  1. If we’ve lost Wilson I consider that done. Losing a game or 3 will be a formality if he’s/once he’s gone.
  2. My Seminoles trying to ruin their own lives again. It was 22-0 because we ran the ball and didn’t quit running it until it quit working. So yeah that’s when you go ahead and pass, but you don’t sell out to it. Now it’s 29-17 but only because the 1 time we ran the ball Benson broke it for a 62 YD TD. In the meantime Wilson got hurt and Travis almost got hurt, and it’s getting chippy. Watch we’re going to lose somebody else if they don’t go on and run this out.
  3. Ain’t it the truth. I also said that numbers don’t lie, but they don’t tell the whole truth of every matter. Another thing I say is that numbers don’t lie, but it’s not a math problem it’s a game.
  4. You have to be able to step up and throw if nothing else. Daniel Jones, for all the hell he is, can do that when he has the opportunity to plant his foot first for heck’s sake. That doesn’t make him great but it makes him cover the first basic thing. He didn’t have that opportunity yesterday. Jimmy G had that opportunity the Sunday before last in that game. He just didn’t do it and we discussed that IIRC. Mac Jones had even more time to simply step up and attempt a throw this Sunday and didn’t do it. Sometimes it is only a single second that you have time to step up I know, but all the quarterbacks do it. Zach Wilson can do it. I mention him just to further show the standard by which quarterbacks can step up and throw are measured, which is not very high. But there are 2 guys that I know of who can’t do it and the OL gets blamed. Then when the OL really is the main problem on a team it’s ignored.
  5. It doesn’t matter if he sucks or not with that OL. The 3 best quarterbacks in the world could be on the Giants and the results would be the same. That OL was that bad against a defense that’s not exactly great. If I were offered $10,000,000 to coach that team and was told to draft a quarterback I’d……make sure the buyout was part of the contract lol!
  6. I agree about coaches being in love with their own shit. Look at JIMBO FISHER. I’ll never forget the 2016 Clemson game. You just think the Malcolm Butler play or 3rd and 2 was bad.
  7. I agree supreme and this is coming from somebody who doesn’t just blame the quarterback, or give the quarterback all the credit. I think Mac Jones is a rare case of being the biggest problem on the team though. I forgot about the calls the Jets got in the first half but I still think they ultimately got robbed. As for the face mask I actually think it started in the endzone. Illegal hands to the face started before the endzone. He never grabbed the face mask until they were in the endzone.
  8. Adonis definitely would have got on in ECW or WCW. I recently watched the SWCW title win and it was great. I also remember that Adrian Adonis was the winner of an old poll on the old board…best fat guy worker lol! Then I read about some bloody match from SWCW TV being a bigger reason than remembered for the show being canceled on USA, leading to that whole thing. I’ll have to watch that one day.
  9. The Jets got robbed. That was timed about as well as the calls on the final drives of the last 2 SBs. Also they missed 1 of the worst holds ever on 1 of those 3rds and a mile. The Chiefs are to good for their own good…or something. They win these games that they don’t deserve to win, and they’ll lose 1 eventually, maybe even a few but that’s no big deal since all you have to do is win 7 games to make the playoffs. Then they’ll be playoff ready because they won’t let what happened to them in their last 2 playoff losses happen again ever IMO.
  10. Mac Jones benched! I was a fan of his and still am I guess. I don’t just not like people because they suck. We all suck at something, and it’s often job related lol! But I think it’s clear that he ain’t it. He’s not really been hurried and he’s still throwing interceptions, without many attempts because they’ve done every single thing possible to not pass. 3 TEs. Who tf does that? Somebody who knows their quarterback sucks tbh.
  11. I let it slide because it was 70 when they weren’t even trying. As for the Dolphins going forward, I agree they’re good but there’s also 1 other thing that needs to not happen again and it’s a touchy subject. Their coach needs to not get all Urban Meyer anxiety attack as soon as things heat up like he did last year.
  12. I forgot all about the Bears and Broncos wowowowwwwww the Broncos really are going to top themselves every week. They’re going to make Fields look like a star then go lose to Wilson and Hackett.
  13. O I know the Vikings were lucky aka overachieve. Those teams usually come back fresh and improve, and if they don’t it’s because a weakness is exploited. They look like they looked in 2010, talented but just somewhere else mentally and emotionally. They were fed up with their coach that year. I don’t know if anything going on like that with their new coach so I just don’t get it.
  14. Kirk is getting treated unfairly also imo, but he’s a Gozillionaire and is pretty good at tuning the rest out without looking to Jay Cutlerish about it. I did see the INT just now though. Something weird is wrong with the Vikings. A team that talented in year 2, coming off of an overachieving year 1 has never came out this flat. The Bills just got way too cute down there at the goal line. Allen bailed them out but they should have just ran it to start with on 1st and goal. If they keep doing that they’re going to slip up eventually.
