I think there was talk at the time that Washington was deciding between him and Dwayne Haskins at the 15th pick. And, boy, that draft was not good for QBs. You have one good QB in Kyler Murray, one decent QB in Garden Minshew and then a bunch of crap (Jones, Haskins, Drew Lock, Will Grier, Ryan Finley, Jarrett Stidham, Easton Stick, Clayton Thorsen and Trace McSorley)
