Liam
As my blog is primarily about writing rather than reading, thought I'd occasionally throw up a 'brainstorming' type article, where I discuss some of the things that I've been turning over in my head in search of That First Difficult Novel idea.An article about sport, and how some of the issues within the sporting world could be used as potential story ideas.http://thatdifficultfirstnovel.co.uk/writing/drugs-doubts-and-debilitating-injuries/
Liam
Technically, the opening chapter to the current novel idea I'm working on.That I've not added any words to it for almost two months in no-way negates that fact >_>http://thatdifficultfirstnovel.co.uk/writing/inadequate-chapter-one/
Liam
Hoping my posting of these snippets might eventually help motivate me to continue pushing on with this story. Liam
http://thatdifficultfirstnovel.co.uk/nanowrimo/nanowrimo-day-1/ Started my NaNoWriMo effort this year. My idea (in theory) is to post what I've written each day on my blog. I'm doing a book called 'My Life in Books I Haven't Read'. It was an idea I had that I wanted to just do something with, so we'll see how it pans out.

Liam
I talk Townsend and Adams, before beginning to consider why I've never read Pullman's 'Northern Lights, even after multiple attempts. http://thatdifficultfirstnovel.co.uk/nanowrimo/nanowrimo-day-3/ Up over the 5000 mark. Liam
Day 9, in which I probably do a really poor job trying to talk about religion. jstout
I wanna do a book review but don't have a blog, so I'll do it here. Review of "The Monster at the End of this Book" by Grover I was all scared during the book 'cause Grover kept talking about there being a monster at the end. But since it was a gripping page-turner, I had to turn the page despite his pleas. But then at the end of the book, I was so relieved because the monster turned out to be lovable, furry Grover. What a great first book for me. I'll try to read a second at some point one of these days. I hope the words are easier in the next one, though. Lawful Metal
I started my NaNoWriMo project yesterday. Given my work schedule, I'm probably not going to write more. Still, 20 pages in about 8 hours isn't so bad. I took ideas from my kids, so it's about Unicorns, alien space battles, and RKO Bro.
