I more amused that despite clearly having plenty of pocket space - Punk runs with his phone in his hand

[Remedial Wrestling] #1: Misawa/Kawada and Friends
RIPPA replied to Matt D's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
Point of Order The list Matt pulled of matches was based on my totally subjective list I quickly pulled in the other thread. I wanted to keep it to a reasonable number that didn't seem overwhelming and didn't make it seem like you were watching every single match in All Japan 90s history. Obviously there is WAY more to watch (and a difference of what to watch). The stuff I picked should be plenty to allow you to fully be invested in the "story" going into the tag match. For the sake of the project - you will most likely want to keep to the set list of matches. And if time is tight - then just watch the last two matches as they are considered by many to be the best singles match and best tag match ever. And as an aside - I am interested in how the evolution of thought around head dropping moves affects people's opinions. Meanwhile - I will pull more research material for you. -
The upcoming timeline
-
yeah - iwd and cagematch both don't count house shows... well most house shows. They do have MSG shows and some bigger shows from Chicago and Toronto But it clearly isn't every single defense ever

[LLDSS] STAGE TWO - HOLLYWOOD BLONDES vs. BRAZOS
RIPPA replied to RIPPA's topic in Other Tournament Archives
God - if I had no morals, I so would be converting spambots into pro-Brazos vehicles of justice right now -

If I can find them - I will try and find JDW notes from the Best of the 90s voting that can act as a guide post for at least the matches Matt mentioned. I know it's available - just gotta find where -
[LLDSS] STAGE TWO - MISAWA/KOBASHI vs. EAST-WEST CONNECTION
RIPPA replied to RIPPA's topic in Other Tournament Archives
Okay - just to help Matt out. If you are going to watch back story Mitsuharu Misawa & Kenta Kobashi vs. Toshiaki Kawada & Akira Taue (06/01/93) 1993 RWTL: Akira Taue & Toshiaki Kawada vs. Kenta Kobashi & Mitsuharu Misawa (12/03/93) Akira Taue & Toshiaki Kawada vs. Kenta Kobashi & Mitsuharu Misawa (05/21/94) Obviously I am just looking at tag matches. And that is more than enough to get you there but if you want to add singles matches Toshiaki Kawada vs. Mitsuharu Misawa (07/29/93) Toshiaki Kawada vs. Mitsuharu Misawa (06/03/94) (THE match) -
Larry Nelson has died
-
Sigh... Yup that was exactly it EDIT - Everyone else please move along
-
I believe you were asked to do something that you clearly are not doing
-
So apparently Lana has a small part in Pitch Perfect 2 (she also is doing the choreography)
-
Oh I should clarify - other's translated and interpreted it. I am far too lazy to do it myself. So blame whoever runs the Voices of Wrestling Twitter. Or Dylan

[LLDSS] STAGE TWO - MISAWA/KOBASHI vs. EAST-WEST CONNECTION

Alive because if he was dead - he and Chicky would have all been up in this bitch -
New trailer. New Thread. http://youtu.be/AvqtBVACZ8Q Eventually I will move the other posts over
-
Hey - I just go by what the Twitters tell me (via translating Jado's own Twitter feed) EDIT - and let's be honest, with the New Japan booking gig, he shouldn't even think about coming back
-
Well with word coming out that Jado is retiring from in-ring due to spinal degeneration - figures it is time for his WOTD. I thought long and hard about doing Jado and Gedo together but I feel better about this. (Granted it is way easier to do a Gedo WOTD as a singles) http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xstjm4_tjp-vs-jado-new-japan_sport http://youtu.be/YQftsSnwEQI

You might as well just buy JT and I XBones and then all of your problems will be solved

[LLDSS] STAGE TWO - MISAWA/KOBASHI vs. EAST-WEST CONNECTION
RIPPA replied to RIPPA's topic in Other Tournament Archives
I appreciate the * you put on there because considering the Tag match I posted above is the greatest tag match in wrestling history I doubt your High Flyers comment is true -
[LLDSS] STAGE TWO - VADER/BIGELOW vs. ROSE/SOMERS
RIPPA replied to RIPPA's topic in Other Tournament Archives
My new favorite thing will be how many different ways we spell Doug Somers name -
You know that if true (fuck even if it isn't) - ESPN is desperately trying to figure out how it can bump World Cup coverage today
-
I'm mildly horrified that this is actually an opinion. Well considering that it was definitely wildly popular on Twitter last night leads me to think that you are in the minority in hating it (Not saying I didn't see others but the majority were positive about it)
-
The alert I just got makes it appear that his agent confirmed him opting out so... never watch ESPN again

[LLDSS] STAGE TWO - VADER/BIGELOW vs. ROSE/SOMERS
RIPPA replied to RIPPA's topic in Other Tournament Archives
Well let's best honest - I am trying to think of what two guys I could put against Rose/Somers that you would actually vote against them
