of The Expanse should be up on Syfy On Demand. Any list of top 40 animated characters that does not have Race Bannon in the Top 5 of the list has no credibility.

Oh wait, yes I do. One of the best workers in the business and THIS is what they have her do. Fuck this company everyday and twice on Sunday... Sorry man. Watching Sasha shake her ass was the only thing worth tuning in for.

The Big Patch is today. I won't be able to download it until tomorrow because I will be in Maryland getting in some QT with my girlfriend and the No Console rule is in full effect.

The whole point of bringing up CSJ was to elaborate on the fact that Jose's opponents ride a wave of familiarity / notoriety into title fights and folks seem to forget whose belt they're going after. It seems like Jose has to re-introduce himself to the public every time he defends his belt.

Haviland's death made the local news rounds in the Baltimore area. My girlfriend called me this morning and asked me if I knew who he was. RIP

Terror In The Aisles and It Came From Hollywood are both totally awesome!

We don't celebrate that at my house.... for good reason...

Not sure why Xbox people are still angry about that. We already know the score. Paradox is the daily today so NTTE challenge is up. It is also the 7th day of the month which means you can work on your Sleeper Stimulant quests.

I am by no means a McGregor fan, but this is an intriguing fight and I will be happy with whomever wins. If Aldo wins, he reminds the short sighted why he's the champ and mends his slightly tarnished name. It also annoys me how easily people forget how good Jose is and how many elite level fighters he has completely dismantled. If McGregor wins, we get a new champ who is talented as hell and whose smugness is extremely marketable. Dude is a polarizing figure and people will pay impressive amounts of cash money to either see him beat the shit out of someone or in the hope of watching him get the shit beat out of him by someone.

It is the 3rd quarter but this game is soooo fucking over. Steelers need this victory after the bullshit of the previous week that nearly drove me to alcoholism.

Television shows / episodes that fucked you up as a kid.
J.T. replied to J.T.'s topic in MOVIES & TV
Yep, that would be my buddy Michael Reaves that wrote that... Anytime that you run across an 80s or 90s animated show that seems particularly subversive or twisted, it's a pretty safe bet that Reaves is behind it. Hell, the man was able to make episodes of The Smurfs be actually disturbing, turn him loose on The Real Ghostbusters, Batman TAS, Blackstar, etc. and you were bound to get weirdass stuff including gratuitous mentions of Cthulhu or the Necronomicon. Centipede Press just put out a huge volume collecting every short story the man has written (and that's a lot over a thirty-year career), best investment of fifty bucks for entertainment that I can think of. So, OSJ. When my mortgage isn't kicking my ass so much and I finally take care of that thing for you, can you get my copy of The Shattered World autographed? -

The actual nuclear strike is hard to watch but Threads speculates on life after the bomb and that is what fucks you up. The nihilism just weighs on you and the ending is the stomach punch of all stomach punches. -
It happens nearly every time Aldo defends his title. People were on the Korean Zombie bandwagon at 163 and Jose went to work and reminded people why he's the champ.

"Upended" in the general sense. There is no way anyone would've expected a horror comedy to beat out three big releases that were built to be blockbusters (one of them a Pixar kids movie) around this time of year. Kevin Smith can't feel too encouraged since his Krampus movie has to follow behind this one.

Any of the zillion people who saw Trick 'r Treat and said "why the fuck was this terrific movie put on the shelf for years and finally concealed in a direct-to-video release, rather than given the proper theatrical rollout that it deserved"? Of course horror fans would know. Point being that It is unusual for a horror movie, albeit a black comedy, to do well this time of year, especially a horror movie thematically tied to Christmas. Krampus just didn't do well; it upended Mockingjay Pt. 2, Creed, and The Good Dinosaur for the number one spot.
