Mike Dell! I used to watch him wrestle in flea markets in Texas a decade ago. Cool to see he's still around. First time I saw him was last year at a Wildkat show. Seems he works for NWA Houston,NWA Branded Outlaw Wrestling and Wildkat. And he is the current Wildkat heavyweight champ. Heard that he actually had at least one match in ROH a few years back.

This is the first match held in Powerslams training center,The Powershack. Aeon Flexx has been working the Mississippi/Alabama indy scene for at least 10 years now. Wes has been working the deep south scene for almost 15 years. So both guys have plenty of experience.

And is one of those guys that is good at almost everything. The winner of the match will get a shot at current PSP Heavyweight champ Wes Adams.

This was the first show PSP held at their new training center. Lukas Frost is a long time vet of the MS/LA indy scene. And since coming back last fall from foot surgery has really stepped up his game. Kool Jay Steele is another long time vet of the MS indy scene. Him and Reggie Matthews trained together and have had an almost 2 year long feud happening. Wildcard Jay Spade is the rookie of this match. He IIRC made his debut at Powerslams Spring Bash 2014 show. Big Ramp is IMHO one of the best managers in the indies.In many ways he reminds me of mid 80s era Bobby Heenan.

But Saxon has been around the Gulf Coast area for years now.And is really good. Houston Carson mostly works the Texas indies and IIRC is current NWA Woman's World champion Barbi Hayden's boyfriend. Superkick is a guy that has majorly improved since the first time I saw him almost 2 years ago. He was in the main event of the first Last Rites Championship Wrestling show. A show that has been nicknamed "The Heroes of Wrestling of MS indy wrestling". Mostly because of how big of a bomb it was.

Maybe once a day. Depends on what I am doing. Next month it will be more often. But I am also going to at least 2 indy shows maybe 4.

My phone can text. But each text cost me. So I just turned that feature off. Why spend 3 minutes typing when I can call the person and tell them the same thing in under 20 seconds. I have never understood the need for texting when you have a device that allows you to call and talk. 3 minutes???? Are you out of your mind?? 15 seconds, MAX. So it is the same amount or a bit more of calling the person and telling them the same thing. Plus I hate typing with my thumbs. Might just be because I learned how to type almost 30 years ago on a manual typewritter. But typing with my thumbs feels incredible dumb to me.

Yes they do. I don't have a smartphone cause all I need my cell for is making phone calls. No need to text,take pictures/videos or go on the net with it. When I was out of town for a conference once, my cell phone broke so I went to Best Buy and got a pay as you go flip phone for like 8 bucks. Cost me 20 to put enough minutes on it to last until I got home and could actually get my real one fixed (I ended up having to get a new one though). I was seen as an oddity for the two weeks that I had a flip phone. For my generation (mid 20s and younger), not having a smart phone is social suicide. See I am almost 40. Half my friends my age have a phone similar to mine. Hell I didn't get a cellphone until 2008. Had no need for one. Only got one because I have to make long trips every few months.

I don't see how US Indies are smartphone games at all. Games like Angry Birds, Words With Friends and Candy Crush have all been ridiculously popular and part of mainstream culture. Just because you don't like either US Indies or smartphones doesn't make the analogy work. My friends really don't care. If they need to call me they can. Yeah. King has a really hard time finding endings for his books. I had the same issues with Doctor Sleep; started out great but ended only satisfactory. Currently reading King's new book, Mr. Mercedes. Beginning is fucking sweet, so I am starting to dread finishing this book. Hopefully I will be surprised. One of the worst for bad endings was Under the Dome. It really felt like King realized the book was already way too long. Took a big hit off his bong and wrote down the stupidest explanation for what had happened.
