Shame about Magic Dragon. Gary closes out the chapter of him in his book basically with "Dragon was on his way back to Japan. His airplane crashed and he died." and you're just like "oh shit" like someone sucker punched you.

The truth is worse. He was on his honeymoon, traveling to South Africa for a show when his plane crashed.

Giant Baba has said he regretted sending Sonoda to South Africa for the rest of his life, and visibly cried in the ring during his memorial show.

You're gonna have to explain this one.

She was on Colbert recently and of course didn't/wouldn't go in front of a live audience. I didn't watch, but she did the Colbert Questionnaire later on and boy did she ramble on egotistically. I mean it is all about the person themselves but she felt really full of it.

Streisand exited reality to her own disconnected world decades before Jerry Seinfeld did.

I've been lucky to meet alot of wrestlers over the years. Working in the nightclub industry really helped me normalize interactions with celebrities. It helped that alot of the times I was a promoter/host, so I was on the same side of the "velvet rope" as them.

A buddy of mine owned a venue and become really close with Randy Orton and Ric Flair. We regularly got comped to Raw and had afterparties at my buddy's club. So in the 00s I got to meet most of the WWE roster at some point.

This year was a really good year for me when it came to meeting wrestlers. The FTR show in LA doesn't really count because I paid for a ticket. But later that night I met GiGi Dolin at a karaoke party hosted by Minoru Suzuki. Also met Ernest Miller and RVD that day.

My favorite this year though was going to the Jays game with @HarryArchieGusand Rob Viper and hanging with the AEW crew. @Mookieghana introduced me to Tony Schiavone! Got to shoot the shit with Bryce, Orange Cassidy, Angelico and Eddie Kingston during the game. Which lead to one of my favorite group pictures of all time:

    So you just ignored TARO?

while the camel clutch is a pretty legit move, for some reason, I wouldn't mind Miro having another finisher. The guy looks like he could probably viciously suplex somebody

or hell... give him the Jackhammer

    Give him MIRAI's waistlock uranage.

Well I guess looking for some kind of positives... it was executed well and it probably means less Yujiro in tournaments.

Yujiro is the guy who eats the pins. He'll always get horned in to protect everybody else in the stable.

  9. I've only gotten into joshi the past couple years, so my list is limited and is likely mostly Stardom

    In no order:

Giulia vs Konami - Stardom Dream Queendom 2021

The match that ended Konami's full-time wrestling career ends up being less about her and all about the late Hana Kimura.

Maika vs Himeka - Stardom All-Star Grand Queendom 2023

The final face-off of the "wives" of MaiHime. Including Maika begging Himeka to kick out at the end, because she doesn't want it to end.

Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano & Waka Tsukiyama) vs. KAIRI & Nanae Takahashi - Stardom New Blood Premium

Stardom's lovable loser,  Waka finally gets her first win in her entire career.
