  1. I was just messing with piranesi along the same lines in the DEXTER thread. There really might as well be no more TV after the finale airs. It should be like whatever happened to all the power in REVOLUTION, except just with TV. Just "Created by Vince Gilligan" then *poof*
  2. I don't think it's a matter of Walt blaming Jack, so much as it is Walt coming back to make what amends he can for all he's done to Jesse before he dies. Like most great tragic characters, he has to have that moment where he tries to set things right before he goes down for good. You saw a little bit of that tonight when he came to the realization that he had irrepairably broken his family and they'd never be together again, so he gave Holly back and did what he could to give Skyler an out so they could have a life without him. When he finds out Jesse is still alive and being used as a slave by the Aryans, he'll do what he can to set that right.
  3. I feel like there are a hundred things I want to say about this episode, but I have no idea where to start. I think I'm still processing everything. Every scene was perfectly callibrated to achieve maximum torque on the knife-twisting.
  4. Pfft. I refer you to King Joffrey on the soft hearts of women.
  5. I feel so sad knowing that your'e trapped in this vicious cycle of watching DEXTER while BREAKING BAD is devouring TV's soul at the exact same time. Literally, this time two weeks from now, TV will just stop, and you'll be like, "Why is there no more TV?" And then someone will have to tell you, "Um, because Breaking Bad, obviously." And you'll have to admit, "Oh, I was watching Dexter during that." You will then be sent to Belize.
  6. Continuing my rewatch of Gilligan-pened X-FILES episodes, I watched "Pusher" for the first time since the 90's, not remembering much about it besides the general premise and it being awesome. I thought it was interesting that the payoff at the end was that Pusher's brain tumor was operable but he chose not to have it treated because he liked the power it gave him. They even explicitly couched it in terms of him being a little man who got a chance to be a big man. Obvious parallel to Walter White turning down various opportunities to get out of the meth business because he loved being Heisenberg.

    2013 NCAAF Week 3

Bizarre finish in the Wisconsin/ASU game. With 15 seconds left and no timeouts, Wisconsin got cute and tried to center the ball for a FG and then quickly get up to the line and spike it, but the QB got extra cute and simply sat the ball down of the turf instead of taking a knee and tossing it to the ref. This caused ASU guys to react to it as a fumble and jump on it, creating a pile that took time to clean up. So it was already going to be close as to whether they could get the spike off. But THEN the ref stood over the ball and told Wisconsin they couldn't snap it, for no discernable reason, and time expired. Strange.

If not for Evans, it would've been a blowout. A 6'5" dude who can run and jump like that is almost not fair. A lot of money waiting on him in April of 15.

Good luck topping that for Game of the Year. And if any game does, I hope to God its not a Bama game.

Nope. I have seen this movie before. Everybody wrote off Cam in 2010, too.

28-14 at the half and Bama gets the ball first, so I should be feeling good, but I can't help but feel like Johnny is just setting us up for the one thing his Heisman reel is lacking: a dramatic comeback.
