  1. Cole isn't bland at all. You need to watch his PWG and CZW stuff. As well as his promos on Youtube. A genuinely silly statement.
  2. I remember him from Irish indy shows and his feud with Sheamus and being in a short lived faction with the now Wade Barnett and Drew McIntyre: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LDFMy8YL2o He was a rather boring Wrestler then. Not an expert on the French/mainland indy scene but I think he has been fairly inactive since the mid 00s.
  3. Liked this episode too. However it really underscored the handicap the lack of a brand spilt presents to introducing NXT talent. Not a definitive list but I feel the following talent run against each other too much: Daniel Bryan vs Sami Zayn Fandango vs Tyler Breeze Wyatt Family vs Ascension Damien Sandow vs Aiden English
  4. Hm. I think Rovert wants us to talk about breakfast joints again. Amen.
  5. Davey Richards??? How do you guys stay so contemporary?
  6. For simplicity sake WWE should go back to Alberto Del Rio and his little towel
  7. I miss the sports entertainment I grew up with where heels were emasculated at every turn. Names like Carlito, Chris Masters, Spirit Squad, The Miz & R-Truth.Makes me no longer want to be a member of the WWE Universe.
  8. There is still time on the lease of the Tampa arena and obviously they drew there in the past so they are using it.
  9. Ireland's Joey Cabray now Luther Ward in WWE developmental seems to be doing an Irish traveller gimmick:
  10. And drinking tea. More or less nailed it. Best work/life/pay ratio in Wrestling outside of a high end WWE legend to my mind. Colt Cabana makes good money outside of WWE but he has to hustle dealing with promoters and hawk merch. Devitt works out of one centralised booking office so to speak, a guaranteed work schedule with plenty of time off. He is also like a son to the promotion and likely factored in with New Japan post his in ring career. Getting older or Luther Ward or Becky Lynch being successful might possibly change things though but as it stands and stood last year I don't see him going to WWE.
  11. I dunno if he can wrestle a lick or not (Never seen him) but if he can he should pretty much be put right into The Ascension as the "worker" of the group as he'd fit right in with Conor O'Brian/Rick Victor's look of clubbers from the future. Holy shit that's Joey Cabray?! I hung out with him a few years back because my ex knew him and he came to the states to watch Wrestlemania (whichever one was in Chicago...23 maybe?). Good dude, we had some good talks about wrestling but I never kept in touch. Awesome for him. Like I said he is shape shifter. Just thought he would just stay in Ireland and continue to train people. I guess his girlfriend also having WWE interested changed things.
  12. Justin Shape is a pretty fun local comedy/character wrestler. Was surprised Luther Ward/Joey Cabray/OMEN was signed. Had him pegged as your most solid local worker who will never get signed type even though he is/was better regarded in the industry than that. For example back when mainland Europe was booming Wrestling wise he was the only non-North American Rob Van Dam would let wrestle him.
  13. Maybe it's the similar contacts, but he looks like a super young Kane. Give Joey six months and he will look totally different. Never encountered a wrestler who could shift shape like him.
  14. Congrats to "First Openly Gay WWE Superstar®" Darren Young and the Summerslam marketing plan.
  15. Her family are the British equivalent of white trash.
  16. Yeah this was a bit a triumph compared to both the NWA title and Dynamite Kid documentaries
  17. I've honestly had brainstorms with people about which Irish names could have a chance to get throught WWE and American filtering: NiamhAoifeNuala Fionnuala CaoimheEimear For those who don't know WWE added an extra "h" to the traditional Irish spelling of "Seamus" too.
  18. Feel like writing an article for the Wrestling Observer front page about WWE's sickening Irishsploitation: Rebecca "Knox" Quin is has turned ginger
  19. Is anything new? That's always been the case with her. She probably isn't old enough to rent a car.
  20. No really just FSW repeats the same cycle over and over. He picks a fight at me, makes odd and untrue statements then some who knows me eventually seems them here and then makes fun of FSW to the point of his embarrassment and then he stops. After the last time it happened I thought he finally learnt from all his follies. But no. I touched a nerve and again you are the last person to issue a post count diss. Never really white knighted Melty. I just poked holes in goofballs and their goofball opinions. There's plenty to be critical of Dave of, I do it all the time fam. As per usual you are completely off the mark when it comes to me. I'll now heed Phil's warning. Now back to this tremendous dinner talk.
