  1. Again, my problem isn't that Cody Rhodes lost - just that WWE is expecting fans to be happy with what they did, pay their money to show up at the next Raw or at the next PPV. At this point, they just as well be back at the Thunderdome if they keep this up. Roman Reigns at the presser talked about what they are doing wasn't like McDonald's or TikTok. "We're making filet mignon." Except it's filet mignon being done terribly. WWE doesn't need Roman Reigns as Double Champion to be relevant. (Also some people on Twitter are taking it too far by wishing Reigns's leukemia would kill him. I get the sentiment and don't agree with it, but just stop watching at that point since the outcome of Reigns losing the titles won't happen. And yeah, I know wishing the crowd would riot and attack Reigns is bad and very extreme and almost at the same level - but like I said earlier, pissing off lapsed fans or fans that have been around since the near beginning isn't going to help people stick around or grow the audience)
  2. Yes, I'm trolling. But if WWE doesn't want lapsed fans back like me....this is a great way to do it.
  3. Before people jump down my throat about wishing people in the audience would hurt Roman Reigns.....let me explain. WWE have essentially killed ANY babyface looking to build momentum and win the title off of Reigns. Drew McIntyre is now a midcard wrestler. Edge is nowhere near the main event now. Brock Lesnar hasn't even bothered going after the titles. Now the same thing happened to Cody. He won't be in the main event spot again. He'll be in midcard feuds (hope leaving AEW where he could have been AEW Champion RIGHT NOW was worth it Cody). It's obvious the WWE doesn't listen to the fans, so the most extreme reaction (such as fans hurting Reigns) would remove Reigns from being on TV -- the thing is, the fans won't do that. They'll sabotage the show with chants or just won't show up at PPVs. We'll have the piped-in crowd noises we've gotten in the past except it's with a guy who can barely speak up in promos closing in on 1000 days of a title reign. Besides who would the WWE build up next for a title match? The Rock? MJF (seriously MJF don't sign with WWE, look at what they did to Cody)?
  4. Partially serious. But eventually whatever audience that is left for WWE won't be back to hear Reigns drone on and on every week. It's borderline HHH "Reign of Terror" territory.
  5. Not to be a jerk but fuck it....I hope fans at Raw tomorrow attack Roman Reigns. Don't give him a chance to speak and do his boring promos talking about how he won, etc....they should try to hurt him. Because, eventually what the WWE is doing is going to backfire on them. Oh and I cancelled my Peacock service after the finish to the main event.
  6. Brock vs. Omos wasn't good at all. Typical “Brock just cashing that check” match. Yes, Omos got put over by Brock – but Omos just isn't that good. If it went longer, it would have been one of Omos' better matches but he's just not there yet. The women's showcase match....oof. They had dives but they were sloppy. The men's showcase match was better because the spots were absolutely impressive. Shayna Brazler got injured in the early parts of the match (at first I thought Ronda & her were just like “Fuck this” and walked out) and the finish was deflating to watch. Gunther vs. McIntyre vs. Sheamus is one of the better triple threat matches I've seen. I like how the match was focused around strikes although I didn't like them tossing out finishing moves for near falls though. Belair vs. Asuka is Belair's best match. Not as good as Rhea vs. Charlotte (which is an all-time classic), but nothing is. Wished Asuka busted out a Shining Wizard or a moonsault like her hero Keiji Mutoh, but still a great match. Yikes....Shane McMahon comes back and hurts himself on a leapfrog. It wasn't his quad, but his knee maybe his ankle. Snoop Dogg had no idea what happened and got told by the ref (or the Miz) to do an audible. Edge vs. Balor was a bit of a letdown – not as crazy as past HIAC matches. I wonder if Balor getting hit with the ladder stopping the match was out of concussion fears. I can't tell if Balor got busted open or not. At least no one dived off the top of the cage. Reigns vs. Cody is the slowest paced match I've ever seen....I'm not really a fan of how Roman Reigns does his main event matches. They feel like the same match regardless of opponent. Reigns does his moves....there's a lot of stalling and a lot of selling then interference. Then a ref bump. Then more interference. Then Owens & Zayn hit their finishers...yet the match doesn't end. All other matches (like Rey/Dom, Rhea/Charlotte, Owens & Zayn/Usos) you didn't want to end....then, that finish. Seriously, fuck Roman Reigns. I don't get why the crowd didn't start throwing trash into the ring or a few didn't jump the barricade and beat the shit outta Reigns.
  7. When Paul Heyman talks about money, you better ask him if the checks will bounce.
  8. Or, on the flip side of it, "new company, new champion."
  9. Feud with The Rock for the titles, maybe? Have Sami Zayn or Kevin Owens go after the titles again? But yeah, they're running out of road for Reigns as Double Champion.
  10. Dom seriously is one of the best heels in wrestling right now. He spends ONE NIGHT in jail and acts like he did five years in prison. His entrance last night was ridiculous, over the top, hilarious and just makes you hate him. He's seriously Eddie Guerrero in 2023 and he can only get better. Dom doesn't need to spend 20+ minutes to tell you that he switched places with his girlfriend in a car accident or how he had his fiance leave him so now he's unlovable or how he thought about suicide because William Regal won't return his phone calls, he just yells "SHUT UP MOM" and gets booed out of the building.
