Goddamn, the big bummer about this current trip of mine, week two out of three down south, is I have a 26-foot truck to drive. That severely limits the places I can go so I end up doing a lot of Door Dash and since it's always a gamble with quality due to how long it might take, I usually stick with restaurants within a couple miles of the hotel. You know I might not be a surprise anybody who doesn't live on the coasts, but holy shit I am shocked at the lack of masks out it's in the Midwest and down South. Just ridiculous, and severely increases my anxiety over travelling right now (but I'm banking a ton of OT for a move into a new house, so I kinda gotta do it).

Well, I feel a little less shitty about my one-week suspension due to the Kobe thread... All this shit sucks, and hopefully the victims can get some form of justice/closure.

It's a smell/taste thing but mostly a texture thing. I last had it at 16, just kept liking it less and less. I accept that it's odd, and frankly I can tell myself it could be worse since I've met people who don't like chocolate.

All this brisket talk has me sad I spent last week in the south (VA, TN, AL) and only had barbecue once... But lucky me, I have two more week of southern travel ahead! Hahahaha ???? This time I'm definitely getting some hole in the wall bbq and at least one huge Cook Out order Happy Father's Day, fellow dadz.

It feels like this game is finally complete, been waiting for that so I can truly dive into it because I'm not the type that is happy with just subscribing to other people's work. This rules.

I think this is my first time seeing him out of character and it is a little jarring, because like people have said he has maintained kayfabe EXTREMELY well. I was legitimately starting to think he was an actual prick because nobody can be that good of an actor ? As for people coming off as pricks with such ease, David Starr being a sleaze doesn't surprise me. Even though there are plenty of things but he has said about politics and workers rights that I am completely in agreement with, I have never really liked the dude or enjoyed hearing him talk. He definitely came off as the kind of dude that patted himself on the back for his beliefs.

I enjoyed the last third of TLOU and decided to immediately restart on Survivor+ since the gameplay/controls are fresh in mind - yeah, already getting sick of it. It's just not fun for the vast majority of the game. Here's hoping the sequel is far better.

Totally understood, but if Neil Druckman is to be believed, a lot of the point of both games is to make players feel uneasy about such violence. Could be bullshit, who knows? Still, I'm just going through my second playthrough in a row knowing people's objection to the brutality and it's more than suggested in-game that Joel is basically a monster. I've said it before but what won me over with the first LoU was the few times playing as Ellie. You felt like you had a true reason to be killing your way though because the fate of humanity was in your blood. Of course, the end totally throws that aside...

Gotta know more about this opinion. I actually went into it not enjoying it at all but it won me over in the late game.

I was very psyched to fuck people up with the bow and arrow, probably my favorite weapon in games like HZD, RDR2, Dying Light, and such. I have played enough now to know that a lot of people's issue with Joel is DIRECTLY addressed in-game, and the theme is furthered by the sequel. Not sure if I wanna pre-order though - I think I'll give this one another play through and then eventually take the plunge on the new one.
