  2. Maybe it's due to card space, but they probably should've put Quinonez vs. Morales on the Mexico City show next week. I had to make sure that wasn't a typo or bizarre Wikipedia edit.
  3. New fights: Levan Makashvili vs. Hacran Dias on the 6/27 Machida vs. Romero card Maximo Blanco vs. Mike de la Torre on the 7/12 TUF Finale card Paul Daley is fighting Dennis Olson on the Bellator 140 card Also, UFC 188 will be in movie theaters: http://mmajunkie.com/2015/06/ufc-returns-to-theaters-with-fathom-events-for-ufc-188-in-mexico-city
  4. If he gave himself the name "Lord of Bones", Tormund's actions were morally justified.
  5. Alex Oliveira and his cowboy hat FTW
  6. That actress who played the Wildling lady (you knew something bad was gonna happen to her) is gonna have one hell of a story to tell one day "And then what happened next, grandma?" "Well...then...a bunch of decomposed, undead kids attacked me and gnawed half my face off like they were morbidly obese people at a Golden Corral buffet." "......."
  7. If she took a fight maybe...every nine months between wrestling, there would be nothing wrong with that. However, she has to got realize that this ain't turning around. It will only get worse. If someone like Veronica Rothenhausler had to retire due to concussions and brain injuries, I can't imagine what someone like Baszler who has been in three or four times longer has been through. Shayna has taken some beatings, and those were the ones we saw.
  8. She would have better luck in ROH or PWG or whatever indy she wants to moonlight as a pro wrestling valet with. I dunno why she would want to sign up for more beatings.
  9. Lawler taking a little mini vacation did a create a bit of a logjam. I believe Jeremy Botter alluded to Hendricks waiting for his shot. So between those two things, Condit ain't getting a title shot for at least a year from now. Plus, you still have Woodley out there who beat Condit. I am not ruling out the situation that happened at 155 where Cerrone is getting one, but he would need more stuff to go in his favor. You had Khabib getting hurt a few times, other contenders losing, Pettis being dominated enough where it didn't warrant a rematch, Dos Anjos being hurt coming in and out of the title fight, and Cerrone putting together several wins. Condit is waiting for rematches to happen that might lead to more rematches.

  11. I have a feeling that he won't be for much longer.
  12. The UFC cut a bunch of people: Rocky Lee, Shane Howell, Alp Ozkilic, Vik Grujic, Shayna Baszler, Dylan Andrews, Louis Gaudinot, Tim Elliott, Tateki Matsuda, and Alex Torres Not seeing many people capable of returning. Maybe Gaudinot and Elliott because flyweight is still pretty thin at the bottom.
  13. God, Tormund going from being all gallant and badass to "well this ain't good..oh no....Whaaaa...OH SHIT....RETREAT!" was so brilliant. If the Emmys, Golden Globes, and whoever else is giving out awards for guest appearances, they got to give one to Kristofer Hivju based off this performance. The main White Walker at the end, who should be known and referred to as Undertaker Walker, was also great.
  14. The exterior shooting is finished, and I believe they are moving to Pinewood Studios. This means no more zany Batman and Joker footage.
  15. I would start calling out guys below me if I knew that was my ceiling, but that's a whole separate issue.
  16. If I was Condit's manager, I would place Condit far away from Woodley unless it is a five round fight. I dunno why Condit was such a prohibitive favorite (at least with media and fans) over Woodley at UFC 171. I thought Woodley, who has shown to be more defensively aware since Strikeforce closed shop, would basically land the more telling shots with Condit and win a tight 29-28 decision. Turns out, he was able to do more than that against Condit. As long as Tyron doesn't have to go 25 minutes, I would pick Woodley over Condit everytime.
  17. We got our a cameo from our favorite doctor Marcio Tannure. I'm pleased. So does Condit rematch Woodley or fight the Matt Brown/Tim Means winner in like October?
  18. Lentz and Do Bronx should be forced to fight every 3 months just for the hell of it. It's going result in Oliveira winning by sub everytime, but still needs to happen.
  19. KJ Noon's apathy before getting choked out was amazing. That is a dude who truly doesn't give a shit about fighting.
  20. Bektic trounced Martins like expected. Time to move him on to bigger and better things.
  21. Amir Khan is so susceptible to the overhand right that it should be a priority to set that punch up every round. His style puts him at risk everytime even against non-punchers like Algieri.
  22. Watching the weigh-in, Do Bronx didn't looked bad for getting down to 144 with his frame. Now, the girls in the strawweight fight? Totally different thing. Almeida reportedly had to get down from 150. Ju Thai looked virtually emaciated.
  23. https://instagram.com/p/3RyZ0BoqD8/ "Hi guys...I'm just gonna hang out up here."
  24. HAHAHA..a person of color in a Woody Allen movie. Now, that's hilarious.