  11. Yeah, the matches I saw last night (and this is after not watching WWE and watching a few AEW matches here and there) were incredible. It makes me wonder what would have happened if Vince McMahon was still booking the show (we'd probably see the Usos win and have Owens turn on Zayn).
  12. WHAT.....nooooo. One time I actually received mail addressed to Ryuichi Sakamoto. I didn't open it and took it back to the post office. I later found his email address online and sent him a nice email explaining the situation (although I did feel bad that I received it in the first place).
  13. I'd almost rather the tag titles not be on anyone with the Bloodline for awhile - maybe have Roman/Sikoa fail against Owens/Zayn too (mistimed interference, Roman or Sikoa walk out on the other one, maybe even Roman eats the pinfall depending if he's still WWE/Universal champion after tonight). Honestly, there's so many tag teams right now in WWE that Owens/Zayn could have classics against for months (Street Profits for sure, Alpha Academy definitely, Viking Raiders would be interesting, dig out Bobby Roode/Dolph Ziggler for a title shot, even Strowman/Ricochet would be great).
  14. Crap, sorry for providing my thoughts mid-PPV. I was 'eh' towards Cena/Theory because there was a LOT of downtime in the match with Theory having to showboat due to Cena being gased (apparently). Fatal Fourway Men's Tag Match was a trainwreck and fun to watch but I still feel like they called an audible. HOLY SHIT at Gable German Suplex'ing Strowman. I was more surprised by that than Big Men Flying Off The Top. 6 Women Tag Match was okay but Lita and Trish seemed a little off (Lita more than Trish). I do want Bayley to get a title reign at some point. I halfway expected Sasha Banks to show up since Snoop Dogg was there. Rhea/Charlotte was probably the best Charlotte Flair match I've seen. Her wrestling moves still don't look good and come close to looking fucking painful. I seriously hope Rhea has a long title reign and doesn't have to feud with Ronda Rousey (which would require us to have to hear Ronda talk on the mic as the crowd shits on her completely). Maybe Ronda can go to NXT if she doesn't like it. Rey/Dom was great in the Ruthless Aggression Era main event style and Owens/Zayn vs. Usos is probably one of the best tag matches I've ever seen (up there with Rock N Rolls vs Midnights or Steiners vs. Williams/Gordy).
  15. Rey vs Dominik was a fine Rey vs. Eddie Guerrero match....could have done without the interference though. Probably Dominik's best match (although he needs to go to NXT and refine/better his abilities though). Michael Cole seemingly strangely mad during the match at Corey Graves and then apologized afterwards (weird).
  16. Fatal Fourway tag match was a trainwreck and I wouldn't be surprised if they called an audible due to guys getting hurt for their spots (that superplex into a powerbomb with a Ricochet crossbody looks especially hurty). Logan Paul ripped off Shawn Michaels' entrance and didn't get much of a reaction. Ouch. And Seth Rollins wears an outfit that looks like Bret Hart meets The Fifth Element.
  17. I may be getting a PSVR2 but it's likely to be towards the end of the year. Although that may change and I may decide to go ahead and get the Horizon VR bundle.
  18. Let's not sleep on Orange Cassidy vs. The Butcher. It might be one of the better 'big man vs. smaller man' matches in awhile. Although I hope Jarrett does a Memphis style run in and give about 20 piledrivers to OC while the ref is knocked out only for OC to kick out.
  19. Yeah, I don't think it's really fair to call it that. Although they didn't show us any of the dungeons / shrines / new places we'll go, it's possible the mechanics will have an use in those places. I do wonder if there's a limit in how much can be built at once (like someone took the time to chop down a bunch of trees and used a lot of rocks to make a tank). Imagine if there would be something so large in-game that it causes it to crash. I think we'll see people attempt that once TOTK is out.
  20. I don't mind that Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a slight retread graphically (like God of War Ragnarok is said to be) but the gameplay still looks a bit boring. Now they added Scribblenauts / Dead Rising weapon and vehicle creation/customization.
  21. There's no guarantee that it's coming back and no guarantee that there won't be a new trophy list. I'm skipping doing Multiversus because the trophy list looks painful (and I'm trying to Platinum Syndicate before June 15 2023).
  22. Go for the 100% now! (Seriously you don't have to - just play, complete and Platinum the games you want. You don't have to do what I do. I try to do games I know I'll enjoy doing or in some cases like Castlevania Lords of Shadow thought I would enjoy) But if you start doing stuff like Zippy The Circle Level 1 or ZJ The Ball Level 1 or Stroke The Spider or The Jumping Taco, I'm going to look at you funny.
  23. For whatever reason, I have pictured Weekend at Picard's where two Changelings are having to carry Picard's body around on Fleet Day. "Oh the Admiral was VERY excited to be here today." "Very. He had a little too much of Aldebaran whiskey before he got here."
