  1. Sweet, YouTube TV is doing MLB/NFL multi view
  2. They gave him the TD on the replay because the ball broke the goal before he lost control, but I’m still not sure how they determined he wasn’t down because sure looked like his right knee was down way before he stretched.
  3. Canon. for some reason I thought Eddie Guerrero was a Tiger Mask but I looked it up and he was a Black Tiger.
  4. Opening trios was fine, interested to see where they go with Garcia. I couldn’t really get into Lethal-Trent, not sure why. Tony calling Karen an “evil bitch” was fucked up. Anytime we get Queen Emi is a treat. I would’ve liked 5 more minutes of that match. They did not have Skye’s spin enziguiri so that was a plus. Code Blue was super smooth. Announcers were really putting Skye over. Wheeler Yuta as a bump machine to get over Gates of Agony was a great strategy, announcers were losing their shit. It might be a little out of character but it would be awesome if they had Wheeler and Claudio dress like Wolverine and Colossus for the Collision episode before Halloween. I’d like to see them get a tag run.
  5. And also trying to find parts to hurt. I loved Sabre kicking Danielson's arms out when he was trying to arch back for a submission. Grabbing for fingers, punching at knees. All of it.
  6. Except OU is also leaving the Big 12 for the SEC.
  7. Don’t they sell package tickets though? And it’s got to be easier than trying to break everything down and move it overnight, plus the travel wear on the talent.
  8. This is the same Mistico from CMLL early 2000s? If so, I saw him live from front row seats at a CMLL show in Cuernavaca.
  9. I have 18, most are smallish silly floaters on my arms (7 were Friday the 13th specials when places were still doing them for $20). One large one on the outside of my left calf commemorating my rattlesnake bite. That one hurt a lot when it got into the knee ditch and right on top of the ankle. The one on the inside of my right bicep was the most painful in general, sensitive area and a heavy-hand artist. I need to have a slight cover-up on that one soon. Touch-ups also hurt a bunch. All are hidden when I wear long sleeves, although not on purpose.
  10. There is variance from "that was the worst AEW match ever" to "it wasn't that bad, but maybe not the best opponent to start off with"
  11. One thing that's interesting both here and online is the wide variance in opinions on the show and the matches. The Shida-Saraya match is split between people thinking it was trash and people who think it was a great carry job. No one seems upset that Saraya lost, but there are people who wanted others and the Shida superfans who disagree. Some people think that Rey Fenix shouldn't have lost and deserves to be a long-term singles champion, others think that OC and/or Moxley never should have lost it. Like with Shida, there are some hardcore Lucha Brother superfans out there. Some here think Swerve should have gone over and been pushed to main event AEW title contender, others find him unwatchable. One thing just about everyone agrees on is that Tony Khan needs to stay off Twitter for a while.
  12. That's a good spot since it's mostly meat/muscle it won't hurt too much unless they get up towards the ditch or too low on the wrist.
  13. I mean, I could counter that WWE/NXT going all out and not cracking a million while AEW brought 610k viewers over to Tuesday from their regular night is pretty notable too. But as long as the networks are happy, that's what matters.
  14. All of this, but RATINGZ WARZ are never logical, and Tony should know better than to keep off social media for a while and just let it simmer.
  15. Judging from what MJF posted on Twitter a couple of hours ago, it sounds like it was his idea and he's fully committed to seeing it through.
  16. I've been a Packers fan since the early 90s because they "are owned by the city/fans". I loved Brett Favre, pillhead, sex pest, and swindler. Then Aaron Rodgers, for a long time thought to be the "based" QB who rather than being a fruitcake anti-vax Berkeley hippie type is actually a dipshit libertarian NoCal recluse type. Plus the whole "owned by the fans" thing being a little bit of a scam and the fans themselves being less the Madison/Milwaukee type and more the rest of Wisconsin type.
  17. I almost added "at least they didn't have it be an Arab/Muslim"
  18. MJF using the anti-Semitism he experience growing up as part of his angles in the past is something I mentioned not being a fan of. Sometimes he used it as part of his villain origin story. Sometimes, he used it to garner sympathy as part of a build to cheat/betray the fans. I called it out then as something that could go bad. When Juice kept emphatically referring to him as "Friedman", I thought something was weird. And then it went there. I wouldn't like it regardless of the situation. I especially don't like it given what just happened. I also don't think the feud/angle needed it.
  19. That was basically the attitude about hip-hop and sampling for a long time as well, although most groups asked permission and occasionally included a song-writing credit. Then suddenly you had some one-hit wonders suing for huge amounts of money for unauthorized samples when an artist got huge.
  20. Also I really wish they had given the women’s belt to anyone but Shida. Not just because I don’t see the big deal with her, but also because all of her feuds are stale. Also why build up the fabulous Ms. Storm only to take away her revenge for the title?
  21. Pretty much all this. The Toni Storm gimmick has become #1 and the greatest and the only thing I really wanted was actual dialogue cards. BCG is turning into a modern day DX and I surprisingly am totally cool with it. Edge was bumping and selling a ton so props for that. Really great end segment building up the Friday and Saturday shows.
  22. I’m sure fancy grocery stores are better but I had a friend years ago who worked a grocery store deli counter including the fried chicken area and they called it “the salmonella sack”
  23. There is still a lot of “sowing the seeds of distrust” going on so I could see him starting to doubt and revert.
  24. I mean, it's basically course correction if Moxley called an audible for the title change originally.
  25. I imagine my wife will want them all, good thing Christmas is coming. Fauna was one of my favorites so I like that set plus you get Isabelle. The Kapp'n set is also great although I never cared for Marshall (but I know he's a "dreamy").
