  1. They got me. After the Brock match, I was halfway convinced they wanted to continue the Bray thing with him at mania which made me think Ambrose was going over in the main event. Then he started working HHH's leg and that made it seem even more likely. Once he didn't get that pin I knew what was up. The main was really good at least the second half of it. The first half was really plodding. Natty/Charlotte was really good which surprised me because I'm not much on either of them. The tag matches were decent but that Swagger/Jericho match was so fucking terrible and the Zayne/Stardust match wasn't much better. I don't mind Brock looking invincible because that makes sense but I just wish he wasn't completely suplex city. That's his whole offense it seems now.
  2. I don't know, I didn't get a chance to play the beta. At least destiny had raids and team mechanics. Still though, got repetitive as hell.
  3. Cespedes made the best point in that. The pitchers do that shit all the time. I get what he's saying to a point but still, that moment with the bat flip was bananas and it was that way in large part because of his reaction. It was awesome.
  4. So we have McGregor/Aldo or Edgar and Tate/Rousey most likely on that card. If they do GSP/Lawler on that card, goddamn what a show that will be. You'd only be able to have one other fight on the main card with three title fights.
  5. That's why a buddy of mine immediately returned it after playing it. His words- "that game is dumb as shit"
  6. I'd rather see GSP fight Silva than I would Nate Diaz and especially Hendricks.
  7. I just look at it as most likely if GSP comes back it's not going to be for more than a few fights. I'm already kind of conceding that the odds are stacked against him in terms of his chances for any success. So might as well use him in the biggest spot possible than risk him in a lesser fight. Even if he loses at least it served the purpose of growing Lawler even bigger than he is.
  8. I'd most like to see GSP against Lawler. Lawler is so tough to get down at this point, it'd be a really interesting matchup. I don't really have a desire to see Anderson against anyone now. He lost to Bisping. Where else is there for him to go? He's the best ever, time to hang them up.
  9. I haven't had the chance to catch the show yet but on Bray- I'm not much of a Bray supporter but if they do push him I'd rather it be on his own. The Wyatts as a group suck. There's four of them but only two of them are even worth paying attention to. Rowan isn't interesting nor is he fun to watch in a match and Strowman is just a big guy that can't wrestle. I love Harper but would rather see him in a singles push than in whatever Wyatt storyline is going on.
  10. The Eagles trying to undo everything Chip Kelly did is pretty funny. Too bad for them they're stupid and kept Sam Bradford.
  11. There's just no reason to think there's any ducking. She's going to get ready now in March to fight in July. Also people are just assuming that if Holly won that Ronda wouldn't accept a fight with her in July which I don't think would be the case. She wasn't ready to fight Holly now in March. July is four months away.
  12. Here it is in a nutshell- you don't like Rousey. You also don't appear to like the actual facts. You keep saying last week she was depressed and now she's not. Where are you getting that? She said she was depressed in November after her fight and then no media contact for three months until the interview three weeks ago where she talked about the depression she went through after the fight. You're basically making stuff up to fit your narrative.
  13. Whenever they lose a decision they always say that their opponent just ran away or that their punches didn't do shit to them. I love it.
  14. I liked Conors statement he made on social media. I showed up to fight, you showed up on Twitter.
  15. I don't think so. With Holly, it was Ronda's only loss in her career. She wasn't about to jump into a rematch too soon before being completely prepared for her which is understandable. With Tate, this is a person that Ronda has already destroyed. Twice. I would imagine that the thing that Ronda wants most is to avenge her only loss in her career. Not that she was ducking Holly.
  16. This is a weird opinion. I watched the press conference and didn't think Conor made any excuses. They asked him specifically about fighting a bigger opponent and he specifically said that wasn't why he lost the fight. And then he gave his opinion on why he lost the fight. Nate however made excuses for taking damage and was making excuses before the fight even happened in case he lost. How many times did Nate talk about not having a full camp? When pretty much every losing fighter or trainer of the fighter goes the route of "I'm not making any excuses but...", Conor was basically the opposite of that. I don't know where you got that from.
  17. They can do McGregor/dos Anjos right away if they want. Why couldn't they? Who would argue that Conor is an unworthy challenger? He just went up to 170 on a couple weeks notice against an opponent he didn't prepare for. I don't see the issue. You don't take your biggest draw and say well your need to work your way up from the bottom now. He's still going to be a huge draw.
  18. I think the ppv numbers will prove you wrong on that one. They can always fall back on dismissing McGregor's loss because he had to go up in weight and still do a big number with dos Anjos. It was still too risky for Conor to take that fight in my opinion. Stoked for a Ronda return right now.
  19. Every fighters manager of course knows the contract that they negotiated with their fighter. Outside of that, no journalists don't know shit. They spout the same non information that you just did- this guy is getting over x amount. That's not a number. Nobody is publishing shit, that's my point. The UFC prefers to operate under this model of having a disclosed fighter salary but then being able to say that isn't the top number and doesn't include ppv percentages, locker room bonuses etc and they do that for a reason. The reason is obvious. They don't want it to be public information. They don't want people to know the disparity.
  20. Apparently they are because I've never seen an exact number. Not in these forums or others. You say Conor is making "well over $10 million." Well over is not a number. If it's not hush hush information you would be able to say he's making $18 million for this fight, not some fucking internet rumor number. You say GSP and Anderson were making "millions" but you have no numbers. My point is that you don't have an exact number because they don't want people to know the exact number.
