Roman is AJ's only competition for best in the company right now. I also think Roman was Styles' best opponent in WWE so far. I think that performance he had against Braun was a new level for him, and he seems to be getting better. The smarks who say "Roman sucks and doesn't know how to work" are looking more foolish by the day.

Was that Balor's first one on one loss on the MR? They really didn't seem to think it was a big deal if it was. The announcers treated him like an underdog against an injured Reigns when he already has a clean win over a healthy Roman. Didn't watch anything else, but for it being around the two hour mark that crowd was surprisingly not dead by average Raw standards.

What has KO done over the past few years that would show he's better than Cobb?

The roster is paper thin on the heel side what else would he be doing besides squashes? Almas can only put over so many people per taping. I would be shocked if they had Black pegged as a 205 guy. His offense works against anyone. That was a huge guy he believably killed this week.

Really good match from Itami and Strong. Roddy would be an ideal choice for a tv champion. If I was HHH I'd go out before the next tv taping and tell the crowd this is the last taping at Full Sail if they're more interested in getting themselves over than watching the show.

The arm injury is the first character development Ember Moon has had.

So with the UK match added how many of Drew, Almas, Black, Ohno, and Roddy aren't going to make the show? They finally get a stacked roster, and can't even put together feuds for their best talent.

Those two guys Heavy Machinery fought couldn't have been older than 12. They made the Mulkeys look like the Sky Scrapers. Not Rock didn't look half bad against Itami. I wouldn't mind him doing a protege gimmick with Roode. Nikki's selling and laughing at Ember post match was too great. Itami doesn't feel like a title contender to me. He hasn't done shit in over a year. I guess they want to hold off on Drew until Brooklyn, but we should at least be getting a Drew/Ohno match in Chicago.

I guess they forgot Dean and Roman are best buds because I haven't heard Ambrose say a thing about wanting to fight Stroman for killing his friend. If they wanted to elevate the IC title have Dean call out Braun and drop it to him. It makes Ambrose look tough/crazy which is what he's supposed to be, it establishes the friendship that the audience has been invested in for 5 years, and it gives Braun a test run in main event title matches.

Well her match with Bayley was really good so I think those two have chemistry. Alexa's SDL run was a little disappointing in ring, but she's getting better. I think the kind of matches that play to her strengths also benefit Bayley. Slower more mat based character driven matches without a bunch of OMG high spots. I think they had Bayley trying to work like that against Charlotte and it's just not what she's best at. With how good Alexa is at everything else(top 5 maybe top 3 on the mic right now) she can get by with being just good in the ring.

Brock as the champ does nothing for me. Suplex City killed any desire I had to see his matches, and if he's going to show up once every three months then he doesn't need the belt. If you can't be bothered to work one match a month then fuck off. If Braun took the belt off Lesnar at Summer Slam it would elevate him to superstar status. That's a guy who's going to be at every Raw and every house show, but hey why would we want any full time guys being stars. That's the only good use I can see Brock having right now. Roman beating him is going to get more "Roman is overpushed" groans from the crowd. Braun as champ and Roman chasing is what they should be doing in the second half of the year.

Poor Finn getting stuck with Bray. Sasha turning doesn't make sense until some more women get over as faces. Alexa is the most likely to get over, but she's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better as a heel than she was as a high spot botching barbie babyface in NXT. Sasha's heel ace run in NXT produced the best women's matches in company history, and while she may not be as awesome as a face she's still needed in that role given the lack of over faces they currently have.

That was the best I've seen Aries look in WWE so far, and Neville has been excellent as the heel ace of 205 . Totally unprofessional kick by Sheamus that knocked Jeff's tooth out. The Hardys could have a good tag match in their sleep at this point, and Cersaro was a beast this match. Too bad we'll have to wait on that Revival/Hardys match. The fact they cut to the international broadcast teams during Bayley's big hometown entrance should show everyone what the think of her. Alexa's transition forearm shot was great. I think that was pretty easily Alexa's best match that I've seen. Bayley will most likely be her best opponent, and the match layout here was really good. Now can I get some Sasha vs Emma matches instead of them doing nothing? Overproduction hurt the Bray/Orton stuff. They had a decent brawl, but the silly production stuff ruined it. I have no interest in Rollins/Joe. Rollins is Rollins, and Joe hasn't had an inspired performance since Dallas Takeover last Mania weekend. How the hell did Roman get cleared for this match he looked like a mummy coming to the ring. Way to put over your medical staff WWE. Roman's opening punch was greatness. Stroman needs better offense. Let him start doing a powerbomb. That was a good performance from Stroman, but a really top notch performance from Reigns. Really good job by Bayley and Roman in elevating two up and coming top heels this show.

Balor has gotten about as much character development on the main roster as Bayley and Alpha which amounts to about zero. Rollins got a bunch of road to recovery videos from his injury as a heel, and to my knowledge Balor hasn't gotten anything like that. Have they even mentioned him wanting to win the title back he lost due to injury or are we just supposed to assume everyone knows Brock wont defend the belt until Summer Slam? The thing I'm looking forward to most on this show is to see if Orton and Bray will go full Kennel From Hell and be one of the worst matches ever. If their Mania match is anything to go by they have it in them.

I'm ready for NXT to get out of Full Sail. The only times the crowd wasn't dead they were being annoying. Drew basically squashed Almas. Black is looking really good in these squashes. The Roddy video was much needed for him. I'm a little torn on if it would be awesome to have a Glenn Danzig impersonator for a dad or not.

What evidence are you basing this off of?

I remember her being such a lousy face they had to flip her and Sasha. It will save me from having to watch her be out of position for babyface offense during comebacks. I thought she was pretty terrible in this match with Naomi awkwardly moving herself in position for moves, and her comically bad facial expressions.

It's easier to make a small division work when your show has 4 less hours to fill per month. SDL is already running it's second Charlotte/Naomi match so maybe they want to be more like Raw. If Sasha turns on Bayley she will be cheered. It's a bummer to see Bayley botched on the main roster, but most of us had a feeling this would happen. It's makes me appreciate what Becky has done even more by getting over as a mostly squeaky clean babyface.

I hate what they're doing with Billie and Peyton. A few months ago they were in the title match at a Takeover. Then Billie gets hurt by Ember, and they don't even try to come after her. They just do some lame "comedy" stuff, and lose to people below them on the card. They should be grooming Peyton as a top star. I'd rather they just do an Asuka vs Nikki feud for the belt now because those two are clearly ahead of the rest charisma and character wise. I still have no earthly idea what Ember's character is or why I should care about her.

So Jinder wins the SDL title, Drew Mac takes the NXT title, and Slater pulls the greatest upset of all time by beating Brock, and we have 3MB ruling the world.

I still can't believe they jobbed Sasha in a HITC match ppv main event in her hometown. Shit like that caused me to stop caring about the division. It's just idiocy, and it's no fault of the women who were working their asses off. There was definitely a time in late 2016 when Sasha should have got an extended run as the champ.
