What a weirdly paced show with too much down time.

Planning on sticking with the backlog this year but if Ghost Of Yotei comes out, that's a day-one. Speaking of, I started a Backloggd and I'm not sure why but it's Coletti81. I don't give anything actual reviews but it's fun to try and scroll through certain games for systems past and remembering OH I did play that one too!

Games I finished in 2024! Alan Wake Remastered Alan Wake 2 Gris Tunic I Am Dead Doom 2016 Dredge Unpacking Doki Doki Literature Club Dead Space Remake Astro Bot Call Of The Sea Sly Cooper & the Thievius Raccoonus All PS4/PS5, some doubles on both systems, and all but Doom and Dead Space were platinumed. Really enjoyed pretty much all of it and I am forever stoked to live in an era where you can basically only play great games.

I've started playing through the Sly Cooper games now that they're on PS5. You've got to understand, there was a very long period of time between the PS1 era and PS4 where the only game I really played was the latest iteration of Fire Pro, so I missed a TON. These games have aged amazingly well, and after truly enjoying getting the plat in Sly 1, I'm on to 2 with a whole bunch of excitement.

It's always so weird to me that the main guy behind Polyphonic Spree is the singer from Tripping Daisy... Nirvana really was a spectacular band, with two records in a row that were front to back nearly perfect.

Oh cool - just learned that Robert Eggers is from the same small NH town at my stepmother lives in and even worked at the same grocery store that I worked at when my father moved us out there (but I'd go on to my first apartment after just a few months). Very well could've been working there at the same time but I don't quite recognize him, but yeah that's 23 years ago. Wild.

OH wait I remember it's Private Party! They were bullied into being better by Mox and co and they sent the Bucks packing and... there was no follow up? Then Garcia, another dude beaten down by the Death Riders defeated another of The Elite, took his belt and sent him packing and... no follow up? These are the easiest layups ever and they're just choosing not to advance the story?! Whatever, I'm digging the CC and women's division, I'll focus on that.

Lucha rules would've made the Trips Championship totally worth it, and off the top of my head I have no idea who the tag champs are. Also I totally understand people's gripes about Darby/Ospreay not being the main and y'all aren't wrong but I got to see their match and get to bed on time so I'm a happy dude (match fuckin ruled too).

I've seen some people thinking that Steve and Peggy being back might mean that Fantastic 4 and Doomsday take place in the alternate timeline from Endgame where he stays with her after returning the stones. I'd really like to see that happen

Three parts of Rampage that made me chuckle sensibly: 1. Bryce admonishing Bryan Keith by yelling, "Come on, Bad Apple, what are you doing?!" 2. Harley doing Toni's "We'll be right back!" bit 3. Archer getting booed by the crowd and reveling in it, then pointing to himself on the Tron and smiling while saying, "That's me!"

Okami 2 better actually come out, unlike all the Sega remakes announced last year with zero follow-up.

I've been thinking a lot about Dean lately, and how he was such a beacon of genuine pro-wres love and joy. This place really isn't the same without him, and I feel like it's actually affected how I feel about wrestling in general.

It was a thing on the indies AND online for a long time, so people who have been following them as a team (and legitimate best friends) would be fairly familiar. There's even merch with these names used.

First show I've watched live start to finish in a while now besides skipping the Jericho match, and overall it was pretty fucking great despite the crowd. TK please I am begging you, stop running Chicago. The territory has been killed. Brody King should win the whole damn thing.

I played through that last year when it was a free game on PS+ and absolutely loved it, so I'm stoked to see somebody else loving it! Hell, might have to do another playthrough at some point since it came with both PS4 and PS5 copies...

I'm really happy that the overall impression of the show was that it was great, and I hope that in coming weeks we have some actual storyline progression and can really start this supposed new era. I was day-one, but have lost interest in the last couple months. With any luck, that fire is reignited.
