  1. Mmmm that's the stuff... Jokes on all of us, he'll come out in a t-shirt and jeans again, take the shirt off and have a Ben Affleck level fullback tattoo...
  2. I understand why they're doing it but boy, I'm glad that after tonight we can stop getting graphics of Brian Danielson in just a t-shirt and pants, it really looks silly with him standing there across from a dude all in full gear. ?
  3. I have talked to friends about this game and described it as an apparently amazing game that I have zero desire to ever play. Just not my style but I can appreciate how it was made and how other people love it.
  4. It's almost as if four fucking people in the booth makes it harder to get a word in edgewise...
  5. Maybe I'm too kind but I'm willing to give anybody jumping to AEW a fair chance. It's a vastly different environment and we've already seen a few folks thrive there versus their previous place of employment. Plus nobody's ever going to force anybody to watch matches they don't wanna watch. Free will, baby.
  6. Normally I wouldn't like the whole "banging somebody in the back" stuff but Britt's been an asshole to Ruby since day one, taking shots at her. You set the tone, you may just get it back. Overall perfectly okay show that I think felt lacking from some of the real big ones they've had lately, and are building to.
  7. And similarly... https://thehardtimes.net/culture/tattooed-barber-excited-to-give-everyone-that-one-haircut-today/ I was in the local punk scene for a good chunk of change and new at least 3 barbers, not so many chefs ?
  8. I remember a while back, and forgive me if I'm incorrect, but there was a story about WWE not allowing Joe Hennig to use his family name because they felt that he hadn't "earned" it yet. I don't know if that was ever confirmed, but it does seem like a very WWE thing to do, and wildly fucking offensive especially in the case of Joe who had to sit home without a father most of his childhood and then lose that father way too young.
  9. I could see Don Callis causing a disqualification of some kinds, which would further the tension between him and Omega. That'll be kind of a bummer for the live crowd but they will have two more hours to sit through afterwards, might help them conserve some energy.
  10. Punk's line about that was great btw...
  11. Rosario Dawson was there. A million billion stars ?
  12. WOW, was there any heads up announcement??? I definitely don't recall one... Such a bummer.
  13. To keep it somewhat clean, basically Caster was saying they all have sex together, you can look up the term for more specific details.
  14. Regarding wrestlers only having a few matches here and there, I think that's perfectly fine as long as they keep rotating talent. Most MMA fighters have only a couple fights a year, so why shouldn't top-tier wrestlers maybe perform once a month? Especially champions... Combine that with the lack of house shows (and taking indy bookings at their discretion) and you'll really keep these men and women rested and drastically reduce wear-down and potential injuries. Meanwhile you've got the YouTube shows to season the younger, less-experienced talent. Overall it could be a GREAT model for the long run. And if people are unhappy with their station? Maybe TK can be the anti-WWE yet again in releasing talent who want to move on.
  15. Yo, you HAVE to take time for yourself. Besides being one of many folks on here who've been in your position, I'm also in the unique place of having a disabled kiddo who, even as he grows older like his two half-siblings, may not be able to be brought to the theater and will always require supervision just so the wife and I can have time alone. It's not easy but once you do it a few times, you'll see that it's beneficial for everybody involved if y'all get a break once in a while ?
  16. I suggest you search "milana vayntrub body harassment" for an answer.
  17. Another thing that really killed the MJF stuff for me, as well as most times a heel is directing insults at somebody in the audience, is that the intended targets completely no sold the barbs. With the assumption that the non wrestlers are in on what's going to happen with them, maybe at least ask them to look upset or pissed off or annoyed? Anything besides mildly smiling...
  18. Okay cool, yeah I'm in a miniscule-yet-somehow-expensive hotel room in lower Manhattan for the night and the TV sound isn't spectacular so I'm happy to hear others have got a better experience!
  19. Also if we're all going to go and get upset about Caster's poor-taste rap, how the fuck do you let making fun of somebody's mother's drug addiction slide and then top it off with saying she should have aborted her son? Seriously, gross cheap fucking heat.
  20. If any non-match segment deserved to go long, it was this one.
  21. Truly the MJF/Pillman segment sucked all the air out of the room and also took up way too much fucking time. Suzuki should go house on both of those fuckers ? Was it just me or was the crowd kind of a bummer? Maybe it was all the Chicago shows but Cincinnati seemed tame. Most of the actual matches delivered, I just wish they had more time, especially the main event.
  22. I'll never understand people's need to repeatedly say who they dislike every time they have the chance... ANYWAY, I think once the pandemic finally dissipates and international travel is an option, you can send a lot of the undercard talent that isn't being readily used on excursions, especially the ones that need a lot more seasoning. There's always American indies as well, where talent is already allowed to work. I also think they should be promoting the YouTube shows more, would it be completely insane to have a commercial to advertise them? Or at least recap them more than just running results as a bottom crawl during a match.
  23. Well they hired her back telling her she would be on the same show as her husband, and then swiftly released her husband, so maybe snipe is in the right word... Conned? Bamboozled?
  24. The reason JR mentioned Hirsch as being good at softball is because she apparently did fucking great at the charity game AEW just did with Pro Wrestling Tees. Agreed on Abadon, hopefully they find more for her to do. A couple other things not as talked about, I was very happy to see The Butcher back and Andy looks to be in great shape! Also agreed with folks here who said the fuckery in the Miro/Kingston match should lead to a rematch in NYC. If you can't give Santana and Ortiz a title match win that night, give it to the Mad King! Also yay to me for half-getting the Cole/Danielson debuts right in that they both came out during the final title match segment ? (though I'd figured Cole would interfere in the match itself).
