  1. Where can I go on this board to shill a local indy?
  2. I had heard the name before somewhere and finally looked it up. Moose! Yup, that's him. Shaved head now.
  3. And he was at Evolve on Friday in Tampa, not that that means anything.
  4. I saw the Bravado's in that No DQ match (was at that show too). I thought they did a good job there as well. The Dark match for Evolve 25 had this huge black dude named "Moose" who I haven't seen before. He gave a guy a spear that when he hit it it looked like he did a front roll/flip? Either way, it was awesome. But yeah, Uhaa is awesome.
  5. YES. That was one of the first things I noticed. I was feeling bad for them because there were so many empty seats. Then they go on commentary "We've got a jam-packed crowd here tonight" and it's like "Uh, really?" Yeah, that's the weird thing about the Orpheum. It's got the stage, which is were Bands play and it's also the same spot the main camera is looking at. They run all the production stuff from upstairs and that's where the hard cam is. On the right side (looking from hard cam) is about 3 rows or so, right in front of the camera is no seating, then to the left is where the open bar area is where most of the general admission people sit. That's where I always am because i'm probably 5-10 feet further back from the ring. And for this show, they did all the flying highspots towards my spot anyways. It's hard to count the people there because the way the building is, but there was at least 100+ I like the way the Chikara show looked on camera there. Looking forward to re-watching this. Also, forgot about Uhaa's standing Shooting Star. Holy crap! That dude is huge to be doing that.
  6. I was at the show live in Ybor. Pretty packed crowd, very vocal and fun. The Trent/Neese match was just awesome. They did a lot of PWG style super combo killer to kick-out. Trent really puts on great matches and the ones i've seen of him in FIP have usually been pretty good. I like Neese from his match with Cage in PWG, so I was stoked to see him live. Dude is IN SHAPE. Also, Trent had an awesome line when putting over Neese (as an original dude buster), after saying Neese was missing something, but wasn't really sure what it was he said, "I don't know what that means, but I said it!" Trent is pretty funny. Nice guy too, always walks around the end of the shows with a PBR. I really liked Hero/Richochette - Two different styles, but it worked really well. I was totally expecting Hero to go over with the Hero runs the Gauntlet gimmick, but both looked strong. They also used the poles in the building in a sick spot where Hero pushed Ricochet off the top, to the outside and into the support pole. Gargano is an awesome as a heel. When he came out he was doing his thing and saw a little boy, held his hand up for a high five, gives the kid a high five then tells the kid to give him a hug. He does. The look are Garganos face was so evil/dick/heel it was perfect. He then does more of his stuff, gets in the ring, goes to the corners, gets booed. Goes to the corner where the little boy is, the boy waves at him! Gargano feigns heartache. I don't know if it came across on the broadcast, but it was awesome. I love Chuck Taylor. He was sold out of his Chuck on a Bike shirt in my size so I bought the stupid Stick Figure Best Friends shirt. Love it. Young Bucks are awesome. I hope they get a chance in NXT at some point. I like them better as heels in PWG, but they are a really great Tag Team. They also have likes 17 shirts for sale at the Gimmick Table. Manzk, How did the Brovados come across in the iPPV. I like them, but i've read other places they don't seem to get over. Fantastic show! I'm going to do my best to catch up on more Evolve/DGUSA from now on.
  7. It makes complete sense to NOT have everything on their right away. Not just because they want to entice viewers, but for the actual work of digitizing all of their video and getting it onto a HardDrive and linked up with a server. This isn't posting stuff to Youtube, this is going to take a LOT of work. I can't imaging WWE has all those Hours of WCW/AWA/ECW Digitized yet. That's hundreds and hundreds of hours. I would assume the BIG MOMENTS (WWE loves moments) are all there even more so if it is former WCW guys who are now huge in WWE. No way all Nitros will be available from the start or Saturday Nights, but that shouldn't be shocking.
  8. As mentioned, one of the guys who got me into American Indies during/after college. I first saw a photo of him in the gear and it was probably a year or so before I ever saw a match of his. His return to PWG was awesome. It would have been awesome to be in the room that night.
