  1. Bret has said PLENTY of times he had no intention of showing up in WCW with the title. Bischoff has stated on Austin's podcast that he legally COULDN'T show up on Nitro with the belt, because of the lawsuit Vince had filed for gimmick infringement. Which leads one to wonder, why exactly would Vince really worry about the belt showing up on WCW television, since he had the lawsuit in his back pocket, and KNEW (or should've known at least) that WCW couldn't have Hart show up with the belt. I fully believe Vince wanted out of the contract for his own reasons. Bret spelled out the terms of the deal in the Wrestling with Shadows documentary. The money he was making, that Vince no longer had to pay after Montreal but supposedly couldn't afford before that anyways, quickly turned into Mike Tyson appearing at the Royal Rumble, a few Monday Night Raws, some press leading up to WM XIV, and of course WM. I think Vince immediately regretted giving Bret the contract, but felt he couldn't lose Bret at the height of the NWO formation.
  2. He added context. He stated that while the major sports leagues all stream better than WWE, all they stream are live games.
  3. It'll stand because of the belief that athletes are responsible for knowing what they put in their bodies. It's not that hard to read a label for cold medicine, these guys are all given lists of what is banned.
  4. Can't blame him. Those were two of the worst calls I've seen ever.
  5. According to falconarrow on reddit, it was Brie.
  6. Thanks for the responses, guys. Incidentally, the current president of the co-op is actually my dog-sitter. I floated this to her on the dl and she was so outraged she called all the rest of the membership committee, which was not what I wanted at all--I was trying to avoid escalation--but at least all of them thought that my neighbor's demands were laughable. Same comment from two of them: was he drunk? They were going to "take steps" or something but I walked them back from that for now. They're now insisting that the dog is allowed to play in the backyard, he just can't piss or shit there. I'm not sure how that would work, honestly. Anyway, I'm in a weird position where I have to choose between communicating with the rude husband or his politely passive-aggressive enabler wife. Not sure which is the better option. Just (politely) let them know you've already spoken to the co-op, you have their backing, and if you agree to keep the dog from doing it's business in the backyard, they should be willing to blaze somewhere else, and finish the painting. If not, let the (co-op) dogs loose.
  7. Come on guys, the "Van Terminator" is right there.
  8. I know this is a thread about hating athletes, but what do you have against Babyface?