  15. I wish the Bills and Dolphins were on SNF. It’s not that Zach Wilson sucks, it’s that he’s kicked while he’s down nonstop. I probably won’t even watch it. I know he does suck but there are alot of things wrong with the Jets. I don’t remember the 49ers or Cowboys just quitting when their quarterback went down last year. So add all that together and I would go as far as to say that Zach Wilson could attempt catchable passes if he had time to plant his foot and follow through with his arm, just as sure as I am that people would make excuses for Aaron Rodgers if it were him (granted that wouldn’t be the case with him because the team would be motivated imo). Now Bills and Dolphins wow…this is biggest game of the year so far just for the football of it all. No fabricated drama. None needed. I’m a huge fan of many guys on both of those teams even though they’re not my team. A bunch of those guys have missed some breaks but they’re finally on the fringe. It’s going to be sad for whoever loses this game for now, and for whoever loses in the playoffs again down the road.
  16. I can still do this today as I’ve explained many times when I’m in the mood to watch rasslin. We had a membership at a private video store that came and went and never another one. No Blockbuster, no Movie Gallery etc in my parents house. But that one video store was an influence because they had exactly 1 tape and you could probably guess which one it was, 1 of the few widely distributed tapes that came out of my mold of rasslin. It was GAB 89. I also rented Rambo II and Tour of Duty like 90 times. And Daddy rented Rambo III as a surprise and I marked out when he showed me it as hard as I ever did watching rasslin. That might have been the last thing we ever rented because the store was gone soon after. When I grew up I would shop at all the video stores and ask if they wanted to sell any of their wrestling videos. I never got anybody to sell me a thing. They would always say no because people still rented them.
  17. “When you’re trash, you don’t put it on somebody’s doorstep and ring the doorbell and expect them to be like HEEEEYYY!!!”
  18. As for the single moment I was hooked…hmmm…I guess the closest thing was Luger. I was 1 of those younguns who was obsessed with him immediately and turned him face. That’s a stretch though. I didn’t stop and proclaim pieces of my heart until I grew up. You might even say I was an ungrateful child but that was part of it.
  19. It was definitely the Sunshine Network at 2 AM. I used to try to stay up and watch it every weekend and I only made it once, for a recap show, but even it was better than the shit on Monday night at the time. It was 1999 I think, after WCW had finally ran me off for good and WWF was just the same old stuff. I was buying ppvs soon after and I went to the TV taping in Tallahassee.
  20. I’ve talked about what added up to have “made” me over time many times. It’s still making. It’s not cooking as fast as it did when I was obsessed with this stuff but it is still cooking. Hopefully 1 day we’ll have the whole meal made. I can’t for sure remember what I very first watched. It goes to far back. What I do remember, I remember watching knowing what was going on already which means I had already been watching similar to how we watched cartoons for a long time before we started remembering what we watched. That what I first remember was whatever was on broadcast TV in 1989. All of the NWA/WCW TV, some regional TV that I don’t remember and 1 WWF TV show that I thought was stupid. WCTV 6, Fox 31 and Fox 49 (I forgot the local names of the Fox stations) were the channels. Then every now and then my uncle would record stuff from cable.
  21. As for the Broncos, I feel bad for that OT out there busting his ass. He was genuinely dejected, not just football player mad. I don’t feel bad for Sean Payton though. I hate him lol! He’s topped himself every week so far. Losing to the Bears by 1 would top losing to the Dolphins by 50, complete with 70. Not really…but for meme’s sake I say it would because then the next week is HACKETT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. McDaniels going for the FG was going to work by design. I’ll give him that. They just got beat on the last clutch play they had to make, the 3rd down stop. The rest of it was just the result of the little bit of football left that had to be played by a team whose spirit was broken. I’ve always liked ole Jimmy G but he is really freaking bad, overshadowed only by guys who are bad with the added drama of their erratic play (Wilson, the other Wilson etc). Those plays all night where he was hurried, a good quarterback could have hit passes on those plays. Guy were open. It would have had to happened fast, but it would have happened with any good…not even great…quarterback.
  23. I know right…and cry about it. Don’t act like you’ll fight about it. That’s mean and nasty and coaches who do that just so happen to all vote a certain way in politics (seriously…wtf). Lee Corso’s brains are badder than Lou Holtz’s too.
  24. Lou Holtz is awesome and the whole thing was a joke. Ryan Day looked like a bigger girl than Urban Meyer calling out a 90 year old man smh.
