  1. Just wanted to point out how awesome that is seeing Punk and Rollins in that picture. I've never seen that picture before. It's like they knew it'd make ROH fans go nuts.
  2. Marvel's making a killing off of the games mentioned above. I was all in on the Avengers Alliance FB game. I put a fair amount of money into that and progressed pretty damn far. I was excited to play it on mobile, only to see it didn't tie in with FB login. So I pretty much had a to start over. I got into it for a bit, but after a while stopped caring because I just didn't feel like going through it again. If they ever sync up progress with FB then I might give it another shot. That, and Clash of Champions is an amazing game that I much prefer anyway. Gameplay is similar to Injustice mobile but it's so fluid and seamless. I haven't spent a dime and feel no inclination to as I have a nice roster as is. The leveling up system is in great and it's just so much fun.
  3. I live 5 miles from Inner Harbor, yet everybody is worried I'm in danger due to the Baltimore riots. If anything, they should be more worried about my work which is by Camden Yards. Went in today and it was a ghost town. On top of that, had to leave early and went down Pratt St. The Harbor is full of the National Guard. This is crazy, crazy times.
  4. Or maybe it's because if Brian was full-time he'd be busted many times over for marijuana like in the past.
  5. You don't know how much it pains me to say I wish I could take you up on the tickets, but with it being a weeknight it's a killer for me. I really wish this was on the weekend.
  6. Aw, thanks very much! And I am positive that they'll have the whole Pentagon thing make perfect sense. From what I understand he's going to be just fine so all is good. And that's the cool thing about LU. It's certainly not WWE where things are left unanswered. With LU they tie up loose ends and make everything work out. Which will possibly make me wonder why I complained in the first place.
  7. So last week I left my "smart mark" hat at the door and was sucked into the Pentagon, Jr. segment. Last night I forgot where I left that damn hat and was into everything. I was getting flashbacks to that magical time where I didn't know about insider knowledge and all that jazz. It was wonderful. If there was a Pentagon/Sexy match that was unairable I'm honestly okay with that. It was just the right amount of uneasiness with the attacks on Star. When she won it felt like a big deal, though I also felt they could have waited a couple more episodes before doing this. Felt like a blowoff match of sorts. That mothafuckin goddamn trios final was my favorite match this season. It was SOOO, SOOO GOOOOOOOOOOD!!!! I never in my life saw my wife so invested in wrestling before like she was with this. The moves, that Angelico dive, and both times they won just had us hooked. Shit, we even high fived in excitement TWICE! Over a wrestling show! Considering the attempts to find something she can get into over the years, this show more than accomplished that. That episode is not leaving the DVD for some time (or until it comes to On Demand), I just have to see this again. The dive alone we must have seen five times or so. Also really loved Vampiro throughout this. He was so damn excited for everything, the best part was when he just wanted to hug Striker for no reason. And i could go for a gif of when explaining the finals match. He didn't know what to do, so he just did weird things like stretch his arms out or wave at the camera. It was so wacky. I love this show with all my heart. Seeing tromataker fanboying over this show I understand that 1000%. It's so easy to get excited over.
  8. I'll post more thoughts tomorrow when calmer, but: I LOVE LUCHA UNDERGROUND!!!!!! TEN STAR MATCH!!!! HOLY FUCK!!!! Anywho, if anybody's on the fence about this show this is the episode to see.
  9. Am I the only one that appreciates spoilers that don't have some fool's opinions? It's nice having "Just the facts, ma'am". Sounds like a fun show, especially the main event. Though the Neville/Ziggler tag sounds promising, have a feeling Dolph got the pin.
  10. I never could figure out how Greeks not only got awesome seats almost everytime, but why they're compelled to show the flag. Aside from folks like Trish and Batista it never made sense to me. Then again, I'm not exactly complaining about it either. Going back to the point about the writers, it's them but the issue is also communication breakdown. They might have something going on but then it's decided elsewhere to change course and they don't know about it. Would it make a difference if they were movie writers instead of TV writers? It seems like no matter who's in there they're at the mercy of Vince, Dunn, and HHH to a degree. That can't be good for anybody.
