  1. So the show in Duluth was actually all types of amazing. I truly enjoyed myself and was legitimately shocked and the ending of the Liger match. Also, War Machine vs. Big Guns (Zeus/Bodyguard) and Strong BJ need to happen ASAP. The main event was actually amazing and told a great story. The wrestlers all gave the crowd what they wanted especially my section who pretty much all hammered and getting themselves over (I admit I joined a couple of times). My match of the night probably was Gresham/Rush (with the main and the War Machine tag coming after that) as the fans weren't familiar and Gresham really worked the arm over Anderson style which was well appreciated since Georgia loves the Andersons. They'll be in Center Stage in January which I think is perfect, and I'll probably go back again.
  2. Explains a lot the last show was sold out, this one has plenty of tickets left. I might end up just getting a refund lol, or bringing a sign that clearly states I'm leaving after Liger.
  3. Is anyone going to the show in Atlanta on Saturday? I don't watch ROH but bought a ticket because Jushin Liger will be there. What should I expect? 4. The quality from the latest Center Stage WCW is perhaps the best out of all the episodes uploaded. Also plants the seeds for Luger's amazing heel run of 1989. Just awesome shit in general you have Muta spraying mist in Missy Hyatt's eyes and then having a fun match with Glacier. This is perhaps one of my favorite eras in wrestling.
  5. They just uploaded a Center Stage show with one of the major pivitol angles under the Flair/Ross booking team with Funk bringing out a fake Flair and STING of all people coming out to defend him. The brawl that ensued is one of my favorites as well. Awesome stuff.
  6. What I noticed was the immediate quality upgrade as far production when Turner buys the promotion. Makes its much easier to watch. Hopefully they put up the Center Stage 89 stuff as that was an awesome period for the NWA.
  7. I was seriously looking forward to Doering vs. Miyahara and Nomura. I'm glad it was detected and hopefully he'll recover as soon as possible.
  8. As a young lad renting Coliseum Videos I felt the matched droned on and on. I guess that is a match I need to revisit because I just remember hating it or fast forwarding through.
  9. Holy hell, how could I forget Doink/Crush. That was fun and Mach was really invested in the match as he was like Crush's mentor or whatever. I could have gone for a Macho/Doink at SS '93 instead of that horrible Bret/Lawler match.
  10. Come on Network post whatever episode of WCW/WWW/PH/ME this aired on: WCW TV-Taping @ Gainesville27. August 1990 @ Georgia Mountains Center in Gainesville, Georgia (United States of America)Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner (c) defeated Fatu and Samu [NWA/WCW United States Tag Team Titles Match]
  11. The only thing I can think of is their match at Starrcade but I'm sure they fought on some TV. The Steiners/SST would have torn some stuff up if given a high profile feud say over the World Tags between 89/90 before the Doom program. Luger/Perfect probably sucks in hindsight, but I think I'm the only one who likes the Narcissist deal (and Luger in general) so I'm bias.
  12. Count me as the lone majority that likes WM 9. Albeit 1993 is one of my favorite WWF periods as a lot as I liked more than one match. HBK/Tatanka, Steiners/Headshrinkers (which felt like a WCW match with JR calling it), Perfect/Luger. I mean, the big matches are duds but I thought the undercard was pretty decent.
  13. Unsure if this is the proper place, but has anyone had trouble viewing the On Demand content on an Apple device?
  14. No one else misses Zenjo? Damn...
  15. Almost shed a tear watching the AJW package... I wish they were still around.. even with 4 roster members and 10 fans in attendance..
  16. I've never heard that the paint/makeup wouldn't come off. That's freakin hilarious. He tells the story of it on Table for 3 on the network. Either way, fuck him and Vince for that shit. Even as a kid renting Coliseum Videos that shit bothered me.
  17. I'm excited if that is STARDOM's show on Fuji TV. Definitely solidify them as #1 and would definitely get me interested in watching again, because the current production values are the primary reason why I don't. Sad about Ray :/ EDIT: It's a documentary on STARDOM and they taped 3 matches at the 1st Ring.
  18. Man, that's great.. any word on if Blossom is their show?
  19. seems to me their gonna build around Kento,Jake lee, Nomura and Aoygi as longterm big players, if they can survive. Dont see any hotshotting happening here. Exactly. I'm not sure where they got this hot shot deal from. Go quit, so they put it on Akiyama until the contract situation eased. It's clear the plan was for Miyahara to take it off of Suwama but his achilles snapped. Miyahara's win ideally should have been at Sumo Hall and honestly they should have just left the belt vacant or put it up in this year's TC, but whatever. I guess Akiyama promised a TC match on 2/12, so we got one regardless to who was in the main event.
  20. ...and Keiichi Sato just resurfaced in Wrestle-1. Must suck to be Jun Akiyama right now. Nailed it... March is going to be fun in All Japan though... 3/12 Shuji Ishikawa vs. Jake Lee Atsushi Aoki & Hikaru Sato vs. Atsushi Maruyama & Masashi Takeda Kento Miyahara vs. Naoya Nomura Jun Akiyama, Zeus & The Bodyguard vs. Daisuke Sekimoto, Yuji Okabayashi & Daichi Hashimoto 3/13 Jun Akiyama vs. Hikaru Sato Atsushi Aoki & Naoya Nomura vs. Atsushi Murayama & Masashi Takeda Zeus & Yuma Aoyagi vs. Kazuki Hashimoto & Daichi Hashimoto Kento Miyahara & Jake Lee vs. Takao Omori & Kiyoshi Tamura 3/19 Yohei Nakajima vs. Tatsuhiko Yoshino Masanobu Fuchi & Gabaichi-chan (?) vs. SUSHI*Kozou & Antonio Honda SUSHI & Kentaro Shiga (could be wrong) vs. Shigehiro Irie & Keisuke Ishii Naoya Nomura vs. Yutaka Yoshie Zeus & Yuma Aoyagi vs. Shuji Ishikawa & Hoshitango Jun Akiyama & Takao Omori vs. Kento Miyahara & Jake Lee 3/21 Triple Crown: Kento Miyahara © vs. Takao Omori 3/26 Atsushi Aoki vs. Tatsuhiko Yoshino Yohei Nakajima & SUSHI*Kozou vs. SUSHI & Ryuji Hijikata Masanobu Fuchi vs. Gabaichi-chan (?) 21. For some reason I just can't get back into it. Too many new faces and the only promotion I loved to watch struggle was Zenjo. STARDOM has qualities I can get behind but the girls retire as soon as they debut these days.
  22. I wonder if there's a Mike Jackson vs. Bobby Eaton match floating around somewhere.. that'd be money. Another wrestler I became a fan of through the 24/7 & Network is Boris Zhukoff. Really good stuff on those house shows.
  23. There's a Arn Anderson vs. Mike Jackson match on one of those shows and Arn has a really good match with him... worth looking for
  24. I definitely missed that, what happened to her?
  25. I mean, when Zenjo was around those last few years I actually enjoyed Nanae and rooted for her when Maekawa was kicking her ass in front of 30 people in Korakuen and stuff. I think I was the only one actually rooting for her back then, but could it be that she was a bitch all those years behind the scene but had girls like Maekawa to check her ego? I could see that happening as it was Nanae, Maekawa, Noumi, Watanabe, AK, Hikaru, and Maemura as the main roster girls with freelancers around. She probably got the big head immediately after Momoe took off because she knew it was her chance to finally shine.
