Wallpaper auto-changing

Hi guys

 

There doesn't seem to be a CTDWAT sort of thread in this folder, so i'll just ask here, does anybody use a program that automatically changes your wallpaper at set intervals? I noticed at work that someone set my PC to various bad photos every 30 minutes, I found the option to do it on the computer there but on my own (Vista) it doesn't actually appear in the personalise options.

 

I have a Google around and I find several different programs, but having being burned by wallpaper viruses before i'm a little skeptical to download any.

 

Does anybody here use this sort of thing and could they recommend a safe download?

So, you want something like John's Background Switcher, which you can also download from cNet's download.com if it makes you feel safer. [Just remember to uncheck stuff for installing toolbars, etc.

I have Windows 8 (or whatever the new version is called) I set the background as a Slide Show and chose a folder of pictures I wanted to use. It works great, no extra program necessary.

Slide Show is the option that apears at work but not on my PC at home. I'm sure the work was on Vista too but maybe it was on 8.

i use wallpaper slideshow for my work vista business machine - works like a charm. really low process use as well.
