I must've joined right after that, because I remember wondering why y'all were singing Alice in Chains songs. Any time there's a bunch of us in a mission where we're all lining up sniper shots, I always get McManus' Old McDonald bit from Usual Suspects.going through my head.

No chasing in that one, if I remember correctly. Just steal two parked cars from a mansion and take them back. Hardest thing is losing the wanted level. Of course, if the clown that tries to hack the gate can't get it open for 20 minutes, and the game won't let anybody other than him try after he's started, then you're still screwed. That's one of only 2 times I've intentionally failed a mission - in that case to put us all out of our misery.

I'd guess the Fuck Simeon sentiment is pretty much universal. Lamar is a close second though. There's a reason everybody spams Martin and Lester jobs. Even Ron has a few good ones.

Sorry I had to bail out on y'all yesterday. Wife's birthday trumps GTA though. I got into a server with JT and melraz who were surrounded and deeply into kill all white dots mode. They had somebody cornered in a parking garage, and I was right outside it taking cover after blowing up a personal vehicle inside the impound lot, when I saw somebody in GSF colors run past. I fired about 10 shots before I realized "Shit! That's JT!" He got me back later with an accidental insta-kill punch to the back of the head while were both trying to take out another guy. Apparently everybody in this game has mastered some kind of Shaolin Fist of Death, because a basic punch is equivalent to a headshot from a Barrett M82. I was on the server for maybe 20 minutes, blew up 6 personal vehicles, and still managed to get my bonus for good behavior. Last 2 dudes were tough though. Both were up on me when we left to start doing missions.

I got bored of the brown jeans, so I decided to swap to running shorts and the Los Santos Belle t-shirt. Paired it with purple heels, instead of my usual skate shoes. It's a rather fetching look. I got completely baffled in the first DM Tuesday because JT had switched from a black leather jacket to a brown one. My brain just couldn't adjust.

In order to get the Numero Uno achievement you have to come in first in: - A Deathmatch - A Team Deathmatch (some say you don't have to be Team MVP, but they aren't sure) - A Vehicle Deathmatch - A Standard Race - A GTA Race - A Rally Race as a driver or a navigator - An Air Race - A Sea Race - Arm Wrestling - Darts (can be set to minimum levels) - Tennis (at least a single set) - Golf (can be set to play just one hole) - Complete all waves of Survival (some say with max kills, others say you just have to live) - Gun Range Shooting Challenges (some say one challenge is enough, others say you have to win all three; Target Grid and the others which I forget) - One Parachute Jump (some say can be done solo) - One gang attack and get max kills (can be done solo) I know you have won a vehicle deathmatch because Robert and I personally thew the helicopter deathmatch to you and Mark during one Jobber Thursday. A lot left to go for me then. I've got the DMs, and I got the last race on the last job day. I won at darts once, and finally lucked into a parachute win. Still need golf, tennis, arm wrestling, and the shooting range. Only way I'm winning those is via a deliberate job. I might be able to lose at tennis against an empty court

But you never change your outfit or your hair. You, Rippa, and Dolfan make me feel bad because I don't wear suits and prefer the urban commando full battle rattle of leather jackets, jeans, and work boots. I am way too OCD to not change up my outfit before heading out of my apartment. I don't change my physical appearance because I hate just about every hairstyle and beard at the barber shop. Oddly enough, I've never run into another character that looks quite like mine. I guess the soccer mom turned goth sideshow freak look is out of fashion this year.

The one time I tried to shoot them with a rocket launcher, I shot 3 DAMN ROCKETS at them and missed with them all. I could hear them laughing in my head. It reminded me of the time I was whizzing about 20 rockets all around Rippa during that Capture, who I couldn't hit with a rocket EVEN THOUGH HE WAS IN A DAMN GREYHOUND BUS. There are times where I'm like "God, man, could you be any worse at this?" I have plenty of those moments. Accidentally blowing myself, and my personal vehicle, up with a sticky bomb after I got too close to the armored car I was trying to hit yesterday was one. Or when a guy ran me over in reverse 6 times in a row a few days ago without me ever managing to get a kill on him.

