Facially she's an incredibly beautiful woman. -
Can someone please do that to A-Rod? That Varitek fight was pretty tame compared to this.

The post above was beyond Chrome was being weird and not allowing me to delete the quote box. I tried to quote each of you individually. -

My favorite Michael Buffer memory was watching Nitro with my dad as a kid and my dad just shitting on Buffer. "The main event is starting with 9 minutes to go until 11? It'll take this fucker 9 minutes just to do the introductions!" -

My girlfriend has finally picked her favorite wrestler and it's Big Cass. Interesting choice. -

Also anyone who attacks JoJo or any other Lillian replacement should go back and watch late 1999 RAWs. Lillian was God awful when she started. JoJo is WAY ahead of where Lillian was at this point in her ring announcer development -

Why did WWE stop using Howard Finkel on a regular basis? I know it's been years but there's still no one better. If anything, he should be doing PPVs. -

Speaking of Vince and his weirdness: WWE is doing a house show at East Carolina University (Vince's alma mater) tomorrow night. I know we've discussed it before but Vince's reinvention of himself is truly amazing. How many eastern North Carolina rednecks can reinvent themselves into old rich men from Connecticut? -

I mean, I'm just saying that if I were buying a book by JTG, I'd expect that to be the subject. -

JTG was employed for a ridiculously long time (given how over he was and how he was being used). I'd trust him to tell me how to remain employed by WWE for a long time. -

The Hurricane has been using his WWE name (and music) on the indies for years now. I still don't get how Helms hasn't been sued by WWE since it isn't like he's working totally obscure indies. Even if Helms isn't nailed on the trademark issue, he's using a WWE produced theme. -

Austin also had almost a decade of wear and tear on his body (and the neck injury) before his big run. Cena got his big push relatively early on. -

Wouldn't it be bad PR for WWE to release Rose after ESPN dedicated a large portion of a special to talking about how sick his kid was and how they needed the money? -

In the mid 70s - mid 80s, "Happy Days" was a top show and its entire draw was 50s nostalgia. Nostalgia has always been a big draw in American culture. The wrestling example is bad because the business changed a lot even 1980 - 1985. The WWWF was a regional company so Bruno would not have been a good nostalgia act for non-Northeast fans. -

I'll give him credit for thinking that a Triple H cosplay would save his job though. -

Joan "Chyna" Laurer (1970-2016)
The Nature Boy replied to Cobra Commander's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
Stephanie was also 23-24 when all of that went down. It's not as if she was some predatory boss lady coming after a lowly subordinate. Triple H was already in his early 30s, he should've known better. -

Chyna's death is incredibly sad because of that. She had so many options and could have succeeded outside of the business. It's a really sad story. -

I wonder what would've happened if Chyna had joined TNA on day one. didn't know about Chyna threatening Stephanie. It's pretty clear that Chyna had strong feelings for Triple H and didn't handle the situation well at all. Chyna's background and ultimate fate so fascinating though. She was a college graduate who spoke multiple languages and joined the Peace Corps. Just wow. -
Joan "Chyna" Laurer (1970-2016)
The Nature Boy replied to Cobra Commander's topic in The PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
Having her long time boyfriend leave her for the boss's daughter who then turned around and fired her might have fucked her up a bit. If Triple H had started dating Stephanie and they just kept booking Chyna as they had been, she likely would have been fine. Her relationship with Sean Waltman probably didn't help matters either. -
