Well, he had to lose it at some point, anyway! And that IS the entire title lineage, if I'm not mistaken?

Thanks, it was very entertaining!

I’m surprised it took this long for a wrestler to turn six fanny packs into one pair of pants.
Damn, I just thought someone improved upon cargo pants to an Nth degree, but yeah!

Really enjoyed Sydal's run in ROH back in the 00s, but he's basically lower tier jobber in AEW.
And I still enjoy him now, it's just that you don't really see him all that much (well, he was injured at one point, but still). I think he could still produce really good stuff with young guys, more often than he is given the chance to do so at the moment. He could also make a good permanent tag team partner for a young star, not just a life coach he seems to be now.

Jericho got totally duped like a stupid idiot!
Ethan Page destroyed Ruffin, I wonder if the Dark match was longer than this one?
Claudio vs Takeshita? Are you F'n kidding me? This approaches some sort of positive trolling putting out all these dream matches that you didn't even think about before!
Moriarty vs Sydal was nice, but it amazes me each time I see Matt that the roster is SO deep that he means basically nothing. You have Matt Sydal on the roster, but he is very low tier and it is completely fine place for him considering the roster. I can't seem to wrap my head around it. I don't think about it otherwise, but each time I see him wrestle, it pops into my head.
Anna JAS did good work attacking Ruby's arm, but using the brace as a weapon was extra sneaky! She threw it out of the ring very smoothly, too!

@twiztorIf intelligible is a word, then telligible is a word, dammit. We're normalizing gruntled, and telligible is next!
So without hitting that link, gruntled is like "being OK with whatever one's situation is at that point", right? As opposed to being disgruntled.

There's an actual rumor going around that, during his heated argument with TK, Gresham brought up his PWI 500 ranking as evidence of why he should have a certain spot in the company. I want that to be true so bad. That's like the story about the wrestler who tried to cash the gimmick check for the battle royal.
I remember some rumors that Ahmed Johnson did exactly the same thing to Vince in the later 90's. That didn't work out too well, either. If there is any truth to the story.

Today it was 350 push-ups within similar time frame, but started with 100, then 40 and 30 going forward. Similar amount of sets.

He is. The top of his head is the same height as my chin. That makes him 5'3-5'4". Exactly the same height as those lads. He's just had his height less exposed because he's been hiding in NXT UK where almost everyone is under 6 foot.
Yes, definitely in the "same bracket" at least, if not exactly the same same height as those two. My under 5'7" ass had definitely something on him back in 2017, so he can't be much taller than your estimate. Not that it's any kind of problem to me. Not since that Dijakovic match on Youtube portion of Worlds Collide and that was still sometime before the WALTER matches.

The problem with the PPL split is indeed that 6 workouts isn't really doable in a week, at least it's not sustainable. I think you also lose the opportunity to move between exercises antagonistically i.e. Do a push, then a pull, then a push, then a pull etc - I generally think that's more efficient. I also think doing legs the day after murdering the back is quite likely to keep you away from some of the better leg exercises. That being said, I think Upper-Lower splits do tend to put more emphasis on pushes (particularly the Bench Press) and I think the back does need some special attention sometimes. So I think a ULPPL, or some variation of that might be a solid compromise and some people do indeed do something like this - there's a Fierce 5 routine based on that, and Bald Omni-Man on YouTube does something similar (whilst also stretching his training cycle over 8/9 days).
Since this sounds hard af, I'm holding on to my wing it 'til you die program and say to fuck with all y'all!

Y'all haven't had donuts until you come Down Under and hit up Daniel's Donuts in Melbourne.
I'd like to sample those! We have a chain called Arnold's here and I would put their Creamy Pomada or Creamy White Chocolade against pretty much anything (it's not cream filled, it's vanilla custard filled, though), but yeah! Bring it! Those look *drool*

AEW Full Gear 2020 was. It's a contender for Best AEW PPV ever thanks to #FTR vs. Young Bucks 1, Kenny Omega vs. Adam Page and Jon Moxley vs. Eddie Kingston (a match that needs mentioning more). Other contenders: AEW Revolution 2020, AEW Double or Nothing 2021, AEW All Out 2021, AEW Revolution 2022 and AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door. Avoid AEW All Out 2020. Worst by far.
I love that Kenny vs Page opens the '20 version, as they main evented the '21 one! Out of the ones you recommended, Revolution 2020 is the only one I don't have yet.
Shit, this is a fine PPV! I know things probably worked out best for both parties, but a decently edited Cody Rhodes could still be such an asset to AEW, but it is what it is.
Let's see how FTR vs Bucks I stacks up to these recent classics?...yeah, pretty nicely!

Don't think so, no. They pretty much all had some good matches (really liked Mox vs MJF and the first Stadium Stampede, off the top of my head), but I think their thing of having a stacked card where nearly every match delivers corresponds quite neatly with crowds being back.
Thanks. And actually, I meant Full Gear'20 (and I just bought it). Full Gear'21 was the first AEW PPV I bought, but the '20 version seems super stacked, crowd or no crowd. And it WAS possible to already pre-order All Out'22, but I hope the "Get 4 Fite credits back" offer stands for awhile longer.

The gluttony tour continues, @DEAN. Konosuke Takeshita when he returns to Japan will go into hibernation with the food he's consumed.
Maybe he goes into a cocoon and whatever comes out of it is some kind of fucking super-beast that will dominate wrestling on all continents (that have decent fast food and baked goods)?

It' been a few days since I bought an AEW PPV and pre-ordering All Out'22 is kinda pointless, if it's even possible yet. Full Gear'21 was one of those super stacked ones, right? I have everything that comes after that and the 2 PPV's before it, so it's pretty obvious choice, right?
It may sound cruel, but I don't feel like spending actual money on the no-crowd, during pandemic PPV's, unless they are something exceptional. Were any of them that?

I have been doing some resistance band/push-up workouts this week (and last week) but that's about it. Well, this should be the obligatory recovery part of my yearly grind, so I may as well enjoy it.
I did find out just now that it takes some 300+ push-ups to get my chest into a similar pump I get from a decent bench workout. First set had to be 100 or more, I lost count, second was 50, third and everything afterwards was 30. Overall less than 10 but definitely more than 5 sets inside maybe 10 minutes, but definitely within 15. Now I'm chowing down dark rice, quinoa, multigrain mix with chicken tenders and vegetables in cream and white cheese sauce. I'm giving Takeshita a run for his money. You should see the junk I have shoved down my throat these past couple of weeks. Now, I can't do that and still stay as lean, obviously, but I know how this goes by now.

Were any of Jericho's wins clean?
No. Every single one had a shitload of interefence during them, but I guess matches ended with the Judas Effect (some of them at least), so "clean" in that sense.

I'm probably overstating it because I feel it was a MASSIVE mistake to have Kingston lose to Jericho in the barbed wire match, and like you said, Hager has dropped falls, but I can't put my finger on it, it seems that outside of Blood and Guts, they've dominated in the W/L department.
They have been on the winning side quite a bit, absolutely. Eddie got wins over Garcia and Hager, Yuta beat Garcia, Claudio beat Hager. Mox beat Garcia, but was that after JAS begun their run? Other than that, they have won everything. Jericho has now won every singles match since losing to Eddie at Revolution, right?

As a way to celebrate my payday and trying to numb the pain of my summer vacation drawing to a close, I bought the All Out 22 on Fite and was able to take advantage of the "get 4 credits back" offer. Maybe next year I have 20 again.