I'll go after lower rank folks intentionally sometimes, and I've run into a few that can go (likely higher lever folks on their second characters), but this guy seemed genuinely inept. Anybody that goes after me is fair game, and sometimes I do succumb to melraz's kill all white dots bloodlust. I'm completely useless at grenades, but I've become pretty damn good with sticky bombs. I end up using those like grenades in a lot of cases. They're much easier because the timing and eventual landing point is much more predictable. I'm not much good with the rocket launcher either, though I did get the guy who was down in the tunnel armed with a minigun with my RPG yesterday. It was his own damn fault though. He was standing next to his giant, lime green sandking. I couldn't see him, but I could see the sandking. I ran in, did a combat roll to dodge the minigun rounds, shot the RPG at the sandking, and ran back out. Either the RPG or the explosion from the sandking took him out. I don't think I could've pulled that off if he'd been in there without the truck. He wasn't very bright though. First kill on him was when I shot him in the top of the head as he lumbered along below me with his minigun. He brought the wrong weapon to that fight - made him an easy target, and he had no way to auto target me.

I spawned into a server at one point and had 2 people right next to me. Took them both out and blew up both cars. One took off, but I got the other a bunch of times. I was taking cover, being super careful, and sniping him at long range. After a while I looked at the rankings, and noticed he was level 4. Went from feeling like a badass to feeling like a dickhead in an instant. I'm taking long range shots with the heavy sniper, and the poor guy only had a standard pistol.

Logged on late last night because I wanted to get 3 more assault SMG kills to get my orange tint. Got into a public, and the first thing I saw was a Simeon car. Couldn't get into the LSC downtown, because some fool was already in there, but noticed an Entity right outside for some reason. I threw a sticky bomb on it and started to drive off when somebody on a motorcycle showed up. I drove off, but when I set of the sticky I got messages that I'd blown up 2 personal vehicles, and killed somebody as well - I imagine the person on the bike. Parked the Simeon car downtown after finally fitting it for a bomb, but nobody went for it. Some dude came at me in a firetruck, but I took it, and him, out with a minigun. Got 2 SMG kills when he came at me twice in a row on foot. By that time, I was at 5 star wanted level and surrounded by cops, but I saw a dot coming at me fast. It was the same dude on an Akuma. I shot him off of that to get my tint unlock, and then threw a sticky bomb on it. I ran to hide from the cops and watched his dot. When I thought he was close to his bike I set the sticky off, and was rewarded with messages that I'd killed him and blown up another personal vehicle. The best part was when I looked at his level - 999. Well earned, that.

Minor FU to my left ear. Woke up this morning and couldn't hear out of it. Infection in there turned nasty pretty quickly. Add that to severe nerve deafness in my right (rifle shot with the muzzle right next to my unprotected ear) and I can't hear/understand a hell of a lot at the moment.

There are people that can handle the minigun fairly well. I am not one of those people. Ran into a guy in a DM thar had orange tint, which is 400 kills minimum. I only use mine on choppers, or on cars that are too far away to hit with the RPG. It's really hard to go wrong with the combat MG.

Pretty much anything I do in a race could be described as unintentional at this point. I've gotten really terrible at them, so I have to count on everybody else taking each other out to get my occasional win. I mostly try to stay out of the way, but still managed to hit about half a dozen folks in that one race on the east side of town. I feel bad for anybody that bets on me in a race, especially if we're on motorcycles. I found it hilarious that I won my first ever competitive parachute match while I was on the phone. Apparently arguing about design fixes with Malaysian engineers massively improves my parachute skills.

Are you sure you can't wear the blackjack and 7 deadly sins at the same time? I can't check now, but I could swear I'm wearing both. I think they go on opposite sides of the chest. I think you still have the best K/D ratio of anybody other than melraz. His is just ridiculous.

I was going to buy a Vestra until I saw that they were only two-seater airplanes and I only wanted one was sake of completion to cover all of my hardware access baases. Player owned planes don't really have much purpose in game other than to help folks survive bounties without staying in their homes... at least until someone decides to brave Ft. Zancudo and get a fighter jet. You're right on the owned planes. I own most of them from back in the free money days. Never used one even once.

Man I was hoping the update with extra garage space would be today. I've got 3.3M virtual dollars burning a hole in my virtual pocket, and I want to spend it on 10 more virtual cars that I don't actually need. I'll probably be online early, but I'm gonna be on mute for part of the time again. Having to find convenient times to meet for both Austin and Penang makes for screwy meeting times.

