  1. Better yet, can someone tell him not to show up at WWE shows any more? Or on TV at all any more? Or on the internet either?
  2. Seriously tho the fuck was that shit? Brock and Roman looked like my nieces arguing over a Frozen coloring book...
  3. I'd rather have heel Michael Cole back. I don't wish heel Michael Cole on anybody. Nobody deserves that kind of torture. Bill Simmons does.
  4. Don't forget "three-minute" as in Three Minute Warning
  5. Hey speaking of which... ESPN: The Worldwide Leader In Shoddy, Sensationalized, Lowest Common Denominator Sports Reporting
  6. He was good enough for you to choose one of his catchphrases for your screen name apparently...
  7. I kinda thought their gimmick was a meta-commentary on both the "brass ring" speech and the haphazard and neglectful way the WWE books the undercard in general and the tag division in particular...but I could be wrong...
  8. Well, for starters there's AJ's Stacy Kiebler-level spin kicks...Nikki's clothesline (she should stick to the forearm)...repeating the corner kick spot...the general lack of fluidity...the fact that Divas, even the otherwise solid ones, seem to completely lack the ability to run the ropes effectively...it all just makes for a really awkward spectacle...
  9. JTG and Shad are on either side of Haley Joel Osment when he questions why HHH isn't in prison for hitting people with a sledgehammer...
  10. Also, The Royal Tenenbaums, which as far as I know is the closest thing to a dramatic role he's ever done. And my 5-year-old nephew LOVES Hotel Transylvania. The few minutes that I watched it with him were godawful...and I'm generally a Sandler defender...
  11. It'd be nice if at least people could stop dramatically overstating how un-over Reigns is in the Raw thread every week...
  12. Not especially high. He caught lightning in a bottle. That's not easy to do and he did it. He gets credit for that. But the week to week programming of the top angles was pretty lousy. His legacy is signing up all the top talent he could and then really not giving a crap about anything below the main event. That's why there's so much gold on the old nitros. Random guys who could work were put in random matchups and given time. That's just never going to happen again in a major promotion. On the bold, isn't that basically half or more of raw ever since it went to three hours? Not really. The majority of Raw matches are some part of a booked feud. The problem is that said feuds are generally poorly-booked and go nowhere, with variations if the same match-ups occurring repeatedly (eg. a month of different iterations of Usos/Naomi vs. Brass Ring Club/Nattie).
  13. Apparently the Eagles worked out Hundley, but then I didn't believe Chip's "Bradford is our guy" BS for a second anyway... I guess it's up to each Eagles fan to decide which is the lesser evil...Andy Reid's tight-lipped devotion to secrecy, or Chip Kelly's "lie your ass off" approach...
  14. It's getting pretty hard not to think that Chip is an overmatched college coach who won a power struggle with his GM and now has no fucking clue what he's doing...
  15. They don't do "simple as possible". If they did, Randy Orton would've RKO'd Seth outta nowhere rather than a few weeks of "pretend to be in the Authority" BS. They;d have moved Bryan into a blood feud with whoever eliminated him at the Rumble instead of letting him linger over Reigns' head.
  16. Am I a horrible person for thinking that the IWC was going to crap on that announcement because "it's not a wrestler"? If so, I apologize beforehand. C'mon man they're already stinking up the March Wrestling Discussion thread with this topic...
  17. He's streaky. His 2011 run was fantastic (granted he spent it feuding with Christian and Mark Henry for a big chunk of the year, so that helps) His WWE title run that kicked off this whole Authority thing was fascinating in that he kept having great tv matches, and then failing to deliver on ppv. But he's stale, his act is even more rooted in place than Cena's, and crowds massively stopped giving a shit about him during that last big title run, and only started to again when Rollins took him out and he missed 4 months. He had really fun runs with Sheamus and Barrett too where they just beat the shit out of each other. His biggest problem to me essentially is that the lazy shitty writers in creative think that "THE APEX PREDATOR THE VIPUH!" sells itself and haven't given him anything remotely interesting to do or say since he was still the Legend Killer...
  18. Big Show's "UH UH! WRONG!" was pretty much the best thing about the show. They seem to realize they're gonna lose people for Better Call Saul now cause they don't program jack diddily shit between 10 and 11. I did like the Orton beatdown at the end because I'm an Orton mark, but man did they drag that shit out.
  19. So... ...can we just give Jonathan Banks his fucking Emmy now?
  20. http://www.sportspickle.com/2015/03/the-10-most-racist-nfl-head-coaches SportsPickle weighs in on SAS...
  21. A Season On The Brink by John Feinstein is my favorite sports book of all time I really need to go back and read Ron Luciano's books again since I really liked them as a kid
  22. Mase probably ain't in the top 50 worst rappers to blow up. He just got lazy when he made it big. Ain't no wack rappers on one of the greatest posse cuts of all time son,
  23. He doesn't strike me as a guy who does it for the art.
