I can’t properly put into words my annoyance that Punk vs. Kingston is going down in my hometown and I’m going to work through it.

Oh, man! That's like working through a groin injury and accidentally getting kicked in the junk. Hope that helps.

  2. This is the first I've come across Havukruunu, but there sure has been an influx of Finnish metal bands over the past two and a half decades, who actually sing in Finnish. And there's such a wide variety of them these days. Almost any metal sub-genre and there's at least one or two of them using Finnish language. Surprising and cool, even though 25 years ago, I had serious doubts that Finnish could be used successfully in any genre whatsoever, but I've since changed my tune quite drastically.

  3. Triceps are looking jacked @Gordberg, good job! Keep at it! I missed the entire last week, due to not feeling well enough to work out, but I went back at it today. Usual Monday routine, but started with 66 lbs with the pull-up, dip, reverse-shrug combo and ended with 22 lbs, so a lot less rounds and reps this week. Still felt harder than usual, so I guess I'm still not totally ok. Did the chest flies, lat-pull down and push down combos with the old, less rigid resistance bands, so those were lighter too. Some light lateral side raises and curls between some of the sets. You could tell I took a week off, since the pump came relatively fast and was intense for a little bit there. Yeah, not expecting any new records set this week, but I'll do what I can, and hope I keep feeling good enough to resume the normal routine again this week.

Except Mark Henry who was like "well that was odd anyway".  I guess when you are that big zombie dont mess with you

Part of it may be that even the zombies realize what the implications of a zombie Mark Henry would mean for everybody, including them, and thusly are like "yeah, fuck that noise!"

  5. Zoe Stark was a damn machine in that match, as was Io, but she was holding her knee after the match and looked as she was assessing the damage lying on her back when the match was over. If that was just selling, it was very understated. If she really blew out her knee or something, then the match with Ivy Nile may end up never taking place, just like PAC vs Murphy! I sure hope it's not as bad as it seemed!

Johnny and Dexter were awesome together. Gargano was nice enough to NOT put any of those cameras in the bedroom though. It's nice that he learns from his mistakes!

Toxic sweep happened. I figured the masked person had to be either KLR or Kai. I thought Kai was main roster bound? Guess not, then.

Slept through the men's title matches, so I need to go back another time.

Yeah, but they were at their best on this ?

Yeah, I was pretty sure you were going to bring this one up. I think I also had this one for a little bit, or am I confusing it with the first Moonspell release? Definitely had that. Maybe it was both.

I'm stoked for the new 1914 album coming out today.  They're my favorite World War I themed death metal band.  Probably best known for this:

I love bands that have very specific themes.  Any other ones I'm blanking on right now?

Finnish Metal pioneers Amorphis have forged a nigh 30-year career out of Kalevala-themes.

Running Wild, the original band of pirates! I was listening to Death or Glory just the other day. What a wonderful album.

I just snagged this for five whole dollars in a storage-clearing sale and it is worth WAY more. Wrathprayer is alright but Force of Darkness is INCREDIBLE. "The Order" is fucking epic and will destroy your soul.

Sick, sick art too, on the outside and inside

That is one spectacular Running Wild album right there! The only one I had by them, until I had none. Then I bought 2005's Rouges en Vogue, which remains one of my favorite metal albums to this day.

Was it transmission fluid? You sound bionic.

Hydraulics, probably. Isn't that right, Curt? That's usually what happens to me...I mean, no it was probably human blood. That's what happens to me, when my cover, er...I mean skin, has holes in it! Damn it!

Until CM Punk wrestled in them, I'd never heard the term long bois/longboi before. I like the tights look on Punk. Funny how he alternates between the tights and the trunks.

Yeah, those look like what most of us Finns start wearing around this time of year, UNDER our actual pants. I wasn't aware of the term, either, but I busted them out about a month ago, at least!

He was involved in the Brock suspension angle on Friday and teased out a potential future match on IG later.

And Brock trying to outpower Cesaro for 10-12 minutes would be the bee's knees.

Good. That's a match that has eluded us for nearly a decade now. It's about time those two would get it on!

She's not Cesaro, but it feels a bit Cesaro Section-ish. She manages to get across that she enjoys what she does, and she is a lot of fun to watch be ragdolled. With that said, I haven't really understood what her post-Riott Squad look is supposed to tell us about who she is.

Speaking of, WHERE is Cesaro, btw? I don't recall anything since the Rollins and Reigns matches. Not the shoulder again?

This is my exact opinion.  Any match that has a top rope brainbuster should end with the top rope brainbuster.  What the fuck else can you do to stop someone that gets up from a top rope brainbuster?  Unless you stab them, shoot them, or use some sort of improvised explosive, I'm not going to buy it.

Aside from the mentioned methods, If a top rope brainbuster wouldn't work, I'd probably go for the 'nads and then, if that didn't work, I'd just run away.

Hey, @The NaturalI know you've been through a lot and you seem like a really incredible guy.  So after talking about it with some on Discord I got you a Cameo from a special somebody and hope this finds you well.  Special thanks to @Craig H and @Sammo~!for helping contribute, really appreciate that.

What a wonderful thing to do! Great way to show that there are ways to use modern techonology for nice things! You are good people, for organizing this. You can also tell that it was greatly appreciated, so excellent work, guys!

Will Hobbs is really good. It’s a bummer they had him lose another big match, especially to a guy whose gimmick I think is starting to get a little tiresome. Maybe it’s just me but it doesn’t sound like he’s as over as he once was.

Anna Jay vs Britt Baker was okay. Jay’s strikes are terrible but I saw she just had her 20th match a couple of weeks ago, so it’s crazy she’s as good at the things she is good at and has time to improve.

Andrade vs Pac was even better than the first match, very awesome and worth the time.

Anyone who knows anything about me, knows that I think PAC is the F'n man! If this match was as good or better than the first one, then it's a F'n keeper! I need to see more AEW, stat!
