Part of the booking of Bullet Club initially was that Devitt was Junior trying to challengefor the Heavyweight belt so it was booked that he wasn't going to beat Tanahashi without loads of interference (in theory). Goto went on his excursion, came back and had that boss match with Tanahashi and then he just got tournament win after tournament win. Its a damn shame he never did anything to really standout to make it worthwhile to put the belt on him James

Okada/Tanahashi 1/4 - Yes It's the perfect way to end the best in ring feud for ew Japan for the last years Ishii/Shibata 1/4 - Yes, Just 2 guys beating the crud out of each toher. Reminded of that Hashimoto/Tenryu match where they chopped each other in the face for 10 minutes. Nakamura/Styles 1/4 - Sweet crap yes! This felt like a major match. AJ never felt like sucha major star as he did in this match. It felt like a big fight and totally delivered on that level! NOMINATION Honma/Makabe v. Anderson/Gallows 1/4 (IWGP Tag title) A feel good matchn as perpetual NJ underdog Honma finally captures major gold. The end stretch of this match was just exciting as hell! James

Well The Wife and I couldn't sleep and thus ended up watching the first 5 episodes of Australian prison drama Wentworth. I'm meh on Orange Is The New Black but for some reason I'm totally sucked into Wentworth! Maybe its the complete lack of comedy and it feels grimier James

I think Inoki believed he had some kind of integrity left (in his own mind you understand). Coming out of retirmeent would make him lower than Onita and he would never want to be lumped together with Onita for any reason. James

Onita was using the last of his draw power (which had been severely depleted due to him coming out of retirement) and New Japan's business was starting its decline. The weird thing was, the Japanese press raved about the Chono/Onita match. Onita really wanted to force Choshu and Inoki out of retirement but settled for just Choshu knowing Inoki, even if he did break his retirement, would never do that style match. James

Yeah I enjoyed Macross DELTA way more than I thought I would. With the 2 warring groups of pilots I'm getting a very Chouja Reideen vibe from it and I love Chouja Reideen (which was batshit insane and made no sense). Givent hat the last Macross series (FRONTIER) was the 3rd best in the franchise (not counting DYRL) I've got high hopes. Just wish we had Yoko Kanno doing the music James

The Wife and I needed something to watch so we mainlined Marco Polo on Netflix. It starts painfully dull but somewhere in the middle of episode 2 it gets interesting and then it just builds and builds until... BAM! The last episode is frickin great with a great Kung-Fu fight that was better than anything on Into The Badlands (a show I was digging at first but the more it went the less I cared). Now The Wife and I are waiting on season 2 for Marco Polo after havign watched the 100 Eyes special. Its a show that has some good moments and the acting gets better from point A to point B (considerably so actually) James

I've seen the highlights but not the full match. Still think it was pointless to have Hojo win the 5 Star and then not win the title back from Satomura. I really love watching Stardom, its a damn fun promotion. Even with Act gone now I'm still interested (and it seems Hudson Envy is done there too sadly, as she seems to be hyping Nanae's new vanity project). Also, Kris Wolf is adorable! James