  11. Between Piranesi's style watch, Bluetista, the royal wave goodbye and mothafuckin' Drax it's safe to say he won back the internet a while ago. Between being Greek and his excellent fashion choices, Batista won me over long ago. Whenever he does return, he shouldn't wrestle, but rather have his own fashion segment. Him being half Greek (and the tattoo of the two flags) definitely won me over for quite a while until there other things that made him worthwhile. Him and Trish are representing us Greeks quite nicely. And considering the financial shithole they're in Greece needs as much help as it gets.
  12. Looking at the card I might as well set aside money for the DVDs. It sounds like a fantastic show.
  13. I didn't think it was possible for Pentagon, Jr. to not get cheered. He's the coolest mofo around and deserves all kinds of praise. But even knowing about it beforehand it was really uncomfortable to watch. Also didn't help my wife was watching it with me. The way he ragdolled her was unsettling to say the least and there's no way anybody should cheer that. It's a little reassuring that she's a wrestler but man they pulled that off exactly as expected. Brilliant job all-around. In that segment alone Pentagon, Jr. became the best heel on American wrestling TV. There are guys like Sheamus who are hitting the right notes but it's still more "that's great heeling!" With that segment no matter how jaded a fan I can be at times I really wanted somebody to just come in and stop that. Vampiro had that desperate look like "I don't know if I can hang, but fuck if nobody's doing something I will." I'm still not a fan of Sexy Star but this feud might be the thing that gets closer to being one.
  14. That's likely because Austin is way more relateable. With Steve you'd feel at home cracking open some beers and shooting the shit with him. He's like that cool relative that hunts and drinks beers that you talk to at family functions. It's always a good time. With Jericho hope you like that Gray Goose and in particular his Yeah, Boy! combination (it's just fucking Gray Goose with ice, man!) And I'm still a fan of Chris, but I can't see myself hanging with him for a long period of time.
  15. Between Piranesi's style watch, Bluetista, the royal wave goodbye and mothafuckin' Drax it's safe to say he won back the internet a while ago.
  16. Haven't heard yesterday's episode yet, but we're talking Steve/Vince here. They've had many issues before (Example: When he "took his ball and went home") but you know they'll do business. If there's plans for WM this has zero impact on it...especially when it's almost a year away.
  17. So...I guess I'm the only one watching Agents of Shield? If so, that's fine. And honestly, the past two episodes have been mainly them setting up a bigger event going on. Next week is likely the start of that. But it's still fun to watch even though it's not Daredevil (which I still need to finish)
  18. Might not necessarily need to be said, but naked Barbara Hershey in Boxcar Bertha was a helluva way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
  19. I certainly did and was absolutely amazed by it. I feel when wanting to post about him I need to put his name in all caps or put a bunch of exclamation points in there. The guy is genuinely entertaining and I love damn near everything he's doing. Really fun match too. Not sure what's in the Texas water, but that crowd was on fire. It was great seeing them so into it. Also helps they had cool shit to see, from the Dalton match to the Fish Tank segment. Honestly feel the main event is a step down after all that happened.
  20. I'm so excited to see Peelander Z at the Ottobar. They're coming May 14. After the last time seeing them I'm looking forward to this. If anybody else is going let me know. I'll be the fat Greek pretending to be some guy named Mike.
  21. Shit, I'm proud to be a wrestling fan. Been that long before any of these wacky terms existed.
  22. If that ended up being the actual Otsuka and Marafuji, I'd consider you a made man. That might make it worth trying Candy Crush.
  23. I quite like the side view the Edge offers. I'm just thinking how often I'm going to care to check that out. I would have to be pretty lazy to just look at it when any decent lock screen/notification drawer shows the information anyway. Old habits die hard, and I'd maybe just do what I do now, negating the point of the side view.
  24. Did Destination America know beforehand that TNA would go to Europe? What would happen if they tried saying "No Europe" during the talks? That might have made it a bit tough for TNA to agree to. So assuming plans fell through and the deal with Spike was done, for all we know they might have been dead by now. I'd say they're better off shopping for another network, but there's the contract in place. There's no promotion behind it whatsoever so nobody knows they even exist. And DA doesn't seem keen on helping them with that. It's been said many times, but this looks really bad for TNA's future. What makes it worse is that the TV's actually been good with little bullshit.
