  1. Sounds like Riddle was drunk and disorderly when he got off the plane and caused a scene. He's not exactly proven to be a credible person of integrity.
  2. Look at the Instagram post he later deleted. He got pulled from Raw and this week's house shows.
  3. https://www.tmz.com/2023/09/10/wwe-matt-riddle-jfk-sexual-assault-claim-internal-investigation/ Not sure if this incident is finally what gets Matt Riddle fired, but I feel like it's only a matter of time.

  5. AEW Dynamite was easily the better of the two shows this week. Collision felt more like a two-hour Rampage, which is fine. Rampage this week was good, but tonight's show didn't feel all that special outside of the Jade Cargill return. The Cargill return was nice because it was a surprise and we didn't know it was coming. They didn't overhype up a big return tonight, and no one was squealing about it online. I have a feeling Roderick Strong is winning the tournament to face MJF at Grand Slam, and then maybe Joe faces MJF at Wrestledream or Full Gear instead.
  6. Does anyone else think this was one of the best put-together Dynamite episodes of the year? I thought everything flowed smoothly and came across so well this week, and it's also got me massively excited for Joe vs. MJF, though I'm wondering if they want to do it at Grand Slam or save it for WrestleDream. I think this was one of the better, most forward-moving episodes of Dynamite in a while, with very little wasted time, and everything really seemed like it came off close to perfect. Liked having Orange Cassidy have a little moment at the beginning than linger as Moxley, Fox, and Darby came out for the opening contest. I thought it gave a nice little edge to the opening contest. I liked that Darby came out with Fox at the start to give a little moral support for him. Moxley wins and looks strong, and then they transition seamlessly into the segment with Christian. They packed a lot into that first 20 minutes or so, but it all came across well and was not rushed because it didn't feel like they were having everyone run into the ring and interrupt the match to get their spots in. The transitions felt more subtle. Kris Statlander vs. Emi Sakura; short-ish match and title defense, but did the job of building up Statlander. I actually got a kick of Roddy's little sit-down testimonial talking about his parents, sleeping with a BB gun. I've never thought of Roddy as a big promo guy, but since he turned heel he's actually been holding his own incredibly well. Aussie Open vs. Le Sex Gods was a good TV match. I'm assuming they are building to some sort of blow-up between Guevara and Jericho. It's somewhat amusing how many face and heel turns Jericho is going through. He's now basically become AEW's Big Show. I'm assuming they are going to have Guevara and Jericho win the tournament with Jericho turning on Guevara, or they lose their tag title shot. If it leads to a Jericho/Guevara feud it could be something good. Not sure if MJF vs. Joe was the original plan post All Out, but it works perfectly, especially as a way to test out babyface MJF. Joe and MJF had great chemistry, and Joe has always been gifted with his promo ability. Great beatdown by Joe as well with MJF selling the neck injury. Another good transition for this segment having the Joe/MJF promo segment segue into Adam Cole's relationship with MJF, Strong's jealousy and then having Strong escorted by Kingdom for his match with Trent. All that flowed really well to get us from a long talky segment and then to a match, all while reinforcing multiple main storylines going on. Strong and Trent also had a good TV match this week. Taven and Bennett played their roles perfectly this week. Loved how they made sure to check on Strong's neck constantly and put his neck brace back on after the match. Nice touch. I'm enjoying Toni Storm's new old-school movie star gimmick. She does it well. Her throwing the shoe at Renee was also hilarious. Renee also did tremendously playing off of Toni's schtick. Definitely on board for a feud between Swerve and Hangman. That was a good way to get it started. Mogul Affiliates was bad, not really Swerve's fault, but I think Mogul Embassy works better for him, especially Prince Nana. Nana dancing to Swerve's music was perfect this week.
  7. Trump and Cornette would be a more apt comparison. There are definitely similarities among their fan bases and how they act on social media. But that’s most toxic fandom in general.
  8. Sports Illustrated suggested that days ago. All the whining about who told who what is utter BS anyway. CM Punk is a paranoid narcissist. No one even knew he had issues with Hangman the months he was injured and had a broken foot until he came back on TV and shot on him. Clearly, the whole Colt Cabana thing is an exposed nerve for him he couldn’t get over it after almost 10 years. He had to let it drive him wild. Who even gives a crap if a few idiots on the internet think you had something to do with Cabana being marginalized? No one was even talking about that until the public shots at Hangman. If he’s worried about that garbage getting out in the open, it was Punk himself who opened that can of worms because he’s a fucking idiot. Punk wants drama, and he likes to create drama, and he wants to be at the center of it.
  9. I know Brandi said this: https://twitter.com/TheBrandiRhodes/status/1686395457952526336
  10. Somewhat OT, but Christian's definitely doing well with the whole "I'm the daddy" thing and leaning into it.
  11. Cody said in February 2023 that he had a great relationship with Punk in AEW: https://youtu.be/ZVDhLzMd-oM
  12. He said Linda and Hulk Hogan were banned. Should've kept that same energy for Bischoff. https://twitter.com/TonyKhan/status/1267893197314953222
  13. I’m still okay if Jack Perry doesn’t come back over this. Not all of this falls on him, but he does bear some of the responsibility.
  14. Edge is good but he's not a draw, and he's not a needle mover. He also turns 50 years old next month, and his career is on borrowed time. You can't realistically build a TV show around him.
  15. CM Punk's own city turned on him. Even Chicago thinks Punk is an asshole.
  16. https://www.bodyslam.net/2023/09/03/exclusive-details-regarding-incident-between-cm-punk-and-william-regal-upon-regals-aew-debut/ the rumored Regal incident for anyone wondering. To play Devil’s advocate, Cassidy Haynes did report that the Saudis were buying WWE.
  17. Mark Sterling. He basically seems like the brains behind the whole Major WF brand, while Cardona and Myers are the faces. Not that they don't pull their own weight or anything. And they're doing pretty good for themselves. Their live show at WrestleMania 39 weekend was packed and the fans were all fired up. Sterling seems pretty well organized and knows how to work with others and handle his business.
  18. Denise Salcedo released a full video of Khan's live speech. https://twitter.com/_denisesalcedo/status/1698127020046033089
  19. I can somewhat respect Tony Khan for going in front of the live fans and eating a plate of shit, but he shouldn't have said that stuff about feeling his life was in danger. But I'm not a lawyer. Lawyers or legal advisors might've told him to word that out.
  20. I am curious about how what happened tonight will affect morale tomorrow. Like will the roster feel beaten down and depressed over this state or if they will be motivated to prove themselves to the fans?
  21. I don't think the last chapter of this story has been told yet, but when it is, I hope it eventually serves as the series finale of Dark Side of the Ring.
  22. I pray Danielson is OK and ready to go tomorrow and he doesn't hurt himself further.
  23. To play devil's advocate, The Elite did the biting spot on TV, and I think the G2S after they came back. But yeah, all that aside, to do that to Cabana's mother was awful.
