I'm not suggesting they're going after both. Just funny how quickly everyone started the rumor mill about guys prefering LA over Minnesota. I was pretty happy just knowing the Lakers had kept their pick this year since season was already done with. Would have been happy with the 5th pick.

Didn't take long for these rumors to start up with the top picks in the draft: and this one...

YES!!!! #2 pick!!! I would be lying if I didn't think the Lakers were going to lose the pick. That thought kept racing up until they got to naming the 6th pick.

If his TV show features his girlfriend on it, people will watch it.

Hoping there is some wacky Wednesday were Argos is on TNA Impact and Argenis is on Lucha Underground. No one really saw that coming 3-4 years ago.

Dario's relationship with his brother is something I'm enjoying. He's got him locked in a cage and then makes jokes about how someone might get stronger than him with the medallion. Also amazed they've kept that a secret for so long.

7-way and Evans vs. Aero Star were fun matches. The Hernandez - Alberto match was thankfully saved by Mundo's turn. I think that could have been the most boring match on the show if they had kept it going.

When they first announced the Sabado Populares shows at Arena Coliseo, they had mentioned using new talent on the shows, but they nixed that rather quickly and just went with the lower card guys who've been around. I dont think they've debuted anyone new. Really only relatively new guy on DF shows might be Esfinge from GDL. It might be the lower card guys this year, but I would imagine we might know more tomorrow on CMLL Informa...or not. Its CMLL, who the heck knows.

I'm not too thrilled about the non-AAA wrestlers in that tournament. Really, right now its just the AAA Dream Team that has me considering ordering the iPPV, but its 50-50. I might save my money to go watch Rush vs. Cage live if that really happens.

LOL! They just aired an episode of that show yesterday and I agree its pretty bad. I'm not a big Simmons fan, probably hate him for being an annoying Laker-hater, but I do give him credit for introducing Zach Lowe and Jonah Keri to my weekly reading. I'm sure those two were someplace else, but it was on Grantland were I finally got to enjoy their work.

I'm torn. I hate both the Clippers and Spurs... Maybe game 7 can end in a draw and they both get eliminated.

He could still back out. I doubt it though since if he backs out again, he probably wouldn't get another shot in the NBA.

They had about 2 months to come up with something better to get Super Fly to drop his mask on Lucha Underground. I agree with Phil on that one. I'm pretty disappointed on the broken arm count for Pentagon Jr. By now, cubs should have enough pics to make a wallpaper for my computer. Instead we're stuck at like 5 or 6.

Rondo joining the Lakers scares me. We don't need to keep burying a deeper hole with our history of point guards lately. Just stick with Jordan Clarkson or draft D'Angelo Russell. That combo would be fun too. Bad enough Rondo's a former Celtic....and Mav.

Guys are given the max when the shouldn't, usually boils down to team being dumb. For all the advance stats guys around the league, all it takes is one. And that one is usually out there somewhere. Watch the Knicks and Lakers get into a bidding war for him. . . Rondo in the triangle offense would be a bad idea. I would think Phil would know that by now.

I don't get why Rondo was considered a max player even before going to the Mavs. (pre-injury Rondo, probably) He's always seemed more like in the $10-12 million per season range, but he can't shoot, he's grumpy, and older and even at that amount its a big risk. Fingers crossed he goes to the Knicks....but...I am worried.

I think Johnny Mundo released a t-shirt thru the prowrestlingtees service. You'd think someone at Lucha Underground would see Pentagon Jr. and Hijo del Fantasma coming up with some cool looking shirts and think they should make those available to a larger audience. I do prefer hearing people tell me about getting t-shirts in the parking lot from them though.

first song I heard from The Mountain Goats was "Best Ever Death Metal Band in Denton". Liked that song, but didn't really listen to anything else at that point. Figured they might be wrestling fans since the Denton reference seemed odd. They released the Chavo Guerrero song and I tweeted that the song would surely be different if they met Chavo in the past. I believe the lead singer was a big wrestling fan here in SoCal of the 70s-80s L.A. Olympic Auditorium shows.

Randle looked pretty good in the preseason. Him Clarkson and this years pick should be a good starting point. I imagine one of the 2 bigs would be ideal. Our chance of grabbing your pick this year is pretty much locked in at 17%. Not great but that is higher odds than getting the 1st pick. I still worry the Lakers will lose the pick. Its been that type of run the past 3-4 years. If they keep the pick, Towns and Okafor would have to be at the top of the board. I'm guessing Winslow & Russell will be somewhere in their top 5. WCS if they slip to 5. I haven't seen enough of Porzingis, Mudiay or Hezonja. Towns or Okafor at center would balance out the C/PF rotation since they've been very under-sized at that position. Get one of those and next year's PF rotation would be Randle/Black (he'd backup at C)/Kelly. They have to decide if they want to bring back Hill. Ed Davis played really well this season, but I think he might leave. Carlos Boozer.....um....he's probably not coming back. (to be fair to Boozer, he played well as a backup) Sacre would still be around as the 2nd or 3rd backup center. There's also the Kevin Love rumor and really only way I could see him coming here if he opts out that would really work is if they drafted or signed a good defensive center. I'm hoping Clarkson's play will sway them away from going after Rondo.
