  1. I did Legend last night for pattern 4 and the third perk catalyst. I lucked out with guys who needed both as well so it was mostly smooth sailing, just occasional combat issues. I didn't realize Bungie patched out the cheese spot for the boss fight last update. Had I known that I would have brought Wish Ender or Revision Zero.
  2. Opening segment setting up the handicap match against the Bloodline was fine. Garza/Carrillo vs. Cruz/Wilde was good, very nice showcase for both teams. Bayley/Bianca was damn good stuff. Dug how focused in the ring it was, and the little teases of dissension with Damage Ctrl were done well here. Definitely one of the batter Bayley/Bianca matches. Only wish the crowd was stronger. Hayes/Theory was another good showcase for Hayes until the Spanish Fly mishap. Sounds like Hayes will be fine, but Theory got hit pretty bad. Hopefully he will be ok. The Butch/Bate segment was nice and a bit more grounded than the norm. I like that we are seemingly transitioning Butch back into Pete Dunne. Solo/Jimmy vs. Orton/AJ/Knight was good fun. Dug Solo taking out Orton early, Knight and AJ at odds, and Orton's eventual big return and sae for the win. The post match with Solo getting taken out was a nice bit of revenge for the faces. The matches were all good though the unfortunate ending for Hayes/Theory makes it something that doesn't need to be watched. Bayley/Bianca on the other hand is well worth catching, and probably the best tv match in WWE so far this early into the year. The segments were generally fun and/or solid. Good show aside from the injury/stoppage.
  3. Caught the last two episodes. 4th was pretty solid. The final unfortunately was rushed. Not terrible but easily could have used another 15-20 minutes for some transitional stuff and proper reconciliation scenes. Enjoyed the series overall though it was far from perfect. Its not a full return to the darkness we had in the netflix MCU shows, but there is some of that there. Makes me curious how Daredevil's new season turns out even more, especially with where Fisk was in Echo.
  4. 3 episodes in on Echo so far and I like it. Its not a show that feels needed per say, but it has been done well so far. Will finish up later tonight. The cameo in the first episode was a nice surprise.
  5. Love is a strong word, but I am enjoying him more each week. He is really coming into his own with this character.
  6. Blair/Lyons was decent. Bron/Corbin vs. Gallus was solid. I kind of like that Corbin and Bron get along a fellow dickheads. The Lola/Lyra segment was fine as a setup to the battle royal and tag match. Briggs/Mensah was nice while it lasted. Tony/Stacks vs. OTM was good. OTM are solid power guys and have a nice spin in the their style to stands out. This was a good showcase for them. Tony and Stacks just continue to get better as a team as time goes on. I love how Stacks is a weapon for Tony to toss half the time. Cora/Gigi was decent while it lasted. Its been interesting seeing how much better both Gigi and Jacy seem to get away from each other. Its clear in hindsight the two just didn't have good chemistry beyond their characters. Axiom/Frazer vs. Hank/Tank was good stuff, exactly the type of speed vs. hoss styled match you would hope for from these guys. The Tiffany/Fallon segments mostly fell flat for me. Would have been more interesting if Stratton actually succeeded at them in manner that annoyed Fallon. Hopefully both move on to something more interesting. Lexis/Dragon was pretty solid. Its been nice to see King breathe in his gimmick more and more each week in and out of the ring. Thought this was probably his best showcase ring wise so far. The post match with Oba Femi cashing in his Breakout contract and winning the belt was kind of neat to see. Don't think Oba is really ready to be a champ, but its also nice to see NXT moving forward with the newer wrestlers. Hopefully the Oba sees some good growth and has a solid reign. Nothing great, but the tag matches all delivered alongside Lexis/Dragon. Segments could have been better but served their purposes. Solid show.
  7. And like I figured the "finale" actually did happen. Not sure why Tassi thought they would delay it 5 months. No reason to wait that long, especially since we are likely to have some sort of mission at the end of the season to set up a transition into The Final Shape. Still with that 4-5 months away I'm not sure what I am going to be doing in the meantime D2 wise. Maybe I will finally try a raid or two.
  8. Would be surprised if anyone but Becky won the women's match barring something injury/incident related happening. They have been blatantly keeping Becky and Rhea apart the past year sans occasional small faceoffs when passing during interviews. Men's match feels like its going to Cody or Punk barring a similar case of injury/incident unless the Rock pops up around 27-30.