I know melraz has sent crew invites to folks, I know melraz has sent crew invites to folks in game (usually to low level guys that he's killed 983 straight times) so I'd assume a high ranking fellow such as yourself should be able to. I tend to get them on the rare occasion where I kick ass in a DM with random folks.
-
Yeah, anybody with assassin is on my kill list, along with anybody that has reaper in their name. Unless they're in the REAP crew. I've run into them a few times, and most of them can kick the shit out of me. Anybody with 420 tends to get targeted, as do folks that have obviously cheated to get to their level. I ran into somebody called 804juggalo in free mode a while back, and inevitably thought of JT.

In no particular order, other than #1 is miles ahead of the rest. "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way" - Waylon Jennings "I Ain't Living Long Like This" - Waylon Jennings "You Know How We Do It" - Ice Cube "Gangsta Gangsta" - NWA "Mind Playing Tricks On Me" - Geto Boys "The Next Episode" - Dr. Dre/Snoop Dogg/Nate Dogg "Radio Ga Ga" - Queen "Bored of You" - Agent Orange "Night Moves" - Bob Seger "We Never Fear Dem" - Vybz Kartel Other notes Yes, I'm old. Obviously If I made a list of my 20 favorite songs overall, "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way" would probably be on it. Most days that's my favorite Waylon Song, and that's a high bar. "Whiskey River" would've been #2, but I just don't like the version they put on the soundtrack. It doesn't have the energy that the standard radio play version does. I've seen him play that song live a crapload of times, and even now with his voice clearly giving way it sounds better than the GTAV soundtrack version

Sorry about taking that shot at you late in the game. I thought you were Mark going for another car. I had to bail out because my wife wanted me to take her to church for a bit. Probably wouldn't have gone over well to refuse so that I could play even more GTA. Tried to get on with the nite shift later, but my shit crashed twice in succession, so I gave up and passed out.
-
Yeah it didn't even give a message you left. You just disappeared, even from the party. I just figured you'd had a freeze and had enough. I was only on about 15 more minutes. nite shift almost lost two members earlier. melraz and I did a team DM with random folks. The two of us got on a team with a level 80ish dude and a level 30 something. Other team was only two guys, one level 50 or so, and the other level 13. We figured if we lost we'd have to hang our heads in shame and never play the game again. And, damn if it wasn't close. melraz got the final kill to give us a 30-29 victory. Level 13 had the most kills of anybody, and our two teammates were worse than useless. We were both getting legit nervous that we were gonna lose that thing. Then we spawned in freemode with the level 13 guy, and killed him 9000 straight times till he left to console ourselves.

Oh, and somebody was pissed off at stout last night. Guy called in at least 2 merc attacks and a mugger in quick succession. Stout must've pissed on the guy's cornflakes in the past or something, because I don't think we'd even run into him until after all that happened.
-
You're where I got the idea in the first place. It was Simeon's vehicle. I managed to catch the guy coming out of the LSC. I was a little worried he would do to me what I was planning to do to him, so I was quite relieved that it didn't blow up when I got in. Guy was pissed I imagine. Sticky bombing his Adder probably didn't help.
-
I gotta stop blowing up personal cars, but they're irresistible. I blew up 2 Turismos, an Adder, and Entity and at least half a dozen other things last night. Somebody had a personal Crown Vic for some reason. Can't imagine why anybody would want one. Cost me about $150 for that one. Overall, spent about half of the 220K I made doing missions earlier I ran into one guy after stout left that just kicked my ass, like 6 or 7 kills in a row to no deaths. He kept pulling a trick of reversing into me with an Infernus, and he was damn good in the free aim. I was using my combat MG, but couldn't hit the bastard, and was too slow with the grenade/RPG. I gotta learn how to do that. Pulled a total dick move for my 9th ignition bomb kill. Shot the guy out of the car right by LSC, drove it in and set the bomb, and drove back out at the guy. The only problem was that stout didn't know what I'd done, and thought I was legitimately going for the car, so he rolled up on the guy. I made myself a target and the guy managed to get both of us. Stout's and my conversation was something like this: stout: Crap, he got both of us. Try to get him when I respawn. me: don't worry about it, I got it covered stout: What'd you do? * sound of explosion * me: that I think melraz and I mighta broken the chat between his response to my story about my ex's mother, and me laughing my ass off in return. Hope I didn't deafen anybody, but that was too damn funny. And disgusting.
