  1. Having not finished Rez Dogs and only read the KotFM book, I think you'll more likely come away making connections to generational trauma. In my work, we sometimes do projects in Oklahoma and the Osage Tribal Historic Preservation Office is one of the most demanding, to the point where they've basically set the standard for archaeological survey work in a state that didn't really have anything official. After reading KotFM, I not only no longer felt frustrated by it but honestly feel like they're being somewhat reasonable.
  2. Pretty open secret during his time at A&M
  3. If there was a Baltimore Collision, there could be an old school style Road Report
  4. Looked into the Meet and Greet, and it's two of my favorites: Skye Blue and Philly homeboy Wheeler Yuta. But at $40 each for a 15 second photo-op and pre-signed 8x10, I'm going to pass.
  5. That was what finally sealed the deal for me. And hoping for Red October to continue so I can see the party.
  6. I saw REM at the Felt Forum for the Pageantry tour (Life's Rich Pageant album) in November 1986. My first real concert, and the day after my birthday.
  7. I'll do what I can but since I am running low on PTO I have to work Thursday.
  8. Got my $20 upper deck tickets for Wednesday (well, with Ticketmaster fees for 2 tickets it was actually $67), based on what was available in the different price ranges the side of the arena that's on camera should be almost full in the floor and lower decks and pretty full in the lower parts of the upper deck.
  9. Yeah I like Silver and Reynolds a lot as a tag team, good contrast and have that awesome finishing series. And that should be a fun combo, wonder if the low center of gravity and strength will benefit Silver against the various throws.
  10. Quinn Ewers has some kind of shoulder sprain/separation on his right (throwing) shoulder. Not sure of the grade yet, he was getting an MRI today, but likely out anywhere from 2-6 weeks.
  11. Looked at AEW Instagram and maybe these were announced on Collision (haven’t watched it yet) but Philly will get Shida-Ruby Soho for the title. Hoping for a title change. Also Hook and RVD will tag against Silver and Reynolds.
  12. Been way behind due to playoff baseball (both the Astros and the Phillies, which if that ends up being the series we’ll have to watch from home so my wife doesn’t get beer poured on her). I cheated and watched the opening of Rampage first so I could see Mistico-Azucar and I was not disappointed even if it wasn’t as flashy as it might have been a decade or so ago. The JTTS 3-way I mostly tuned out on, plus I already had it spoiled. Enjoyed Claudio-Yuta, as always. Main was good, Skye is definitely a little more stiff and adding more to her repertoire, her and Ruby have had good matches in the past, and honestly it was time to finally put Skye over rather than more Outcasts retread. Dynamite: Better than the usual Penta match anyway, but why not let White go over clean. MJF addressing the various angles, and the Max Caster interruption, was good and to the point. MJF did a god job of explaining more of the history and why he’s being so weird about it when he was on commentary for the battle royal. Loved Emi-Shida, was hoping they’d let Emi win so I would get to see the rematch in Philly, but alas, they have better ideas for Shida, right? I was not looking forward to the Copeland segment but it actually drew me in and worked. I truly hope they have him work some stuff away from Christian for a while. Wardlow squash was different, at least. But I think they’ve already killed any heat he had. Renee-Kenny-MJF was short and to the point. Please let this be the end of the Adam Cole comedy segments. It was aggressively not funny. Callis has a ton of heat. Takeshita is getting lost in the shuffle. Hobbs has an interesting story to tell. Kyle Fletcher starting a face turn? Omega-Fletcher was great. I still think Fletcher is a future main eventer. Lance Archer isn’t for me, just have never cared. Nana-Swerve at least acknowledged the rich history of Third Coast rap. Sting retiring. Lol’d at Hogan getting booed. Jim Ross-Wayne family sit down was cringe. Battle Royale kinda sucked, but we did get Dustin doing a shattered dreams for money, and more JAS tension. I’m excited for MJF-Juice, it should be a Philly bloodbath. And I guess I get to see Omaha live too.
  13. They opened up $20 upper deck tickets for Philly Dynamite/Rampage next week, lower deck is still minimum $50. I know Gregg is very down on AEW due to the Juice/MJF promo, anyone else from Philly area going?
  14. Someone who was 6 years old the last time Texas A&M won a national championship would be 90 years old currently.
  15. Giants coach apparently wondering the same thing. Bills did a good job (maybe inadvertently) of keeping him upright to run clock.
  16. Sweet, YouTube TV is doing MLB/NFL multi view
  17. They gave him the TD on the replay because the ball broke the goal before he lost control, but I’m still not sure how they determined he wasn’t down because sure looked like his right knee was down way before he stretched.
  18. Canon. for some reason I thought Eddie Guerrero was a Tiger Mask but I looked it up and he was a Black Tiger.
  19. Opening trios was fine, interested to see where they go with Garcia. I couldn’t really get into Lethal-Trent, not sure why. Tony calling Karen an “evil bitch” was fucked up. Anytime we get Queen Emi is a treat. I would’ve liked 5 more minutes of that match. They did not have Skye’s spin enziguiri so that was a plus. Code Blue was super smooth. Announcers were really putting Skye over. Wheeler Yuta as a bump machine to get over Gates of Agony was a great strategy, announcers were losing their shit. It might be a little out of character but it would be awesome if they had Wheeler and Claudio dress like Wolverine and Colossus for the Collision episode before Halloween. I’d like to see them get a tag run.
  20. And also trying to find parts to hurt. I loved Sabre kicking Danielson's arms out when he was trying to arch back for a submission. Grabbing for fingers, punching at knees. All of it.
  21. Except OU is also leaving the Big 12 for the SEC.
  22. Don’t they sell package tickets though? And it’s got to be easier than trying to break everything down and move it overnight, plus the travel wear on the talent.
  23. This is the same Mistico from CMLL early 2000s? If so, I saw him live from front row seats at a CMLL show in Cuernavaca.
  24. I have 18, most are smallish silly floaters on my arms (7 were Friday the 13th specials when places were still doing them for $20). One large one on the outside of my left calf commemorating my rattlesnake bite. That one hurt a lot when it got into the knee ditch and right on top of the ankle. The one on the inside of my right bicep was the most painful in general, sensitive area and a heavy-hand artist. I need to have a slight cover-up on that one soon. Touch-ups also hurt a bunch. All are hidden when I wear long sleeves, although not on purpose.