  9. Random info was a part of the patch notes for today's update.
  10. Ciampa/Finn was solid. DIY vs. Judgeday Day should be fun. Kofi/Kaiser was good. The countout was done well and the post match brawl turned murder attempt of Kofi by Kaiser was even better. KCs vs. Chelsea/Piper was solid. Hope the KCS show up on Smackdown soon. Looking forward to them vs. Kabuki Warriors or Fyre & Dawn. Becky's promo backstage was a solid comeback after her loss to Nia. Definitely feels like a match we will return to. The Nia/Rhea segment was decent though I wish it was building to a straight up title match at Royal Rumble instead of the Wrestlemania tease. Make that Becky/Rhea unless they will give them a PLE main event later in the year. Truth's Judgement Day video was spectacularly dumb in the best of ways. JD/Miz not long after was pretty solid and fun all around. Dug Miz using Truth to set up the crowd to boo JD and Dom even more. Ivar/Otis was short but sweet with plenty of good big men action. The Seth/Jinder segment was effective in setting up their match though Jinder is just not someone I have much interest in seeing in 2024. Cody/Nakamura took a bit to get going but was good by the end. Every match was solid at worst. Kaiser/Kofi and it's post match brawl was probably the standout. The segments were mostly decent though that R-Truth vid was the standout that deserves to be seen. Pretty solid show.
  11. I suggest waiting for the last two catalyst quests so you can do those up until the Legend part and complete all of them with just one legend run. I did with the first two just by chance and got both. Also make sure you use a team that will lead you to the chests or at least give you time to pick them up. The ones that appear each week past the first chest are the general stat upgrades.
  12. Mariah was fine in the ring from what i have caught of her Stardom run so far. Her strength is more in her ability to be a character. She used the tombstone as a finisher during her Stardom run. Not sure why she switched to something else.
  13. I think AJ just caught Knight with the pele kick. She was there around the same time as Deonna Purrazzo. I think they were even going to be a team, but injuries kept derailing that. I'm not sure Rachel ever made tv when she was actually in development.
  14. And keep in mind that was the physique he went with after getting sick for several years and turning towards martial arts. He was even bigger when he actually started wrestling.
  15. Santos/Owens was good. Santos got a pretty nice showcase with how much control he was given and KO havign to fight constant comebacks. Dug Cruz and Wilde taking out Los Lotharios before the match ebgan. Logan Paul was decent on commentary and in riling the crowd up at random moments. Made the post match forearm from KO pop the crowd all the bigger. The Lashley/Profits promo was alright and a solid way to refocus them a bit as faces before serving them up to Kross's new faction. I'm happy to see the Authors of Pain back. They were a good bruiser team in NXT. Even more happy to see Ellering with them. The Authors can talk fine on their own, but they were at their best with Ellering. Not sure how far this group can go with so many other factions and Kross as the head guy. Still willing to give it a shot as Kross is the only real weak point. Io/Mia was pretty good. The two work well together, and they used much of it to showcase Yim since she doesn't get chances like this often. Butch/Bate vs. Pretty Deadly was good. Happy to see Tyler Bate finally hit the main roster. Wasn't sure that was ever happening. Thought he looked good here, and they did well to give him plenty of attention and moments to show off. AJ vs. Orton vs. Knight was pretty damn good with tons of good action and the crowd into all three guys. The no contest finish would normally annoy me, but I thought it worked well here with pissing off the crowd at the Bloodline and setting up a 4-way for the Rumble. Only thing I feel they should have done was at least announce that to the live crowd. Every match delivered here and the segments were generally decent-solid. The build to the Royal Rumble and the general changing landscape of Smackdown was nice. Good show overall.
  16. DDM disbanding came earlier than expected. I figured it was happening regardless of giulia leaving or not just due to Maika winning the red belt. Will be interesting to see what replaces it. I suspect if Maika forms a a new faction we might see at least one or two people from other factions leave theirs for it. Nice to see Stardom running another US show. Hope it does well.
