I'm still blown away that Adam Driver went to my in town rival high school, lived a few minutes away, and hung around with the same circles I hung around with.

Tommen being the anti-Joffrey isn't exactly good either. The kid is very naive and Tywin is on point trying to toughen him up in preparation for taking the throne. Being in power means having to make the odd shitty decision every now and again because 51% of the cititzens will benefit while others get the shaft. With Dany and her dragons to the East, the White Walkers to the North, and Stannis still apeshit insane, the Iron Throne is a dangerous place to sit. I think it's perfectly ideal. Every time Tywin tried to manipulate Joffrey, you could see Tywin grit his teeth and want to put Joffrey's head on a stake. With Tommen, you could look at Tywin and see him light up realizing he can be the one to pull the strings...until Tommen quickly figures out that boobs > everything else.

I did an audible "Yeah!" when Pod showed up. This show could become so many other things that would be awesome. I would watch the shit out of a Jamie/Brienne/Pod show, just wandering the land, trying to survive, getting into wacky adventures.

It's pretty straightforward when you listen to the commentary, which is what is most wrong with that movie. To fully understand that it isn't a big piece of shit, you need to watch it with the audio commentary and with these visual cues turned on that I think are only in the special edition. Yeah, I bought that fucking thing.

I find almost all of the commentary tracks on Kevin Smith's movies enjoyable, but I still think the best is The Criterion Collection DVD for Armageddon. So amazing. I've talked about it before, but it's pretty much Ben Affleck making fun of the movie and how insanely dumb it is for the whole entire movie, and I seem to remember half of it being done in Billy Bob Thornton's Sling Blade voice...while Billy Bob Thornton is also on the commentary track I believe. I can't believe anyone approved it. It's Ice Cube's "No Vaseline" for commentary tracks. The commentary track on Dark City is also great. Oh, and I highly recommend the commentary on Donny Darko just because Kevin Smith and the director, whose name escapes me, make sense out of whatever the fuck it is that is going on in this movie.

I thought the rematch with Gus is the next fight.

You watched the first 20 minutes of Lost and hated it? You really do have the worst opinions. Yeah...That pilot is amazing. Fuck however one feels about the series as a whole or what happened at the end of it, but that pilot is extraordinary.

The Daredevil series is the only one I care anything about and it better be awesome.
