Amazing team of individually brilliant workers. You could make the case that both are top 10 Japanese workers all-time. Their worst match on the set was WITH THE GODDAMNED ROAD WARRIORS.Hawk was a mediocre worker, Animal marginally better. Together with an awesome gimmick and Ellering they became bigger than the sum of the parts. I have nothing against the Warriors as a badass concept that was perfectly suited to its time and well executed. They were great for what they were and hella fun all the time. But whether you're voting on teamwork, match quality, badassitude, or legacy, Tenryu-Jumbo win. Even from a kayfabe stance: the Road Warriors were getting beaten by Jumbo-Tenryu and had to resort to a weak chair shot to draw a lame DQ! A spiked shoulder pad to the eyes of all who vote for them.
