  1. You know what Jericho is going to attribute his long run in the Royal Rumble to on his podcast, right?
  2. I mean, again, it's not that they're making him the man, it's how they're doing it, which is the most busted way possible. They need to commit. This is borrowing from another wrestler, but here's the winning formula for Roman: Arrive Raise Hell Leave That's it. That's all they need to do and just put that on repeat. What they've done is took away anything organic about how he was getting over, shoved him down the audience's throat, cut his legs out by putting Daniel Bryan in the Royal Rumble, had Vince write his lines, got cold feet at WM and had him lose to Rollins, begin building him up again, make him look like an idiot by dropping the title right after winning it, have him look like an idiot again challenging for the title, finally have him go on a rampage, commit to making him champ, rampages stop, stand there and get chastised by the boss' daughter, lose the title again about a month after losing it. If the do the alternative, which is kick ass, kick ass, kick ass, kick ass, talk a little, kick ass, win the WWE Title at WM, kick ass, kick ass, kick ass, talk a little, kick ass, etc. all the way until now, there's probably not as much gnashing of teeth. Probably...
  3. And what time would they have to do this? The PPVs are uploaded to the Network literally minutes after the show has ended, which likely means they're uploading AS the show is going. This is complete bullshit. First of all, that's a YouTube video where they could have easily made whatever edit was necessary, regardless of what is on the Network. Secondly, this is the same company that used to put together a PPV recap music video AS SOON AS THE PPV ENDED. "What time would they have to do this" doesn't exactly fly anymore.
  4. Yeah, I was going to mention that. That was really cool.
  5. Yeah, I saw that. I'm glad he has a better idea to manage his nutrition now. That's also interesting about venison, regarding it containing creatine. I never had any idea, but then again, I've never eaten venison.
  6. Regarding the entrance video in Natural's post, they couldn't even bother to make an edit and switch to a shot of the tron showing "I AM PHENOMENAL"? What the fuck. Nope, the best way to show that is how it was originally broadcasted, with Roman's dumb fucking look on his face.
  7. Never count out the Cardinals. It's like their greatest strength. Every time you do, they win the division.
  8. Yep. And who is going to get the rub from Brock? Anyone? Roman? They had a chance to do it with Roman and they got cold feet. Much like everything with Roman though, it requires two or three shots to get it right... History has shown us that no one will get the rub from Brock. His contract will come to an end and it will finally come time for him to lose to someone, but it won't matter because it will be such a foregone conclusion. If it turns out that Bray will be the non-CenaHHHRomanUndertaker guy to beat him, well, what a waste that will be. I'm just hoping against hope that it's someone who will actually matter, like Ambrose or Owens or someone else coming up from NXT.
  9. I played Dota 2 a lot last week. I find myself a little addicted to it. At the same time, I fucking HATE Dota 2. I understand that I'm in the same place that so many others are in. I mainly played in games with 4 or 5 other lifelong friends (one of those would act as a coach if there were six of us online), and at various times, nearly all of them said something to the effect of "this game is so stupid." And it is. The Hero pool is greater than 100, which is insane. All of those Heroes have at least 4 skills/abilities. Then you factor in the various categories those Heroes fall into like Int, Strength, Carry, Pusher, Ganker, Initiator, etc. I can't figure out how people keep track of all this shit. I can understand it for something like Street Fighter and the competitive fighting game scene in general because the fighter pool is so much smaller even if their moves are numerous. For Dota 2, there's just so much that it's overwhelming. Then I think about how I also play Magic, which has such an insanely large card pool and I know what so many of those cards are. With Magic though, everyone's early moves make sense. There is a consistency to that. With Dota, every game I've played when I'm farming a lane at the very beginning, the opposing Heroes also in that lane can always kill me. There is never a time where I have an early game advantage, no matter how tanky of a Hero I'm playing. What a stupid game. I'm sure I'll be playing again tonight.
