  1. I wonder if Charlotte loses, but leaves Becky laying, and the MITB winner runs out to cash in. Now Becky has a brand and Smackdown has a full-time champ. In that instance, Alexa would probably be best.
  2. @RIShanethat’s a good point. I hadn’t considered that. I thought Bayley looked the best she has in months, and she’s been trending up since January. I have no real evidence to back this up, other than teaching mma for s year or so now, but Bayley seems to let her feet get lazy at times. She was crisp and the match wasn’t technically perfect, but the slight flubs seemed to add to the intensity of the struggle. Hopefully she’ll get a better spot moving forward.
  3. You the guy she refused to hug on live tv? Who hurt you? Smh.
  4. What? Why? For Becky/Charlotte part 19? Bayley cut a great promo and brought her working boots. Charlotte is as stale as three day old beer right now. Ugh. Thought they made Kofi look a bit weak. Kevin got too much in.
  5. I'm in. Looks weird AF. Seems like they're getting to Seth/AJ pretty fast. Seth could use some successful defenses if they want him to be the guy long term. The Viking Raiders is....better? I think? Is Alexa wrestling or not? Robert Roode's look is a sleazefest and I dig it.
  6. I did think about what I wrote after I write it and scoffed at the notion of looking for logic in a Vince decision.
  7. I do wonder if there was a singular event that shifted Vince’s thinking from “these two are getting a long run” to “not only are they losing the titles, but we’re splitting them up.” Seems fishy.
  8. That would be a cool aesthetic for AEW. This shotgun Saturday night/street fighter 2 kinda feel with exotic locales for cards. Couldn’t do it all the time, but would be a good way to change it up.
  9. Alexa’s still there, I believe, if she’s medically cleared this week.
  10. Bay-Omi was kinda dope. And it makes sense. Poor saNity. I still have no idea if Dean Ambrose is leaving or not...
  11. Since Bayley's name came up, if I were someone in the front office at WWE, I'd sit her down and talk to her about going back to nXt for a year. You pay her her main roster contract, maybe even bump her up a bit, to sweeten it, but sell it to her as getting to be the linchpin for the brand again. Rehab her character, have great matches with a variety of women, and I think she lives in Florida, so she'd get to be there more. Also, I gotta imagine she'd be a top merch seller again there pretty fast, so her income potential goes up even more in an income tax free state. Keeps her away from Sasha, and lets the audience miss her. As for Sasha, I guess I'm willing to concede at this point I just don't see her as the top level talent some here do. Not the CT guy who insists she invented cable television, but rational people here. She's good, but someone the company should go out of their way to feature? Nah. I guess with Ronda and Nia both out, there's a chance for her (and Bayley) to increase their exposure, but pushing her at the expense of Charlotte, Alexa, and Becky? Absolutely not. And race has nothing to do with it. Their characters play better to bigger audiences.
  12. I wear a helmet so the aliens can't read my thoughts, fucker....
  13. Now there are “Bayley is quitting too” rumors from certain dark corners of the Internet.
  14. I kinda have an issue with the “rumored promiscuity” thing. That’s only ever come from “sources” with an axe to grind. I guess my question to Sasha would be; what the hell else do you want? You were amongst the most featured women in the original “women’s revolution.” You were the first ever entrant in the women’s Royal Rumble. You were in the first Women’s Hell in a Cell. You’re a four time former champion. At what point do you start to ask yourself if they’re the problem or if it’s you?
  15. Ill step up and admit being the Bayley Stan if no one else will...
  16. I heard Curt Hawkins say on a couple podcasts that he could've made decent money on the indies for the next decade, but with his daughter being born he felt WWE held more security. Hawkins is probably a success story overall. He opened a wrestling school that's produced some good ones and books local indy shows.
  17. FTR, I don't dislike Sasha. But this idea held by some (maybe just one) that she's some revelation to the women's division and should be handled with kid gloves as a result is asinine. She's no linchpin. She's a role player. A good one, like Bayley and Natalya, but she's not a STAR star.
  18. As someone who’s medicated for mental illness, I would have a ton of sympathy. It wouldn’t excuse how she treats people sometimes, but it would explain it.
  19. Here’s the thing; I hate feeling like I’m talking shit about Sasha. I dig her presentation. The “legit boss” thing is a good hook and I think she’s talented. But constantly complaining on podcasts and online about specific talents being ahead of you on the card is as unprofessional as it gets. I didn’t like it when CM Punk did it to the Miz and I don’t like it when Sasha does it to Alexa. That shit matters to Vince, too. He’s said it multiple times. And you can see a distinct pattern where guys have complained/made jokes online about their spot and gotten buried for it. (Rusev, Ryder, Tyler Breeze. I think it’s happening to Sanity right now, too.) If you want to improve your spot, tweak your gimmick or alter something that you think is holding you back. Or, in the most recent example of a mid-carder getting elevated overnight, bust your ass for eleven years and then have the performance of a lifetime when it matters and the most eyes are on you. But showing the camera “booboo face” and attacking your peers on social media doesn’t do anyone any good...
  20. I have niners fan on ignore, but I got the gist from @Raziel. I’m not a big fan of anyone who’s as much of a Mark for themselves as Sasha appears to be. Male or female. And yes, she should do what she’s being paid to do. Regardless of what that entails in the ring.
  21. She’s probably all booboo faced about having to lose to Alexa next week. Or her team losing the tag belts. Or whatever. She also got into it with Alexa on Twitter again last night. Shes nowhere near good enough to be the headache she apparently can be. But, if she put as much work into her in ring and promos as she does complaining about others getting opportunities before her, she’d be an all-time great.
