    So apparently, I am the only one who saw the Charles Rosa fight. If they are so worried about something crazy happening, you book Aldo vs. McGregor right away. The 3 round vs. 5 round thing is really irrelevant because the proverbial puncher's chance thing applies to virtually every round. If Dennis Siver is kicking people, it's going to be early on before McGregor starts bopping him in the head. Dennis Siver's style and endurance that we've seen over SEVEN years isn't magically going to change overnight and in a new weight class.

    According to an email sent to media yesterday morning, there is going to be some type of UFC announcement on 11/17. The only three guesses I've seen so far is UFC being sold (which Loretta Hunt said in a roundabout way), GSP's return, and GSP vs. Ben Askren since Askren retweeted some tweet related to the announcement. What I am basically saying is nobody knows.

    This pretty much sums up my thoughts. The last thing I would associate with the Amazing Spider-Man movies is The Dark Knight trilogy. Foxx's character was more Joel Schumacher than Nolan.

    Yeah, exactly. Nobody is seriously suggesting Batman/Superman won't do big bank. It's the rest of the DCU we're all wary about. They have yet to do a single halfway decent movie for any character outside of Batman and Superman - and even those movies are met with pretty divergent opinions as to their quality. A mediocre Batman movie will still be fairly successful, a mediocre Suicide Squad or Shazam will bomb hard. I think that's why they're going after guys like Ayer and Wan to direct. There is also the Kathryn Bigelow/Catherine Hardwicke shortlist rumor for directing the Wonder Woman movie. I am a little bit more optimistic than I was five months ago (not sure about Hardwicke tho) because I thought guys like Noam Murro were a shoo-in for a directorial spot down the line after 300: Rise of Eva Green's Tits.

    I thought it was clearly Narcisse. They really would gain nothing from killing Nucky. It's not like he had the leverage to do the same thing he did to the Jimmy, Commodore/Gillian, and Eli triumvirate. Nucky was going to get smashed no matter what he did. Torrio was a harmless, old man as Lucky pointed out pretty much. Capone put the fear of God in him already. Narcisse was the last piece left and still was sitting on Harlem. It was his turn to catch some lead poisoning.

    I believe Nucky thought they were shooters, but they turned out to just be cops. They sent guys directly to kill Narcisse. Hired assassins wouldn't be on the boardwalk waiting for Nucky to magically show up in a sea of people.