  10. And Strowman is that bad. I hated nearly everything with him being involved in the Rumble. From how ridiculous he looks, how stiff he moves, and how he has no concept for selling, he's awful. It's like watching a more mobile Great Khali. Everything about Strowman is aggravating and I'm surprised people actually want to see him go 10 minutes with Brock unless people want to see Brock beat the shit out of Strowman for 10 minutes and make Strowman change his mind about being a wrestler because that's the only reason I would want to see that. In fact, everything about Brock vs the Wyatts is the same old shit we've seen from the Wyatts in the past. Bray Wyatt is Dr. Claw adjace for how much he fucking fails at everything despite being an evil mega-villain. The Wyatts will once again bite off more than they can chew and Brock will wind up beating Bray. Not only that, but for all the people that complain about how ridiculous Brock vs Punk, Brock vs Daniel Bryan, Brock vs Ambrose, or Brock vs anyone that doesn't have the size Brock has, Bray is a more realistic person for Brock to face? This greasy fat man is more of a threat than anyone else? I await the comparisons to Roy Nelson with how Bray's gut and beard will absorb the damage from Brock.
  11. That shit doesn't fly in 2016. It didn't fly in 2015, or 2014 or even 2013 either.
  12. This is the same Matt Riddle that was briefly in the UFC and was a pothead? EDIT: Apparently it is. Is he actually good?
  13. Well that's the problem with the Authority in general. As an idea, it makes no sense. They have the ability to just fire him and make him a curtain jerker, and yet, he's given tons of opportunities. They'll likely stack the deck against Roman at Fastlane and if Roman wins, he can challenge for the title. I wouldn't be at all shocked if it was Roman vs Brock or Roman vs Ambrose at Fastlane. Because why not give the guy you don't like at all, and don't want challenging for the title, even more opportunities to challenge for the title.
  14. Anyone watch the newest WWE 24? I love how the Divas tag was all about Paige and the lengths they went to to make it look like AJ Lee's face wasn't shown. It was actually pretty decent, though. I liked seeing the guys backstage watching the matches. Cena saying "sometime's you just have to throw the rules out the window" when it came to the HHH vs Sting match was a different way of looking at that match.
  15. By the way, it was so clear that HHH would be #30, but deep down, what I wanted more than anything else for #30, was to be shocked and hear this... Followed by Seth making a shocking return ala John Cena. No way would that be remotely possible considering his injury, but if there was a chance for him to be ready to go, him coming back would have been bigger than Ambrose winning the WWE Title.
  16. I thought about this too. Reigns vs HHH doesn't need to be for the title, but if Ambrose goes into WM as dual champion, who challenges him? What, you do ANOTHER triple thread with Ambrose vs Reigns vs HHH? That's pretty uninspired. You do Reigns vs HHH at Fastlane and then Reigns vs Ambrose at WM just so Ambrose loses to Reigns again? That would suck. I guess maybe you could have Brock steamroll the Wyatts at Fastlane to become #1 contender and do Brock vs Ambrose for the WWE title and Reigns vs HHH. Ambrose defeating Brock would be a star-making moment and you would at least have Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins to be the guys at the top going into the future, as much as Fowler would hate that. You could at least build to Reigns vs Ambrose at Summerslam and later do the Shield three-way for the WWE title at WM 33. I don't know. That's all pointless speculation because what we have now is HHH vs Reigns for the WWE Title at WM 32. I'm sure it will be a good match, but we all know how it will end and that's extremely uninspired. Someone else put it PERFECTLY. Maybe it was EVA, but he said something along the lines of that it's not that we don't want Reigns in this position, it's about how badly they've fucked it up. Seriously. How do you fuck this up so badly? As also pointed out by Fowler (?), Reigns was a can't miss prospect and they totally fucked him up to the point where fans just don't give a shit. Reigns losing the title, AGAIN, doesn't help. When this type of shit happened to Edge, it was when Edge was a heel and it was clear that he wasn't going to be the face of the company (even though he should have been since going over Angle in the hair vs hair match). In this case, Vince and HHH so desperately want Reigns to take over for Cena and they're going about it like Jodie Foster at the end of Silence of the Lambs.
