Maybe. Since he only played four games and was released long before the playoffs, he may not get one. Every team is different on how they dole out rings so SF might not give him one. The Giants were very generous with the rings the last two times. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Uggla gets one.

No one will remember or care, but Jeremy Affeldt was essential tonight. Shades of NLCS Game 6 when he came in for headcase Jon Sanchez and saved their ass. The Giants are the one team that pays out for their bullpen specialists and Double Play Machine Affeldt is actually worth it.

I remember 2002 far too well to be comfortable. Though the modern/current Giants are really a better road team than a home team. The way the Giants and Royals are, it's probably gonna be whoever scores first.

But now the ball is in the hands of the much more mortal Jake Peavy (or Tim Hudson, if it comes to that) Gotta hope one of them can turn back time for one night.

It's pretty pleasant to watch Derek Carr and realize the Raiders actually have a professional QB. I mean, not that it actually amounts to anything. Of course not. The rest of the team still stinks.
