Yeah. Baseball didn't think it was good. He got 10 games off for it. PCA is appealing

Nah man, he's way too in trouble with the law right now. You see, he streamed a video where he "bulletmaxxed" a "chad" alligator in the Florida Everglades. And if there's one thing the state of Florida doesn't want you doing, is murdering their endangered species. I think he's currently out on bond. That plus he's a fentanyl addict who's come close to OD'ing already.

Amending my statement to note, New York actually has 3 Chinatowns (Chinas-town?) Brooklyn has a Chinatown in Sunset Park along 8th Avenue. It's a bit of a throwback neighborhood because it's very old-school Brooklyn, but also tons of Chinese language signs everywhere. It's pretty much a locals-only neighborhood inasmuch as... a) it's very far away from Manhattan and Queens, b) you'll only be aware of it if you're specifically told it's there, and c) there's nothing touristy anywhere nearby. Still some fantastic stuff to find if you are ever in Southern Brooklyn. -

LSU has signed EuroLeague player Yam Madar to an NIL deal worth $5 million. Two notes: 1) Madar turns 26 later this year. 2) He was drafted 47th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft. This is... something.

If you need somebody, call my name... If you want someone, you can do the same... If you wanna keep something precious... They're strapping a rocket to Trick and it seems to be taking... The man is a hurricane of charisma. He's gonna be huge. Gotta lock it up and throw away the key... You want to hold on to your possession... Don't even think about me! We had an irl wedding! Congrats to the blushing bride and her (formerly?) Evil beau... Very nice, very evil, indeed... If you love somebody, if you love someone... If you love somebody, if you love someone, set them free... On tap for tonight! We have a PLE in... jesus, 2 weeks? Better hurry and book a couple of matches! The OF Open Challenge is not just bad booking because they're clearly spinning the wheels until Roman gets free, but the point of these is usually the one throwing out the challenge has to eventually... lose to someone. And you probably don't want that with your future #1 contender? Eh... whatever. Just let it go Dolfan... (I realized at some point that this video reminded me of that shooting game Revolution X. Did you know that game was originally supposed to have Public Enemy in it?) Enjoy the Memorial Day week!

An asshole online provocateur (redundancy department, line 2) was escorted out of Washington's park after unfurling a large sign with an extremely racist message. He has been banned for life.

FYI -- You walked from Corona (West side of the park) to Chinatown (East side of the park). Yes, NYC has two Chinatowns. The one in Manhattan is by far the more touristy one. *MUCH* more old school. Older restaurants, older businesses, much more integrated in New York. Flushing Chinatown is filled with newer transplants from across Asia (which is also different). Mainly because the Manhattan neighborhood is extremely expensive, especially for immigrants. Plus newer buildings mean nicer digs, and at the end of the day you are both still in New York City. Flushing recommends: Nan Xiang has banging soup dumplings. Corner 28 has great dim sum, but you really wanted to go 5 years ago when they were also insanely cheap (get the duck buns). Henan Hui Man is crazy good and not the usual "chinese food" you're used to (it's from a different province). Corona recommends: Paraiso Colombiano - ridiculous good Colombian food. Rincon Criollo is the best Cuban place in the city. Rainhas is an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse - think Fogo de Chao - but if the people actually fucking cared. They have a grilled cinnamon pineapple that's something you need to eat before you die. But it's Queens... you can go into any random restaurant in there and you'll want nothing but... Paraguayan food (I Love Paraguay in Sunnyside!) for the rest of your life. -
