It used to drive me crazy that Mark McGwire's jsutification was something like "As I got older I was a smarter better hitter so it wasn't fair that I wasn't as fast and strong at the same time so I could be my true self." MF that is why the game is hard. By the time you get smart at it you aren't young and strong anymore. Every single person lives that in and out of sports. Can you imagine if Ali was as fast in 1979 as he was in 1965? NO ONE gets to do that. That's the point. -

It were the gummies that ruined my maths. the gummies and the lead that ruined my maths. Oh, dear old ma, I didn't mean to draw your wraths. It were the gummies and the lead what ruined my maths. my price point for VS used to be that $18 half price #, but so many are pricier 4K now that start out higher than $40 and I see $23 I'm like "close enough!" -
In 1978 my dad took me to the movies I can't remember to see what kids movie, but he pulled the ole' "Well that one's sold out" so he could take me to see that instead.

I mean even if no one “knew” anything there were so many stories. Not everything in that sleaze thread was made up. And if you got a job at an any other place in the world and heard THAT MANY stories of a certain type how long would you last hearing them pile up before you needed to know before, you could go back? -
Am I wrong or was Mr. Bentley on The Jeffersons and absolute freak show psychopath?

Selling all of our sports leagues and networks to online Gambling companies was, in retrospect, the single stupidest thing anyone in charge of anything has done to immediately destroy said thing.

Do you know how much I hate myself right now for knowing who the owner of XPW was? Like that's messed up. I would not date a man who knew that. I would not let anyone I know go on a date with a man who knows that. -

Oh my god. I watched this without reading anything and thought "wow, this must be one of Jess Franco's most bizarre and shoddily made early 1970s movies made with 1950s cameras" and then I looked down and saw 1993?????????? The sheer brilliance of that final shot. The absurdity of the idea and the perfection of its execution in the most awe-inspiring way possible. That may define cinema for me for the rest of my life. I never preorder things because I'm not made of money and so I won't preorder this but in I will absolutely pay 50% of MSRP for it in 6 months. -

gjuy,s I'm stone and I'm never really liked CM Punk but is there any chance that he actually did fake this injury as a way to not "work" for this company? I'm just still waiting for one person to do something different than "He's gone. So he's not there. He's gone." -

If we lived in a slightly more sane society than this one, (not totally sane, just slightly more than this one) those two men would already be locked in a pen inside a missile silo where they will end their days. -

"cowards and bootlickers." - a guy who maybe at least is faking an injury to take their money without doing anything of value for them (a guy can fantasy book, right?) -

I guess the big question is this. Even Enron wasn't too big to take down 20 years ago. But that was before the landscape was dotted with billionaires each owning their own media outlets, political parties, and apparently judges. I wonder if that's changed today so much that even this stupid cage fighting company is too big to take down today. -

Ted Turner never should have gotten more ambitious than Bill Tush doing the news.
