  1. RAW spoiler follows... Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman in an Ambulance match. Looking forward to this and Brock Lesnar vs. Samoa Joe. I hope WWE doesn't fuck it up.
  2. I agree with your criticisms. My X-Men ranking be something like: 1. X2 (2003) 2. Deadpool (2016) 3. Logan (2017) 4. X-Men (2000) 5. X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) 6. X-Men: First Class (2011) 7. The Wolverine (2013) 8. X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) 9. X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) 10. X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) I'm looking forward to see what a second viewing of Logan when it hits DVD does for me, if anything. Both that and Deadpool are so different to one another and comic book films, it's hard to rank/compare them. X2 still maintains it's grasp on the top spot but is also one of the best comic book films period. The Nightcrawler opening, the Weapon X flashbacks, the Mansion siege, X-Men having to work with their enemies in Magneto/Mystique and Wolvie vs. Lady Deathstrike. Sony Pictures going Sony Pictures.
  3. Great twitter reaction for War for the Planet of the Apes: https://www.comicbookmovie.com/sci-fi/war-for-the-planet-of-the-apes-a-father-becomes-legend-tv-spot-released-as-first-reactions-hit-twitter-a151873
  4. Shawn Michaels/Mankind In Your House 10: Mind Games didn't have a clean decisive finish but for me, it never tainted the wonderful work before it. I'd maybe only have five matches ahead of it in greatest WWF/E matches discussion.
  5. Rayven is a miniature jack russell so she's tiny. Wait until you see her as a puppy... Our three guinea pigs and rabbit were bigger than Rayven as a pup!
  6. The famous AJ Styles bump referred to by @Phantom Lord:
  7. A good thing from Transformers films, Mark Kermode reviews! A selection:
  8. Transformers movies almost nailed on guarantees where to place them compared to other films. EDIT: Great minds think alike with my friend, @J.T.
  9. Amazing match. My 1996 MOTY and a top ten match in the history of the company.
  10. If you want some Nakamura in NJPW recommendations, let us know.
  11. Skip the show then going by bad booking, finishes. I be like: Especially the Smackdown Live Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match.
  12. I watched William Regal's interview on the Benoit RAW show for the first time last Friday (it's actually the only thing I've ever seen from it). Wow. Yes, it is.
  13. Swagsuke and Becky Lynch. Finn and his demons.
  14. I watched Wonder Woman yesterday. The build to release particularly the trailers but also the posters and WOM reviews went from a maybe to seeing it. I’ve seen the others even with negative reviews. I really enjoyed Wonder Woman, first great DCEU entry and touch wood DCEU builds on the film. Gal Gadot is Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, the relationship between her and Steve Trevor is noticeable. The highlight of the movie is the arrival at the front line trenches in No man’s land, above it, the village battle and celebrating Veld’s liberation. This is already one of the best comic book film sequences, I had shivers through it. I’m getting them thinking about it. Wonder Woman’s third act is a step down from what came before, comic book films either do or don’t and the movie went on a tad too long. The film had humour, in a DCEU one! There are nods to Superman (1978). Having posted my review, I'll catch up on posts about the movie.
