  1. People have been dressing ridiculously at the Derby forever. Good for them for taking it a little crazier. He looks like a million bucks and he's about to con a town into starting a boy's band.
  2. Nope. They're looking to local TV in the future possibly. They have a YouTube channel with some matches and their monthly recap videos, though.
  3. I just watched "Hendrie" the Phil Hendrie documentary. It's pretty great. I was laughing my ass off.
  4. After one month on the job DJ'ing at The Bustop, I completely realized that Strip Clubs and wrestling were pretty much the same thing. We sold fantasy to marks, the dancers kept kayfabe by pretending they liked the customers, it was an athletic performance in little tight outfits, the real money was in selling booze/ merch, I did the intros and played the music, it goes on and on. Only thing is, if someone yelled "YOU FUCKED UP!" we'd most likely have " escorted " said " fan" out the door.
  5. I got paid. Also, a strip club in Boulder from 2006 -2013 is gonna be a little different. The only truly awful musical time was when dub step got hot. That was unbearable.
  6. Shit, I was a strip club DJ for seven years. I didn't wear daisy dukes and a half tee, though. If that had been the uniform I'd have looked like Meanie by year four.
  7. It looks like my pals at BOOM Pro Wrestling in Vancouver are getting some attention lately. Brady Malibu and Max Mitchell were on Jericho's podcast two days ago to talk all things BOOM, and Alvarez was at their show last night and he's been praising them on Twitter today.
  8. If TK comes out wearing KK's "The Conqueror" vest and pointy hat I may briefly stop hating this angle . No one wants Tony as a character. At first, he was insistent that he would not be one, and now here we are. Again, pointy King and I hat, Coach TK, and it's all good.
  9. Oh by the way, to the surprise of no one, I bought that tye dye Bayley shirt that she's been sporting lately. It's on its way !
  10. I just saw an ad on SD for that stupid show where do an American Pickers rip off that I've never seen. This one apparently is Miz "trying to buy" Flair's shit and Miz is roasting him about how much money Flair spent on shit. So I'll be watching that.
  11. Someone buy me that tye dye Bayley shirt, respectfully.
  12. I grew up watching reruns of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir TV show with Charles Nelson Reilly. I saw the movie when I was around 10 and I was so confused. It's an awesome film.
  13. To add on, I've seen Colorado Eagles hockey at that Arena in Loveland, and it's awesome. It's also where I saw a few WWE House shows over the years, but not in awhile. They moved their house shows to the Late, Great First Bank Center in Broomfield outside Denver until business got hot here again around 2021. Now every show is in Denver at the Ball Arena. I went to two Dynamites at the FBC, lots of WWE shows, and lots of concerts. That place ruled. Anyway, as I ramble on, I also saw TNA at the Loveland Arena back in 2009. There was about 249 people there. And it was a great show. The main event was Samoa Joe vs AJ Styles, Homicide was on the card.....the last time I'd seen them was three years earlier in ROH in front of way bigger crowds. I had a blast though and so did the other 248 people. edit: I also had Earl Hebner give me his autograph even though I didn't ask for it. I got Hebnered. I was at ringside after the show where I watched a scene go on in the ring that involved a poor woman who looked like the mom from Gilbert Grape get in and out of the ring to have her pic taken with AJ Styles. As I'm watching all this with my ticket stub in my hand, Hebner walks over and signs it like a fucking big shot, then moves on as I'm surprised. Im hoping for a fun show there. Lots of good vibes in that place. Shit, I took my nephew to Wild Kratts Live there and he saw Cena there when he was five, when Cena, Mysterio, and New Day were his heroes.
  14. I got an e mail yesterday announcing that AEW is running Dynamite on my birthday 6/5 in Loveland, CO. Pre sale was today so I grabbed tix for me and my bud. To be honest, my interest in AEW is at a low point but live TV wrestling 40 minutes away on my birthday? Shit, I'm down.
  15. Actually, WWE has been running a lot of house show tours over the past two or three years. They just announced a bunch more on RAW tonight. It's not like the 90's grind, but they're out there touring.
  16. It's cold as fuck, it's open air, and by the main event people were tired. There were times the crowd was trying to sing Rollins song but without the music, it was tons of people going " Ohhhh, Ohhh, Oh" unsynchronized . So it sounded weird.
  17. The show was incredible. It was so great to hang with Pete and Ray again after all these years, and to get to meet in person so many cool folks from the board/ internet. Makabe was a guest on one of my podcasts a few years ago, and getting to talk and hang with him a bit was a blast. The entire night was amazing.
  18. I'm at the show, just came from having a pre show feed with Nick, Chris, Pete, Ray and Bix. It's amazing here.
  19. You just need your e mail confirmation .
  20. Again, a couple of us are meeting at https://www.palermopizza.online/ at 6pm. Come on by, and check out that menu. Calamari is on me.
  21. I just arrived at my folks place in South Jersey after getting fucked by the car rental company I used. Countdown to Thursday night is on!
  22. My favorite part of watching old Memphis is seeing all the parts of what will be some of the greatest tag teams of all time, just floating around together. It's like the universe settling down after the Big Bang.
  23. I just put all the finishing touches on my trip home for the show. Nothing left to do but be in vacation mind for the next week at work. One last thing, theres an Italian place 7 minutes away from the arena that looks awesome and they take reservations. https://www.palermopizza.online/ Let's pre show with pizza and calamari. If you're going and are down for a get together, I'll take care of making the reservation. As long as that doesn't cost anything. Ya never know...
  24. It was so fucking cringey. Like douche chill cringey.