  9. UGH! That skinny girl dislocates her elbow. OWW! Like Eddie on RAW but with NO muscle... Wow, so gross.
  10. Stiff. Well played... WHO was the dude who.....
  11. I was gonna ask which of their weekend Florida shows are on iPPV, and then I checked, and all three of them are. Oy! But yeah, I'm thinking the Tampa one looks like the best of the bunch. I do too, but I wish Tampa had either the Neese/Hero or more prefurably (for me) Taylor/Hero. However, Taylor is wrestling that cat lucha guy, so that might be funny. The venue has already sold out it's first and VIP rows. They have shows at the Orpheum in Ybor. I think the shows looks cooler than the bright venues/gyms FIP and Chikara do in Orlando. At least the Chiakara show I went to there looked cooler in my opinion. Also, like I said earlier, LOTS of casual fans at work (i'm the wrestling guy) are coming up and talking to me about it. Talking about the NWO and Austin and even Warrior.
  12. Like how Netflix, Hulu and Spotify haven't reduced piracy? I can't see myself ever having to illegally DL or stream any WWE content after this, and I do that for most PPVs and Raws that my DVR fucks up or doesn't catch the overrun on. Illegal streaming will soon be an exclusive feature of the NFL. I edited one of my posts to talk about this, but it didn't post. My wife and I use Spotify and Netflix. I haven't downloaded a single album or song illegaly since paying for the premium service. I have downloaded free mix tapes and EP's put out by labels, but nothing that wasn't intended to be free. It's so much easier to pay a small fee and get good QUALITY content (good image and sound) and not have to search for downloads and run a spyware remover after every download. Wasn't there a study done that was posted on a tech blog that music piracy has dropped since iTunes, Spotify and Pandora have been going?
  13. AR Fox vs Davey Richards was just announced for Evolve in Tampa tomorrow night. Not sure if they have wrestled each other before, but I can imagine some nutty stuff is going to go down. I'll be sure to let the board know about their favorite wrestler since i'll be there. Pretty stacked card and Naylor on commentary.
  14. We will probably need a new WWE Network thread where we can help each other find stuff that is good or we haven't seen before. I can't wait to see some of the ECW stuff and see pre-NWO WCW stuff for the first time.
  15. How was the dude who played the zombie?
  16. I'm glad to see everyone excited about this. My casual fan friends have been texting me all morning about the network and they are probably as excited as I am. The real surprising thing to me is my friends whom are local indy guys who have become "upset" with the buisness are even excited about this announcement.
  17. ESPN covered a Giagantic YES! chant at the Michegan game last night. Coach gave a shout out to Daniel Bryan. Today on Sports Center, they covered it again and the anchor said something about the chant being made famous by WWE Wrestler, Daniel Bryan.
  18. If Jarrett could do a Memphis style show without authority figures and without Jarrett as the top guy, I would watch. Who they could book as a top guy is a good question. I wouldn't think Jericho would go anywhere but the WWE. I'm sure he knows his money is there, and maybe he has loyalty to Vince for letting him come and go. RVD? I don't know. I am not into him anymore, but that's me. *FANTASY BOOKING TIME* Bryan Cage as either the top Baby or Top Monster heel. If he cut down on the MOVEZ I could buy him as an ass kicking heel. I don't know how he "draws" but I think he would be something special. Drake Younger as the new Sabu type. Young Bucks as the dick tag-team.
  19. Christophers reaction to dodging the fans touch is perfect. Scotty's interview on AOW is really good. Check it out.
  20. Just watched this. My version had no commetcial breaks for the main. Cena gave soooo much to Rollins. The announcers put rollins over the entire time. Also. Big props to dean and reigns and henry and langston for being so involved on tje outside. That was awesome and really added to that match. Shield is sooo good. Who ever put those three dudes together and decided to protect them so well deserves a raise.
  21. Even though the point of NXT and Regal there is to put shine on the new stars, I'd really like to see Regal kick someones ass. (Did he win against Hero? I forget.) Either way. Cesaro is the MVP this year. Hands down. I want him to be elevated and then feud with Bryan.
