The Mueller Report is out. You'll be surprised to learn that following the National Football League's investigation into the National Football League's actions in the Ray Rice matter, the National Football League has cleared the National Football League of any wrong doing. In keeping with recent precedent in the Ray Rice matter, the league has announced that they will be suspending Adrian Peterson for eight more games. (I may have made part of that up.)

Totally agree. I was pretty into Destiny when I first got it (though that might have had as much to do with the fact that I got the white Destiny bundle and, well, it was the only game I had), and it's fun and everything. But they should have put a sticker on it that says "We put absolutely zero thought into the single-player portion of this game." I still don't like the multi-player as much as say, Mass Effect 3, either. Probably because ME3 is co-op rather than competitive and I don't necessarily have the time to invest into Destiny's multi-player to get to the point where I'm not just cannon fodder.

I'm pretty sure you end up with three of each, plus your character. I'll spoiler it and someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

BOHICA, Lions fans. NFL admitted to Lions today that officials missed a hold on Ndamukong Suh on the 4th-down conversion from Tony Romo to Jason Witten with 6 minutes left in the game (after the controversial Brandon Pettigrew play and before the Dallas TD). Had holding been called, it would have put Cowboys in 4th and 16 on Detroit side of the field. Dallas would have punted and Detroit still would have the lead. One person said that this is "even worse than the PI call/no call."
-
Now on NFL Network he is saying the PI was questionable, but the holding definitely should have been called. The most egregious part of the whole sequence is still Dez Bryant running out onto the field to argue with the official and the officials ignoring it. That should have been 15 yards on the spot.

Nah, Minnesota's at TCF Bank Stadium again for 2015. The new place will be ready for the 2016 season opener. Though the potential return/reintegration of Adrian Peterson would make for a compelling storyline, I guess. And the camera seemed to like Mike Zimmer when the Bengals were on Hard Knocks a couple of seasons ago.
-
Teams the NFL could force to do Hard Knocks this pre-season, because they 1) haven't made the playoffs the last two years and 2) won't have a new head coach. Cleveland Houston Jacksonville Minnesota New York Giants St. Louis Tampa Bay Tennessee Washington

Here's how I'd feel if I were a Lions fan right now:
-
I picked Dallas to win this game, but seriously, I haven't seen a team get that screwed over by the officiating since overtime of the 2009 NFC Championship Game. Same head referee, not surprisingly.
-
Seriously, Earl Hebner thinks this game is fixed.
-
So Dez Bryant is playing this afternoon. Yeah. . .linebacker covering Dez Bryant is probably not optimal.
-
Draft update: Cincinnati locks up pick #21 Pittsburgh locks up pick #22 If Dallas wins the Sunday late game, Detroit will pick #23 and Arizona will pick #24. If Detroit wins the Sunday late game, Arizona will pick #23 and Dallas will pick #24.

"Zurlon Tipton" sounds like a Bond villain or something. But he's apparently ahead of Trent Richardson on the depth chart, so there's that.

Stuart Scott was a big part of what's pretty much the gold standard time of SportsCenter. . .Scott & Eisen, Patrick & Olbermann. . .nobody since has even come close. He had a huge impact on the way sports is presented today, nobody can deny that. RIP, Mr. Scott.

Nah. . .spread in most places was Panthers -6 or 7, and the Over/Under was at about 37.5. Teh gamblorz should have been fine regardless.
-
And why, exactly, are the Panthers throwing the football?
-
I think the most important thing that we've learned from this game so far is that Bruce Arians really, really, really, really hates Logan Thomas. Seriously, how bad does he have to be for Arians to keep running Lindley out there?
-
Their two touchdown drives covered a combined 47 yards. That helps.
-
Joe Webb on line 2.

I'm deeply concerned you thought Gruden was good at one point. The longer he's been on TV the more it raises questions about how he ever coached a team to a Superbowl. Or ties his shoes in the morning. Well, he coached Tony Dungy's team to a championship. Then everyone realized they hated him and everything fell apart.

Dan Orlovsky is going to log onto his computer somewhere and find out he's trending on Twitter.

Jerricho Cotchery is in his 23rd season in the NFL, isn't he? Or does it just seem that way?
-
Fozzy Whitaker? GOOD GRIEF, THE RUNNING BACK'S A BEAR!

I actually don't miss Marrone that much. The D made up for ALOT of bad coaching on his part. I just don't want Schwartz. . . .What they really need is a coach with a aggressive mindset. Haven't had that in FOREVER. Once they find a QB, they have two young studs at WR in Watkins and Woods, and need a gameplan to match. . . . Apparently the Bills have asked for permission to speak to Pep Hamilton. He's a guy I was hoping that Minnesota would interview last season (but I'm happy as hell with Mike Zimmer). Not sure what kind of an offense he wants to run or how much of his current success he owes to Andrew Luck, but he's gotta be a damn sight better than Jim Schwartz.
