  1. You mean this didn't have anything to do with Bayley got back?
  2. I want to, badly, but I can't currently justify buying another game. The backlog is no joke. However, I'm super psyched to see it so well-received and it's a for sure Black Friday purchase at the latest.
  3. Watching Uncharted Territory right now and having been to a couple of their shows, I've never really noticed their ropes being especially high. Definitely a lot of short dudes though. I'm 5'7 on a good day and have had nearly eye-to-eye chit chat with a LOT of wrestlers. Speak of Beyond and UT, man does Josh Briggs actually show personality on commentary, goes totally against his I'M SO SERIOUS AND INTENSE ring persona.
  4. Been thinking of getting it just for Beyond. I hate that they tape on Wednesdays because it doesn't jive with my work/family hours, so I already have this over-arching feeling of missing a good thing. Maybe watching it on my TV will alleviate that?
  5. Fuck, all this edit talk makes me wanna contribute but Fire Pro always falls by the wayside. I made a bunch of edits for the community back during the initial release of Returns but I wasn't into any other real gaming at that time. Now? I have a seriously absurd backlog, currently taking my time with Dying Light. I remember initially wanting to make a bunch of Beyond Wrestling guys but I just haven't had the inspiration. Looking forward to some AJPW edits though!
  6. My kiddos used to come with me to Evolve/Beyond shows but both grew out of it ? I think the boy will be back one day, though.
  7. I'm getting super confused with people saying folks are shooting dope and others are saying a logo is dope. I'm a driver, do a good amount of trips to the Midwest or NY, but I got no trucker speed. #boringoldguy
  8. Apparently a number of Stardom wrestlers are recording voice samples for DLC.
  9. Bushwick Bill is gone, 52 years old.
  10. I'll be playing it too. Always had a soft spot for Lego games and this looks fun.
  11. Re: Psychonauts 2 - Oh wonderful, I was already a little concerned at the end when we didn't see what systems ? Edit: Doublefine says it's on PS4 on Twitter
  12. I blame the contrarian nature of this board. "I learned it from watching you, dad! ...I learned it from watching you."
  13. Right on, that's what I was thinking. Also I was looking at a supposed timeline for Drake's age throughout the games. He meets Sully as a 14-15 year old and Drake's Deception occurs 20 years later. So if they start with Holland between those ages, it could work just fine.
  14. I was thinking the first two, especially since I'm wise enough not to subject myself to Crystal Skull ?
  15. As a huge fan of the game series, I wonder if they're gonna dip their toes into some of the more fantastic/mystical elements. I mean, Indiana Jones flicks pulled it off so maybe it'll work again?
  16. Can't Taker do something else within the company? Surely dude has a mind worth picking.
  17. Was it ever said explicitly that Vince was bringing the XFL back because of the angry white dudes screaming about kneeling black men, or was that coincidence? If it was a specific move to capitalize on such an audience, maybe homie can start a separate WWE brand to put all the Lars types and get those bigoted fucks off my TV screen...
  18. Re: taking Martha's word with a grain of salt, considering her completely inaccurate description of the move Owen used, you might wanna take her word with a salt lamp-sized grain...
  19. Finn Balor definitely has the same thing going on with Asuka, stop-start pushes that don't matter to their fans. It's almost like you'd see how psyched people are for these performers and do something consistent...
  20. I was definitely thinking more towards the Observer HOF because yeah, any WWE employee is likely to get into their Hall. Definitely agree on Becky and Charlotte, maybe even other women. They seem the most revolutionary right now even if it's due to how shitty WWE used to be with women. I was also kinda thinking about how we, and the general public, see as true legends. I don't see much of that right now, and struggle to see even potential legends.
  21. Cornette's show out today touches on his show last week, Sonny Kiss, and Joey Ryan so you have been warned.
  22. I'm thinking about all of the top stars from the 80s through the early 2000s, everybody from Backlund and Hogan to Austin and The Rock, and then when thinking about the current roster I just don't see anybody who is ever going to reach those upper echelons. Maybe I am a missing something but there is just nobody that screams future hall-of-famer. I think that says a lot, and that's a bummer because holy hell they have one of the most talented rosters ever. Maybe Daniel Bryan? Edited again to mention New Day, they seem to be bulletproof and like they'll be remembered a la DX.
  23. I was thinking more of that they should just stop undercutting wrestlers that get over on their own. Motherfucking Rusev had them selling boatloads of calendars. Calendars! Calendar that said Rusev Day on everyday, it is such a dumbass idea and yet he made it work, Aiden made it work, hell they were even getting Lana more and more popular. Instead of running with it they just blow it all up. Makes no fucking sense.
  24. That's exactly the problem with the company now - they're content to make one million when they could make ten.
