  1. Why the fuck are you destroying this fantastic show thread with talk of your stupid ass zombie show that isnt even about zombies anymore!?!
  2. Or that one scene from Fresh Prince when Wills dad leaves him again.Probably reminds Show of his own dad. Or the funeral at least...
  3. Drift? Whatchyu meeeen driiiift? July can't get here quick enough.
  4. If Alexander Russev counts then I'm putting his name in. He's not there yet but he will be one day. Does Samoa Joe count as a "Big Man"? Joe Park has to get a nomination at least. Abyss?
  5. Say what you want about Hunter's in ring history but the man knows this business. I was in and out for about a year but the last month has had me hooked.
  6. Beautiful framing and foreshadowing. Has anyone mentioned this show being the best thing on TV ever? A question for some of the more die hard fans who have been on board from day one - Was it always planned that season 5 would be the end? Did they talk at any stage about coming into this with a plan for X number of episodes to tell the story and then they would get out while it was still good? Kurt Sutter with Sons or Anarchy said he only planned 5-6 seasons out but that the network kept offering extentions so he expanded the story and I think it's really hurt that show alot. Just wondering if BB was planned with this arc and conclusion from the start or if the team decided to just quit while they were on top of the world.
  7. Anyone remember that episode of South Park where Cartman breaks his 'funny bone'? He sees something so funny, that his body is unable to process any kind of humor from that point forward.I think this show has broken my 'drama' bone. I can't see how I will ever be able to watch another serious TV drama without holding it to the impossible standards this show has set. I was sceptical when it first aired and people were raving about how good it was. I'd heard it all before with The Wire, NYPD Blue, The Sopranos etc. so I put off watching it for years. I've spent the last 4 months just plowing through it to catch up and I can say, without a doubt, it is the best TV series I have ever watched. Just incredible stuff.....
  8. Finally saw Glengarry Glen Ross having spent the first 5 or so years of my post high school life working in shitty sales jobs, I could totally empathise with these guys. What bugged the hell out of me is why so many sales coaches and team leaders quote it or refer to it. No-one in this movie comes away looking good. Everyone is just trying to pedal the shit they've been dealt to try and get through life. It's not a desirable situation to be in at all. I can understand people bringing up the hot shots from Boiler Room because those guys game across as cool, even if they were shady as hell, but the sales side of GGR is totally depressing and makes me thankful I got out when I did. Any team leader using "Always Be Closing" on their staff should be ashamed of themselves.
  9. Miz can call Flair and get him to call Double A to come in and teach Riley how to hit a spinebuster.Instant nostaligia team that can eventually go heel by claiming they do the moves/spots better than Flair/Arn which leads to your HHH face turn to 'help his buddies'. Simples.
  10. Came here to post pretty much the same thing.I loved the wheel kick and when he cranked that Camel Clutch... Awesome stuff.
  11. That one armed swinging uranage that Umaga used to hit him with was just brutal. I wonder what kind of bump guys like Rollins or Ziggler would try and take on that?
  12. Yeah, Umaga was awesome. That LMS match at the 07 Rumble might be close to my favorite ever match and it came at the peak of the 'hating Cena cause it's cool' period, before they accepted his tweener status and the reactions he was getting.Sad that he is gone because he would still be pulling off great matches with the likes of Punk, Bryan, Shield, Cena, Lesnar maybe... Can you image some of the crazy power spots they could build with a Cesaro face run vs Umaga? Or the bombs that would be thrown in a Henry/Show vs Umaga title match?
  13. Everytime you post something like this I just imagine you and Les Gold standing on the Detroit/Windsor border sharing a beer and telling tourists to "make a move" or get lost. Also, go Saints!
  14. I actually thought that Sami looked like Seth Rogen's little brother.I want to see CJ Parker and Emma hook up to face off against Fandango and Summer. The bubbles, the dreadlocks, the dancing, the bodypaint.... So much stuff to piss of the 2 perfectionists.Agree with the calls that Graves/Neville and Dawson/LeFort feel forced. I could buy Graves and Dawson as a team though. Finally, this is the best hour of wrestling on TV right now. Everyone his a clear gimmick or developed character and the unique looks and styles help make each match seem fresh, depite being done in a mostly WWE style.
  15. I held hope that they cast Burt Reynolds as Brian's uncle, the guy that taught him all about cars and women and life, for a big Chiba vs Reynolds bar fight. That'll do. Uncle Jeff Taylor sounds just fine to me
  16. Went back and watched Anaconda. Jon Voight as Al Pacino as Scarface as a snake hunter really is something. The rest of the movie is total shit, but Voight is worth following.
  17. I didnt mind Gridiron Gang as a poor mans Coach Carter. Took a wide pass on the rest though.
  18. Tony Jaa?!?As if this movie didn't already have all of my fukn money!!!
  19. Can any of these hobos hit a decent missile dropkick?
  20. Love the DW series but couldnt get into this. Im not a Gundam fan by any stretch so I guess I didnt really connect with any of the characters. Its a fun beat em up but not as good as say DW5 EmpiresIf you like Gundam you might like it more than I did though.
