I don't think Braun would sell more of anything really. I mean there's no real way to test this but I think if you run with Braun on top, you're already catering to the fans you have while not really expanding your fan base. Plus you have the fact Vince might be trying to sell the company while beginning negotiations for TV rights the company probably doesn't want a guy like Braun as their main guy right now. My personal theory is that the Reigns era will be relatively short if Hunter can get Almas/Vega to the main roster and McIntyre healthy. First off, Braun's not the most popular wrestler in the world. Second off, Smackdown Live's drawn worse than RAW so I take it you're okay with Corbin or Ziggler winning at Fastlane and pushing Owens/Styles/Zayn down the card? Also ratings are down but they're still a top 10 cable TV show so it's not exactly doom and gloom when it comes to RAW's ratings.

The fans refuse to accept Reigns while wearing his merch, watching everyining he does on YouTube, making the company incredibly profitable all the while buying tickets to a show where it was incredibly likely Reigns was going to win the whole thing. If people are spending a ton of money to boo Roman Reigns, then something's working with him because he's getting people to spend a lot of money on him. Now if the fans stopped spending money on him (ala 1995 Diesel/1996 HBK) then I could see where WWE would change course. As for Braun, his biggest problem is he's working for the wrong company. Braun Strowman is a top pro-wrestling heel in a sports entertainment company. If Braun were in Impact Wrestling, he'd likely be the guy Callis/D'Amore would build around instead of Austin Aries. At the same time Braun is probably making good money and maybe doesn't care that he's never going to be "the guy" in WWE. Being this generation's Big Show is a helluva gig that likely keeps him on the higher end of earnings.

So Braun kicks out of every babyface’s finisher, a Quadruple Powerbomb, takes like 5 Superman punches and eats two Spears to finally take him down. He gets to defeat four former WWE/Universal champions and Elias by himself. I am pretty sure he’s gonna be alright. The fact they let him do all that and survive the beating he took makes me wonder if he’s going to be tagging with Rousey against Hunter and Steph.

The thing this video also plays off of is Drake not wanting to make the three count. I rewatched the match and when Drake makes his three count, he slightly pauses at 2 and almost has a look of regret when his hand comes down for the three

I know it would be convoluted to get there but there's still time to get the belt on Elias and have him defend it at Mania against Braun. Reigns/Lesnar doesn't need the belt to be a hot match.

I feel they're just waiting for the right time. For instance this year WrestleMania falls on Rusev Day. Would be the perfect time to give him the U.S. title.

I figure they're setting up some sort of multi-man match for the US Title at Fastlane which gives Rusev a shot at getting a decent Mania match. Now if Mania comes and goes and Rusev is stuck in the Andre Battle Royal then they've fucked it up but they still have plenty of time to get it right

I kind of want the Women's Rumble to be the main event just so we can get guest commentary from Rusev who is elated that Lana made it to the final four.

That's interesting and does make sense why Stephanie is generally booked like Superman. I wonder what crazy things Vince has suggested for her that she spoke out against (besides the incest storylines that were talked about on the McMahon DVD). Also I wonder how many times Vince has pitched the idea of her getting her comeuppance at the end of the story only to change his mind the day of the show.

Because when you pin someone and they use the rope to break the count there's no disqualifying action there. The rules state that if a person grabs the rope the pin count must stop. If a person is in a submission and they get a rope break if the person does not let go of the submission they will be disqualified.

So Reigns has yet to beat Joe right? Also I thought Elias ceiling was upper midcard but I think he's the credible heel world champion Smackdown needs

So my theory on Dolph winning is they want to put the strap on Roode at Mania and they have bigger plans set in stone for the WWE, Women's and Tag Titles so they had to switch the US Title since no other titles were changing hands and not put the US title on Roode. So either Dolph will get a few months reign with the belt or Corbin will kill him tomorrow and retake his title.

Starting at 10:10ish Eva Marie provides a defense that professional wrestling should be considered a sport and that the wrestlers are athletes. Somehow I never expected Eva Marie to be defending pro-wrestling as a sport but 2017 has been one helluva year

I feel like WWE could just place a camera backstage at Smackdown and have it air live on the Network. Having unfiltered Rusev, Gulak, Breezango and the New Day should bring enough entertainment and cost them very little so they can't complain they need to shut it down because it costs too much (Talking Smack)