  17. And like a lot of people, I thought this show was pretty good overall, but the lows were REALLY low. Owens vs Ambrose was totally awesome. I loved watching those guys beat the shit out of each other. Hell of a match. Then came ADR vs Kalisto, which was not as good and had ADR looking really disinterested, almost like he was going to lose the title...Kalisto fucking up in key spots wasn't great too. And for as much as evilclown bitched about the Divas match looking totally rehearsed and stale on Twitter, ADR vs Kalisto was ten times as bad. That Divas title match wasn't that bad too. The first half was pretty bland and then the second half turned it up and was pretty great. Again though, some of the lows were really low. Ric Flair sexually assaults Becky, but I guess we're supposed to laugh that off because it's Ric Flair. Charlotte "missing" Becky with that spear and hitting Ric looked terrible. It was less Becky getting out of the way and more Charlotte having the SHITTIEST AIM EVER. Get your eyes checked, girl. The end of that match with Ric throwing his sport coat onto Becky was pretty dumb. AND THEN THE BOSS SAVED EVERYTHING! Fuck. Yeah. Charlotte vs Da Boss at Wrestlemania instantly became the match I'm looking to the most if it means more weaves getting ripped out and the two of them stiffing the shit out of each other. As for the Rumble match, it was good, there's no denying that, but it had the worst production I've seen out of the WWE since...well...the last Royal Rumble actually. It was horrendous. How do you fuck up AJ Styles' debut that bad? Someone on Twitter linked to a video of AJ's debut using handheld footage and it's a way better way to show his entrance. AJ's music is total fire too. I want to buy that track already. It sounded like DMX's No Sunshine, but I can't tell if it was really DMX or not. The cameras also cut away from so much action just to show Roman curling up for a nap. The logic of the match was complete shit too. Roman gets his ass kicked, but Vince doesn't go the extra step to just eliminate him? WTF? HHH dumps Roman and we're left with Ambrose vs HHH and I had no idea until that point that Ambrose vs HHH or Ambrose as champ was what I really wanted. That crowed was primed and ready to erupt if HHH was eliminated. Sadly, that didn't happen. Despite that, Owens eliminating AJ was great and perfectly booked. Owens in the Rumble match period was awesome. No one has mentioned it, but when the Wyatts were dominating before Bray made his entrance, Cole goes, "who is left to fight these guys" and I'm like, shit, yeah, who is left? HERE COMES THE FUCKING PAIN! Another perfectly booked moment. Cole deserves a ton of props for calling this match because he really helped AJ and moments before Brock's entrance. Sami's entrance was perfectly booked. Brock beat the shit out of Jericho with shots that would make Vader blush. Speaking of Jericho, what a total cockroach. At least three times I forgot he was in the match still and when he was finally eliminated, I got a text from a friend saying "thank christ." All in all, a really good show with some big problems. At the very least I have Owens vs the world, Charlotte vs Da Boss, Brock beating the shit out of Bray, and AJ Styles to look forward too.
  18. I feel like this... Completely balances out this bullshit. I heard that and thought, "I had to have heard that wrong." I re-wound it and, nope, I sadly heard it right.
  19. Because Stipe is fucking awesome and always has been. That's how. Given the history with other fighters I've been behind since they started, namely Johny, Stipe will win the title and then lose it in a rematch via a bullshit decision.
  20. The Kofi elimination was among many misses during that match. Does Kevin Dunn run the camera switching in the truck too? I swear I don't remember him being this bad a few years ago. And not mentioned yet is the creepy assault by Ric Flair. That was...really weird.
  21. I was texting back and forth with friends about what a cockroach Jericho was, but I loved him putting his mitts on Brock and Brock going full Vader on him.
  22. Say what you will about the booking of the Rumble match, which I guess was fine, but the camera work and production were all time bad.
