I really don't understand how anyone can like the Cena/Owens series. The first match sure. But then they just kept repeating the same spots for the next 2 matches with diminishing returns to where I thought both of them looked worse coming out of it.

Sydal has great strikes for a flippy guy though. And is great at selling which is something most flippy guys don't care to bother with.

Fuck that Survivor Series match. If Cena or Reigns had done the exact same thing people would have cried about how they booked them like Superman. I'm not sure why WWE ever even got into that kind of rut. This is a company that was built on Bruno being the tough babyface who beat everyone who tried him. They killed off the territories on the back of Hogan being the American Superhero who beat everyone in his path for like 6 years straight. They killed off WCW by having Austin winning against the odds while the nWo was busy killing off any baby faces the crowd liked. And they managed to right the ship and get things back on track with Cena being the new top guy after things went in the toilet during the "HHH cuts the balls off of everyone the fans get behind" in 2002-2003. After all that, why the fuck did we get the last 2 years of baby faces being made to look like shit?

Why is that a bad thing? People have been complaining about them not paying attention to the ratings going down and not changing anything in response so where is the issue? Shouldn't we be happy that they showed they could write a quality show in an attempt to bring ratings up?
