  1. Talk Is Jericho with Moxley is probably what you want to listen to first. I'm pretty sure the Wade Keller one goes into more detail, but the Jericho pod was the first one I'm pretty sure? It's not as sickening or gross negligence as the Punk one, Moxley's comments are more about creative and how flat out DUMB the company is at times.
  2. It says pre-order right in the picture. I'll likely pick these up, even though I'm not super into New Japan. Hopefully the packaging is killer. I went to their website, and it turns out they make Misfits toys (well, just the Fiend mascot and Jerry Only). Looks like my bank account will be super empty here soon, because the packaging on those Misfits Fiend toys are amazing. And they have Toxic Avenger toys???? EDIT: Oh, this reminds me. Where can I get that super detailed Jushin Liger figure?
  3. I get why WWE stockpiles talent, I really do. But it doesn't mean I have to like it or anything. Someone like Deonna Purrazzo is just wasting away on the Florida PC house show loops, while fuckin' Taynara Conti is getting TV time. I'm sure there are a dozen more examples on the men's side of things. It made sense, at one point, to have all of this talent in your back pocket, for when roster space in NXT becomes available due to people moving to the main roster. But that doesn't happen now since AEW is on TV - instead, you have people from the main roster coming back to NXT. And god knows how much of a theatrical shitshow Balor/Gargano is going to be compared to his matches with Adam Cole. Good god.
  4. Dark, it's right before the Falls Count Anywhere three-way match. MJF tells a story about being bullied in school because he was Jewish. But then he turns it back around in the most MJF way possible, where you think "what a fuckin' dick" but you still feel sorry for him. You could see him tearing up a little bit, too.
  5. Yo what the fuck, how is AEW making me tear up in an interview with MJF? Goddamnit.
  6. That reminds me of the first thing that planted anti-WWE thoughts into my head - the CM Punk podcast that Colt Cabana did in 2014. That was a brutal listen - worse than the post-WWE Moxley podcasts, but on the same level.
  7. I cancelled my subscription to the Network before AEW even ran a show. Yeah, I was way more excited about that company than WWE, but the main factor was that I just didn't use the Network enough to justify $9.99 a month. I like the original content like Photoshoot, Ride Along, 24, etc. but, for one thing, I work weekends, so I'm never around to watch the PPVs anymore. I don't really have a desire to watch old episodes of Raw, or Nitro, or whatever. Another thing that REALLY soured me on WWE was the Saudi Arabia deal. WWE keeps Sami Zayn off those shows out of respect for their local culture, because he's a Syrian. It took them how many shows to finally agree to ONE women's match? I doubt we'll ever see someone like Sonya Deville on those shows in the future if women's matches become a reoccurring thing, too. Then you have shady business practices like the Jordan Myles stuff, and Casey from SquaredCircleSirens recently tweeted out that he's heard from multiple people in NXT that they haven't gotten the raises they were promised once they went to the USA Network. Adding time onto talent's contracts because of injuries, not letting unhappy workers go ply their craft elsewhere. I get that you don't want to have a potential Steve Austin/WCW situation, since it'd make them look foolish if Mike Kanellis or Luke Harper went elsewhere and became a megastar - unlikely, but still. I was thinking about this earlier today, but I really can't remember the last time I was genuinely looking forward to RAW or Smackdown each week like I do with Dynamite. Maybe it's recency bias and that'll wear off, but I look forward to that show every week (and Dark).
  8. Which is the appropriate response for having liquid sprayed into your eyes. Not flailing around on the ground like a fish out of water.
  9. Lexi Belle wanted to be a wrestler at one point in the last few years - c'mon, AEW! Make it happen.
  10. Ozymandias wasn't there when Jon was vaporized, but Janey Slater eventually worked for one of Veidt's many corporations. Veidt is the reason she developed lung cancer. Jeremy Irons is Ozymandias, unless Dr. Manhattan just likes wearing Ozy's outfit, since you can see him wearing it in a mock trial in previews of upcoming episodes. I'm convinced my theory is right - and I already hit it on the head with there being multiple versions of the housekeeper man and woman, most likely clones. There's also a theory floating around that the housekeepers are clones of Jon Osterman and Janey Slater, which seems at least possible due to the play and whatnot. Also, a (not so) crazy theory about the White Night (and who was the third survivor???): In the new update to Peteypedia (HBO's supplemental content for Watchmen), it's revealed that Judd served under Robert S. Mueller in Vietnam. Yes, THAT Robert Mueller. The senator we met in this episode was the son of John David Keene - the man responsible for the Keene Act. And, last thing: Will Reeves (Louis Gossett Jr.) was totally Hooded Justice back in the day. The man dipped his hand into a boiling pot of water and didn't even flinch. He hung Judd Crawford, but he's in a wheelchair. The idea behind those two scenes from American Hero Story was that the real Hooded Justice killed and framed this circus strongman as Hooded Justice, so he could slip away and disappear. I think it's entirely possible.
  11. It's on TNT and TBS. One will run the movie, the other station will run something else. Then they switch. Also, it's for 48 hours, not 24.
  12. Yeah it'll be a highlights show on Christmas.
  13. An actual WWE employee defending WWE - a real shocker here, folks.
  14. This is really weird coming from one of the resident WWE defenders.
  15. Of course it does, capitalism runs our government.
  16. MJF turning on Cody is the expected route, but I kinda want to see a role reversal in that scenario.
  17. WWE released a statement about that shirt. “Albert Hardie Jr. (aka Jordan Myles) approved this t-shirt for sale. As always, we work collaboratively with all of our performers to develop logos and merchandise designs and get their input and approval before proceeding. This was the same process with Albert, and we responded swiftly once he later requested that the logo/t-shirt be redesigned. No t-shirts were sold.”
  18. Black wrestling Twitter is having a field day with this - plus the Collective announced they’re doing a For The Culture show on WrestleMania weekend (presumably an all black talent card). Of course, almost immediately after that announcement, people dug into the promoter’s tweets and found some homophobic and rape related tweets. So, it’s been a weird day.
  19. Raziel fits that to a tee, though. Especially when Kylie Rae is brought up, even outside of AEW threads.
  20. There's still time. Lest we forget the New Warriors.