  17. Pretty sure the actual story break is after next week. We still need the final egg.
  18. Lyra/Blair was good, one of the better showings both women have had in NXT. Dug how Blair's missed knee into the table played into the finishing stretch and her selling in general. The post match brawl with Lola, Elektra, and Tatum was fun. LWO vs. NQCC was good. Much of this was just a great showcase for Cruz and Wilde, but everyone played their parts well and that rope launch the LWO pulled was amazing and something no one will forget. Roxanne/Arianna was pretty solid. Loved the post match with Roxanne losing her shit to the point where the ref reversed their decision of her victory. Roxanne having anger issues is an interesting direction to go, and I just love how Arianna reacts to everything in her matches and segments. She is decent in the ring but is pure character and plays it so well. Tiffany/Fallon was good stuff. The two have excellent chemistry and play off of each other well in the ring. Disappointed Stratton lost though if only because the promo vid before served once again as a good reminder that Fallon was the asshole who started this feud. Still both women's reactions post match were perfect. Oba/Riley was decent. Dug the finish with how Oba went into to beast mode. Trick/Waller was solid. Owens making the surprise appearance at the end to mess with Waller was neat. Pretty solid with the women's matches, Trick/Waller, and 6-man tag all delivering to varying degrees. Not sure what was the best between Tiffany/Fallon, Blair/Lyra and LWO/NQCC, but all three are well worth checking out. Thought the segments were pretty solid as well. I continue to like the Lyra/Tatum relationship. Its creepy and some of the better character building both women have gotten the past year. Jacy taking charge in the Chase U story was amusing to see, and I look forward to seeing where it heads. The build to the Dusty Cup was nice to see and I like Bron/Corbin and Frazer/Axiom joining in. Fun show overall.
  19. I'm still surprised people keep assuming Priest actually cashes in. I like him, but he and Finn are the least over members of Judgement Day. Its always felt like Priest won the briefcase to give the group a little extra ammo but would ultimately drop it to Cody or someone else. I'd be happy for Priest if he actually cashed in and won, but it would make little sense with so many other guys who are more over and feel like bigger stars on Raw.
  20. Surprisingly managed to hit flawless on a Mercy card late last night. Had no real expectations of success and did it mostly just to kill time. Always bothers me just a little when I somehow succeed during the times I give the least fucks. Even in my last game when I figured I would lose for sure I somehow came out the best player. I murked an entire team in one round and it just felt wrong as I should not have managed that.
  21. Mostly interested in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire and Deadpool 3. Everything else I either need to see trailers first or am only so-so interested in right now.
  22. Becky/Nia decently good overall. Really dug the finish and that Nia beat Becky clean. It will be a fun challenge for Becky to climb when they presumably run it back during Becky's WM build for the Rhea match. Kofi/Jey vs. Kaiser/Vince was good up until poor Vinci was knocked loopy. Good on the ref catching it so fast and stopping the match. Still a shame to see it end that way. The Miz TV segment and subsequent Awesome Truth vs. Dom/JD match was super fun all around. truth was a goofy treasure not sure where to tag and trying to tag in from the Judgement Day side at one point. Was a perfect way to perk the crowd up. Rhea/Ivy had its rough moments but built into something good and was a great showcase for Ivy despite the loss. Ivy always showed potential in NXT, but she never really got matches that tested her outside of a match against Meiko for the UK women's title a couple years back. Was worried to see Ivy thrown out like this with so little build against Rhea but she stepped up well and developed some solid chemistry with Rhea as the match went on. Ivy had a nice mix of power and athleticism and it was nice seeing built to and shown off here alongside Rhea's reactions whenever Ivy got one over on her. Hopefully Ivy gets more build and chances to show off like this. Skipped most of the Rock/Jinder segment. It felt kind of predictable, and I lost interest in a Rock/Roman match years ago. Shayna/Zoey vs. Nattie/Tegan was kind of blur for me as I was eating at the time. Seemed ok but nothing noteworthy. The club scene building to the KCs rematch with Chelsea and Piper was fine. Seth/Drew was pretty good. Dug the pacing with a bit of extra desperation from both guys. It made the finish work out alright for me since a big part of Drew's recent story has been being his own worst enemy yet unable to realize/admit it. The anime style stuff with Shinsuke has been going on since the Seth feud. His whole presentation has changed and just been wonderful for months now.
  23. Curious, why does everyone keep assuming Andrade is going back to WWE when he has been very vocal about wanting to wrestle in NJPW again?
  24. You can try it pretty easily as a solo but it won't be easy or likely to work out well unless you are good and/or lucky. The lack of the flawless pool means your opponents are far more random. One game might be relatively easy and then the next you are up against high level sweatlords who rarely leave PvP. RIPPA probably has the right idea if using in game fireteam finder. At the very least it increases your chances of finding more chill players who won't flake out when shit goes badly. As far as cheaters goes it seems to be the normal amount and as always is far more of an issue for PC players than console players.
