Heard a bit of news coming out the Meltzer Fan Q&A on F4W: A possible fight for UFC 200 is Henderson vs. Bisping II Update: On the the actual Observer show, Meltzer said the fight is still possible, but Henderson is lukewarm (lukewarm being the word I would choose to shorten this up) about the fight because he isn't sure he can top that win. -

A film with Eminem, 50 Cent, and Rita Ora. Who carries that film acting wise?

\ Weigh-in crowd at the MGM was 11,500. I believe that is also the capacity of the entire Mandalay Bay Events Center.

You know he was suppose to star in this film instead of Jake Gyllenhaal, right? How was that even possible?

I loved Spy so I can't really shit on the movie because of one photo. I'll roll with Paul Feig until I have good reason otherwise.

UFC 200 will be on July 2, 2016 at the new MGM arena set to open next year. -
Mr. T. is probably the best performance in that movie, and he isn't as good anywhere else. I was having a conversation with a friend about what sports movie scene would have been the biggest story in real life. My pick is when Mr. T. insulting Rocky's wife at his statue dedication. If you watch the Richard Belzer thing, you can tell Hogan and Mr. T were like the pinnacle of macho attitude that predated the MMA and boxing Affliction T-shirt wearing/I do Crossfit on the weekends bro. That's why Thunderlips and the Southside Slugger work. Now if you try to place that in a bunch of other movies, it's going to look way out of place. Fortunately for Hogan, he could cheese it down because of his gimmick and slide into a PG rated movie.

I very much agree, he's going to get it and it'll be spectacular. But it's amazing how despite people knowing he's an asshole and married many times they still love him. He's fake as anything and not even good at what he does. But then again soccer moms love Dr. Oz despite him being a fake as well. There's a lot of turning the brain off with the viewership of these shows. That and people really don't try to reference where people come from prior to them showing up on a mainstream platfrom. He went from being a popular black standup who only did black rooms to being able to do other rooms based on what hosting the Apollo, having a minor TV sitcom, and doing the Kings of Comedy did for his career. Then after that, he was able to have a nationally syndicated radio show targeted towards young black people and religious, older black people. Once he finally got the chance to be on a bigger stage, people did not look into the fact that he started sabotaging other comedians' careers after he gained that early success. If you listen to other comedians who spent their time with Harvey on the road, they do not speak glowingly about him AT ALL. If you were funnier than him, you could not open for him or he would cut your time down. Also, in the case of what happened with Bernie Mac, it really showed how much of a fake he was. When the Kings of Comedy tour started, Bernie Mac was the opener IIRC and Steve was the headliner. Then, as the tour rolled on, Bernie was killing it while Steve Harvey was eating his ass bad on stage. This forced the movie version to have Steve opening the show and the host with Bernie being the fourth guy out on the stage. He was really resentful about Mac getting that success even though Bernie had been around as long as him and been a comedy legend and pioneer in Chicago. Bernie was the exact opposite of Steve in that young comedians from Chicago or anywhere else could be around him if they were funny and had a chance to grow their career. The resentment Steve had for Bernie pretty much ended their relationship on bad terms up UNTIL Bernie Mac died. Yet, Steve acted like they had been friends the entire time and was there to the very end. I get when people die to let bygones be bygones. This still doesn't mean you can try to change the entire narrative of a relationship, especially considering he tried to take his role in Ocean's Eleven and do other shitty stuff to sabotage Bernie Mac's career. Steve Harvey is an all time dirty and fake motherfucker, but you're average housewife isn't going to research or care to look that up. For everyone else, if it's not on Twitter or a Deadspin article, they're probably not going to care.

I'm pretty sure the Kongos song was first in the film Holy Motors. Then, a couple years later, EVERYONE and their mom decided to use it. It's a four year old song by a South African band while Imagine Dragons is a pretty popular band over here right now.

It's still too early to tell for me just because I'm intrigued to see how much of this is the UFC's brass, Novitzky, and/or USADA. I'm also interested to see how much push back there is over the next few months by the fighters. I mean I expected the lengthy suspensions actually, but it only matters if the fighters expected that. A lot of the fighters wanted the sport to be cleaned up. Well, here is the UFC's answer for cleaning it up. Right now, if they don't let you go, you're staying with them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they do have matching rights in these contracts. Plus, Bellator really cannot sign every fighter that falls between the cracks. They still have limited card space as of right now. If you're a can't miss prospect who needs a ton of seasoning, then you definitely have choices. Otherwise, you're risking being a Bellator washout who basically becomes a MMA journeyman until you wind up on a season or two of TUF. The fact that some of the guys released by Bellator have not been picked up yet speaks volumes to the current state of MMA. Five or six years ago, someone like Julio Cesar Neves would get every opportunity to try to solidify himself as a prospect. Now, he has to go back to the Brazilian regional circuit and bust a few more heads before getting another shot anywhere. If he loses a split decision or something of that nature, he is super fucked then. Also, how much of a difference is there in "let me make 3k/3k with my sponsors to fight on Spike.com" and "let me make 10k/10k and take the 25 hundred with to wear Reebok"? I think fighters have this wishful thinking where they hope to be the next Conor McGregor or Jon Jones where people believe they can be a star after two fights. I think for this to change, the Coker era of Bellator has to make a star from stratch.

Come on, man. He met the girl who shot the video of his murder when he went to that store. Also he went to beg for his job back. Try to keep making an honest buck lest he repeat the same mistakes that got him sent to prison. Oh yeah, I know that. I was just saying that's probably a scene someone would call mundane. But yeah, I am not really feeling Southpaw either. I'm still trying to figure out why they're calling it Southpaw since everyone in the trailers is standing orthodox. Maybe I missed something.

TBH I don't think anyone is arguing the number of women Cosby raped vs. anyone else. One is bad enough. I was saying that I wasn't going to rant about my disappointment or outrage because I know this guy's track record already and saw the facade that people put their faith in. Personally, I don't really allow myself to feel disappointed about people in the entertainment industry just because it's easy to be disappointed (from a fan standpoint) no matter how big or small the issue is. Hence, the examples I used with the black entertainers. How it turned into smoking weed = as bad as rape, only Reed can answer that. The Barker example is used because Reed felt that I needed to feel like I want to stab Cosby in the trachea and crush his windpipe. We've already had sufficient drilling into Cosby already. You don't need me to continue on doing that. If everybody has to go on a page long rant about how fucked up a celeb is, then we got some threads we should be starting right now.
