  1. They need to get rid of Bosh and try to pick up Carmelo to take his place. Also for the fact if you sign Anthony you would have 3 starting forwards on your roster and Bosh would seem to be the odd man out.
  2. The NSAC hearings are going to air live on UFC.com this afternooon. http://www.ufc.tv/video/nsac-commission-hearing-20140617
  3. If the Lakers weren't quite as screwed up he would seem like the perfect guy to take over the lead role with them since Kobe is clearly in his swan song years. They don't have the cap but him going to the Clippers would be cool, him playing alongside Griffin and Paul.
  4. Other then Sapp is there really any Heavyweight fighters out there that they can have Kimbo go against to where it won't be a complete destruction of Kimbo?
  5. Proof that no other actor could pull off Marty McFly then Fox is Eric Stoltz originally started the filming process as Marty before being replaced. Stoltz is a fairly competent actor who did a lot of teen roles back then so it's not like he wasn't a capable actor.
  6. Same with MJF as Marty McFly, that whole movie is so perfect that I wouldn't want anything changed about it. Could literally watch that movie every day of the week and never get tired of it.
  7. Harrison Ford as Han Solo or Indiana Jones, anyone else in the role just seems silly. Al Pacino as Michael Corleone, the studio wanted Robert Redford or Ryan O'Neal which both sound like terrible choices for the role.
  8. Rin Nakai at 5'1" seems really short to be fighting at 135, probably should be fighting at 115 if possible.
  9. Harrison Ford has been injured on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. The actor hurt his ankle on Thursday and was transported to a local hospital. "Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates," studio Disney said a statement to THR. A source tells THR that the actor, who reprises his role as Han Solo from the original franchise, was injured by the door of the Millennium Falcon, the spacecraft that his character pilots in the original films. The spaceship looks to be making a return in the sequel. Ford, 71, along with the rest of the cast of Disney and Lucasfilm's highly-anticipated project, is shooting under the direction of filmmaker J.J. Abrams in England. While details of the plot have been kept tightly under wraps, the story will be set 30 years after the events in 1983's Return of the Jedi. Star Wars: Episode VII features newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o and Max von Sydow, who will join the original stars of the saga, Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill. Episode VII is scheduled for release on December 18, 2015. [posted first by Kiddo716 in the Star Wars thread]
  10. I thought that it was taking place at UFC 178 which is in late September and already confirmed as being in Toronto a long time ago. Jones didn't want to fight until September.
  11. That guy on team Brazil better hope that the team gets a comeback win or he'll have crazed fans trying to kill him.
  12. Basically what they've been doing recently anyways, now they just made it official.
  13. Tim Boetsch vs. Brad Tavares and Shawn Jordan vs. Jack May are the first fights announced for the Bangor, Maine card.
  14. A female fight where both competitors actually have undefeated records, that's rare. Usually the women debuting in UFC have records like 8-5, 7-4 and so on so nice to see a rare chance that someone that's more then just card filler has been signed.
  15. I see what you did there, but T2 came out in '91.
  16. Possibility that Vitor will stay on this card after all. But if UFC books him a new opponent they better line up a replacement for Belfort just in case he doesn't get cleared on the 17th himself.
  17. I liked Salvation in part since you finally got to see Kyle Reese character for the first time since the original movie if you don't count the deleted scene from T2. Anton Yelchin really pulled off being believable as a younger version of Michael Biehn.
  18. Just as long as he doesn't start falling asleep while fighting like his buddy Paulo Filho did.
  19. This whole Wanderlei/Vitor/Chael situation is getting out of hand.
  20. Good thing that UFC 175 has an extra strong main card that they can afford to lose the fight entirely and still be a good PPV.
  21. But he's completely out of the woods as far as being in critical condition? He's got a long haul as far as rehab goes to being able to go back to work as a standup and all of that jazz is what I'm trying to say.
  22. So it's been a couple of days since the accident any word on Tracy's status yet?
  23. When he failed the tests wasn't it right after when he was denied the chance to use TUE for the fight? So if he was hoping to use TUE for the fight wouldn't he still have been using TRT up until that point? The re-tests when he was taking himself off of the stuff should be more accurate of a measuring tool.
  24. Well with Jones/Gus now taking place at 178 that leaves 177 without a main event. WW title probably is out of the line since Hendricks won't be ready by then, let alone you can't have Lawler/Brown fight in late July then expect them to fight for a title a month later. Probably leaves Dillashaw/Assuncao or Barao as the main event of 177.
  25. Surprised that they didn't try to have Norman Parke turn around and fight on the Ireland card after winning in Berlin. He's a Nortern Ireland guy but it's still from the same island.
